It's summer time in Japan and aside from odd electrical disturbances, everything is normal.

Tokomon stares out Azuma's bedroom window, flashing its gaping maw at the neighbor's cat who had come to stand on the window ledge. Scared it jumps off and runs off.

Tokomon: "That'll show it. This is my window."

Hitomi sits in a corner in her room, playing out a tune on a keyboard. Nyaromon lays on the bed, cuddling with a plush snow leopard.

Nyaromon: "It's such a nice day, why don't we go outside?"

Hitomi stops and looks at Nyaromon.

Hitomi: "All right."

Taiyo and Viximon are at a plaground, Taiyo on a swinging on a swing while Viximon sits on another trying to keep her balance.

OOC: What the fuck was that supposed to be?

*Roatha is at a walk in the park, where I presume this playground is, Dorimon trotting along behind. Nearby, Euryale is on a bench, Gigimon curled up in her lap. Aroma is on the same bench, knitting, but looking anxious, having to unknit & reknit several times. Budmon is hiding in a bush nearby.*

E"So, when did you move here?"

A"Wh-what?!"

E"Well...pardon me if I'm being offensive, but you look...British."

A"I'm...half-Spanish. But I've lived here my whole life, I swear."

E"Oh...I'm sorry for assuming, I'm just trying to make conversation."

*Eve sits at a picnic table, having been forced out of the house by her parents. She's currently typing up something on her laptop, wit Gummymon on her lap*

Gummymon:<Let's go down the slide!>

*Eve barely looks down before turning back to her laptop*

Gummymon:<Fine.>

*Nearby, Kylie and Cameron are having a picnic, their partners beside them. Kylie's eating a sandwich, while Cameron has a bag of chips. Both of their partners have watermelon slices*

Kylie:<This was a good idea, thanks Moonmon.>

*Monnmon's too busy eating to respond*

Cameron:<Maybe I should have brought extra watermelon.>

Azuma: "Stop scaring the neighbor's cat."

Tokomon: "Then tell their cat to stay out of my window. It can sit in any other window, but this one. This one is mine. Wouldn't have this issue if you went outside more often. Or maybe opened this window."

Azuma: "Fine, we'll go outside."

Salamon in tow, Hitomi sets off for the park, Nyaromon wanting to go down the slide.

Viximon falls off the swing she was sitting on. Taiyo skids to a halt to pick her up and brush her off.

Taiyo: "Oh, are you okay?"

Viximon: "Never better. I'd like to sit on something I can stand on without falling."

Taiyo puts Viximon on the merry go round.

*Gummymon tugs on Eve's hand*

<Just one time. I swear.>

Eve:<Maybe once I'm done with this.>

*Cameron tosses another watermelon slice to Moonmon, and watching with fascination as she quickly downs the thing*

Yokomon:<Stop being such a pig.>

*Moonmon spits a seed at him*

*Roatha decides to schmooze. He heads over to lean on the Merry Go Round.*

R"So--"

*Unfortunately, he leaned on a Merry Go Round. He's on the ground in a second.*

R"Ow! Son of a bitch!"

*Dorimon laughs, trying to pass it off as chattering rodent noises.*

A"Oh dear."

And so Azuma sets off with a weirdo critter under his arm. Luckily there's no one in the halls or on the elevator to question him.

Hitomi gets some strange looks as she walks down the street with what could only be seen as a mutant cat in her arms.

Taiyo: "Are you okay?"

*Gummymon laughs at Roatha*

<Smooth.>

Eve:<Don't be so loud, someone could hear you.>

Kylie:<Hey now, you two stop it.>

*She picks up Moonmon and places her on her place*

Yokomon:<Look at that guy over there.>

R"My body will survive. My ego may not."

*He pats Viximon on the head while he's down there.*

E"Sorry, I've gotta go wingman. We should talk more, when I get back. If you're not busy, I mean. I'll understand if you're busy."

*Aroma just shakes her head, so Euryale gets up & heads over to the scene that Roatha is making.*

Much like Hitomi was, Azuma is now getting weird looks from people.

