~Story~
It is the late 6th Century AD. Many years ago, a great leader defeated the Saxxon invaders, unifying the Celtic Lands. This man needs no introduction other than his name: King Arthur Pendragon.

However, in recent years, the King's health has taken a turn for the worse. While the court's healers have yet to decree him to be in mortal peril, the Franks have seen the weakness of the Kingdom of Camelot, & have begun to enact raids on distant outposts.

Between these raids & quests to outlying lands to procure treasures for & slay monsters who threaten the kingdom, Arthur's knights are spread thin. This has led Arthur to decide to search for new recruits.

~Sign-Up~
Name: First & last.
Appearance: Physical features including eye & hair color, hair style, skin tone, & musculature, as well as clothing.
Status: The character's social & economic status. Also list occupations--legal or otherwise--here.
Race: Only humans to start with. Once the RP reaches a point where I think everyone understands how it works, I'll allow the selection of others.
Age: Self-explanatory.
Bio: A brief personal history of the character.
Defense: Weapons & fighting styles go here. Magic is an option, but magicians have little physical ability, & do not start with much magic. So, be sure to elaborate on the types of magic the character starts with. Mage or fighter, either character can train in any discipline once the RP kicks off.
Other: For things I may have missed.

Name: Thiera Psyche
Appearance: A girl with long, blond hair, blue eyes, & white skin. She's about 5'5" & somewhat scrawny. Most of her body is covered by a white cloak. It has a hood, but she usually keeps it down.
Status: Thiera is a Druid. As such, she has the social status of a noble, but the economic status of a peasant. Her job is to commune with nature for the benefit of other commoners, & she also studies healing.
Race: Human
Age: 17
Bio: The Psyche family was a local fixture long before Arthur came & created his kingdom. Although they chose not to fight on either side, her mother, Binah, agreed to assist Merlin with non-violent magic, such as healing & construction, although Thiera was too young at the time to remember any of this. As such, they are on very good terms. Binah is a very powerful mage, Merlin being her only known superior. Through her mother's working relationship with him, Thiera was able to learn some prophetic powers of her own. Although she mainly studies healing, her dream is to be every bit the powerful magus her mother & mentor are.
Defense: Thiera has little skill with weapons & her only magic is the ability to discourse with the natural landscape. Therefore, she usually relies on agility & wits to shake her foes.

Name: Ari Turmill
Status: Ari is the son of a knight, so he's a noble, I guess.
Age: 13
Appearance: He is a short blond kid with light blue eyes and very pale skin. He wears a white cloak over a black t-shirt and black cargo-like shorts. He has turquoise metal chestplace and shoulderpads over his shirt, which he inherited from his late father. Black boots.
Bio: He lives in a country house surrounded by a few ha of forest that are his family's property. He lives with his mother, his little sister, two maids, and a butler. His parents were from the lower class until his father proved his valor in battle and was accepted into knighthood. A few weeks before Ari's birth, his father, not too well accepted among nobles, died a few weeks before his birth in a battle. Though he was sick for most of his childhood, he eventually managed to get better with the help of his mother, who inherited some white magic from her ancestors. Having missed the change to become a page, he was kept trying to follow on his father's footprints and eventually became a squire, at the age of 12. He is now in training at a local academy, waiting to become a knight's apprentice when he turns 14. His mother taught him how to read and write, both of which he loves doing. Usually quiet, he usually seems to be pretty rude towards strangers, refusing to speak unless it is strictly necessary. However, he is in fact quite friendly and innocent. He cares for the staff almost like they're family, after 20 years living with them. He has no friends his age whatsoever, due to his antisocial personality, the fact he lives isolated and the fact other squire kids and nobles still don't respect his family very much because of his parents' old status.
Defense: He can cast spells to heal small superficial wounds (Thanks to his mom's ancestry), like small cuts and abrasions, like his mother. He carries a blue greatsword that is about 3'3 long on his back, though he's still a rookie at fighting with it.
Other: Ari needs his sword. Also, I want wind magic later on, fuck yeah.

Name: Kelphy Colsun

Appearance:

Status: Noble. Kelphy is King Arthur's niece, living in the palace with her family.
Age: 17
Bio: Kelphy was born by a river, when her mother went into labor in her carriage during a trip from their country castle to Arthur's palace. For this reason and others, she loves water more than anything, and a day doesn't go by without her sneaking out of the castle, usually in her cloak to avoid being recognized, to visit a river nearby. She has been studying magic since she was very young, inspired by Merlin and her uncle Arthur's adventures, but only seems to be able to cast water magic for the most part. To compensate for her lack of skill at other typs of magic, her water magic can be quite destructive, focusing in highly pressurized water attacks that really put the T in Tsunami. She can also produce sound waves that can be quite prejudicial underwater. Overall, she is very friendly and social, but usually innocent and cautious at the same time.
Defense: Fuck defense, Tsunami Power!

In light of this new information, & due to the shitcanning of the FFT RP, please disregard Thiera. At least for now.