Hitomi arrives at the park and sets off for the playground. She stops a short distance away noticing there are others around.

Viximon stays still trying to mask the displeasure that comes from being patted by someone with dirt and gross on their hands.

Taiyo: "That's good. Kind of."

*Kylie picks up Moonmon and wanders over to check out of the scene. Yokomon takes the opportunity to snag the last piece of watermelon*

*Eve continues to work, and hasn't turned around. Gummymon, meanwhile, is watching with interest*

*Euryale walks up to them, putting a hand down.*

E"I trip over here all of the time, they should really even out the ground, or something."

*Roatha takes it, & allows himself to be pulled up.*

R"Uh, yeah."

*Euryale then bends over, picking up Viximon.*

E"Oh, this is cute, don't you think so?"

R"Yeah, adorable."

Azuma is now going down a path, going nowhere in particular.

Nyaromon: "What's to worry about? Those don't look like ordinary animals."

Hitomi begins to move away from the playground area anyways.

Taiyo: "Um, thank you."

She looks at Dorimon.

Taiyo: "That one's pretty cute too."

R"Thanks."

G<What about me?>

E"(Quiet!)"

*Euryale talks back over her shoulder.*

R"Uhh...I got him under some fairly unusual circumstances. I thought it might have been the same with you."

*Seeing that Taiyo isn't yelling at her, Euryale passes Viximon into Roatha's arms. He proceeds to pet her.*

*Kylie comes over, waving*

<Aw, you guys have stuffed animals too. I thought I was the only one that still carried one around.>

*Moonmon tries not to move. Meanwhile, Cameron finishes eating, sees Hitomi, and heads over to say hello with Yokomon*

Cameron:<Afternoon!>

*Eve turns around now, quietly watching the group*

Azuma strolls by the playground seeing a group of people with other weirdo critters.

Azuma: "My God, it's like a convention of weirdos."

Tokomon: "So go introduce yourself, you weirdo."

Hitomi: "Um...hello?"

Taiyo looks at Euryale, perplexed by her talking to no one over her shoulder.

Taiyo: "Um, yeah. Really unusual."

*Cameron grins at her and holds out his hand*

<How are you doing today?>

Kylie:<where did you guys get your stuffed animals?>

Gummymon:<Go say hello.>

R"(Euryale, I'm scared, I think this just turned into an orgy!)"

E"(Just act natural, I'll handle this.) Hey, my name's Euryale, & this is Roatha."

*She gestures to him.*

E"The animal's name is Dorimon, if that's important to anyone."

Hitomi hesitates before shaking his hand.

Hitomi: "Fine. And yourself?"

Taiyo: "I'm Taiyo and that's Viximon. Do you have one?"

Kylie:<wait, are all your plush "mon" too? Because this is Moonmon.>

*She holds Moonmon*

<Did you guys get a strange electronic thing with it?>

<Great. I'm Cameron by the way.>

*Eve stands up, and puts away her laptop*

R"Dear God, why do you insist on pretending these are toys? You can see mine move, & I can feel this one's body heat."

Hitomi: "Hitomi."

Viximon: "She's determined to keep the illusion."

Azuma realizes he's standing in the shadows like some kind of creeper and should someone interpret him as such he'd likely lose to the redhead should she attack so he decides to act friendly.

Azuma: "Hile, other people with strange critters."

*Roatha digs out his Digivice while Gigimon trots out from behind Euryale's legs.*

E"...Did you just 'heil' us?"

*Moonmon jumps out of Kylie's arms*

<I knew it!>

*Seeing this, Gummymon darts over*

Gummymon:<Hi, hi, HI!>

*Gummymon hops up and down. Eve stands dead still for a second before running after Gummymon*

<Aw, that's cute. By the way, that's a really cute plush you have there.>

*Cameron motions with his free arm at Nyaromon. In his other arm, Yokomon suddenly blinks*

It is as inactive now as it was the day he got it.

Hitomi: "Thank you?"

Azuma: "Um...no?"

Last time I greet somebody ever again.

Taiyo squats down in front of Gigimon.

Taiyo: "That's a cute...lizard."