Name: Lilith Psyche
Appearance: A young woman with white skin & green eyes. She has red hair, drawn up into a single braid, save for her bangs, which goes down to about the center of her back. She wears a black travelling cloak. Underneath that, she has a rather shoddy cotton shirt, pants that don't quite go down to her ankles, & battle boots. Also, she's flat as a board. If You Know What I Mean. And I Think That You Do.
Status: Lilith is a noble through marriage
Race: Human
Age: 22
Bio: She was married to the Round Table Knight Maleagant at age 16, but unknown circumstances led to a divorce 2 years later. Lilith wasn't booted from power because she was just too good at leading military & politics. Therefore, Arthur awarded Maleagant's province to her, in spite of the fact that she isn't a Round Table Knight. Malegant is still quite bitter over this. She went back to her maiden name after the divorce, but is held in contempt by many other nobles for said divorce & her distinctly un-noble behavior.
Defense: Lilith is an agile fighter, employing 2 main styles: One that seems to be adapted from dance & another that relies on sheer overwhelming force. Because of this, she's capable of holding her sword in either hand or with both. Said sword is an eastern blade, a katana, custom made & imported at her specific requests. The blade is white with a rosey tinge worked in & carvings of flowers touched with silver. It's the prettiest thing you'll ever have lodged in your sternum.

Can I get a quick rundown of what's happening in the rp so far? I'm kinda thinking of joining but am unsure.

5 pages of exposition, that's what. Guinevere got kidnapped by Malegant, & was rescued by the characters, who are now in the process of being rewarded by Arthur before I send them to Greece or something.

Should I wait to make a character then if I don't want them to be from Europe?

You should make the character now so I can approve it & worry about how to get from A to B later on.

Name: Lycus
Appearance: Lycus
Status: Upper Class, Exile, Slayer of Monsters
Race: Human
Age: 20
Bio: Lycus was born somewhere in Greece, it isn't exactly clear where because his mother and father left him with an elderly couple. While growing up he did various things that children do. The year he turned fifteen he happened to have slept with someone who he would later to come to find out was his sister by blood and a noble in her own right. General badness followed and he was exiled from Greece (specifically Athens). He was dumped on Italian shores where he was sold to an upper class family who in-turn sold him to an underground slave ring who sold him to a traveling family from France who bought him as a slave for their eldest daughter. It took about a month for him to sleep with her and get her pregnant. When she miscarried he was exiled yet again, by way of pitchforks, torches, and chasing him through the French countryside. He snuck aboard a trading vessel headed back to Greece where he was greeted by armed guards and a warrant for his arrest. He was taken to Athens where he met with his sister who had managed to bail him out. She then tasked him with traveling to the "Emerald Shores" to acquire some manner of rare herb that grew only there. He was now seventeen. He traveled to Ireland and ended up earning the ire of witch girl who offered him shelter in exchange for a wedding vow. He screwed her, literally and figuratively, and she hexed him with impotency. As luck would have it the herb he had been tasked to find was a cure for that. His sister needed it to cure her lover of his perpetual flaccid cock. Also as luck would have it, the thing was guarded by some manner of deer... monster... thing. He promptly slayed it and apparently pissed off a local clan who worshiped the thing as a god. He was captured and set to be executed. Unlucky for them they left him in the care of one of their female warriors. After sweet talking her he put his seed in her too and made off into the night with a sack full of the mystic herb. He returned to Greece only to find his sister had fallen from her lofty position into prostitution as payment for infeldelity, her lover and her husband were apparently two different people. Lycus found himself back in jail again shortly after returning after he insulted a high ranking general's daughter, aka he defiled her (sensing a pattern here?). He escaped from jail with the daughter's help and the two stowed away aboard a merchant vessel headed to the north. They found themselves in Scandinavia where Lycus, nineteen, made himself a name by going around and slaying the monsters of legend up there and pissing the shit out of some vikings. You do not piss the shit out of vikings. They took his now wife and murdered her then chased him out of the land. Luckily he had the last laugh by stealing one of their sailing vessels and heading for England. Once he got there he ended up sleeping with the wife of one of King Aurthur's knights and was promptly set for execution had the king not gotten wind of his monster slaying deeds up north. He was released and put into the service of the court.
Defense: Lycus is skilled in many forms of weaponry. He can wield lances, bows, great swords, axes, and any manner of other weapon. However his primary weapons are a pair of gladius blades. The blades have silver handles wrapped in blue cloth. The guards are styled like roaring lion's heads made out of a black metal. The blade of each is a watery blue color that seems to trap the light in such a way that the blades appear like the waves.
Other: From Crete to Greece, from Greece to England, from England to the Norse lands, and back again, there isn't a creature he hasn't hunted.

Well, he's 20, so he must have started his adventures at the age of 8, or something. And that still doesn't quite explain how he's basically had sex with every woman in the world, slayed every monster in the world, & mastered every weapon & martial art in the world. Oh, & apparently stole a boat from the vikings. Plus, when it's not talking about him sleeping with someone, the bio is surprisingly vague.

This is what I could come up with on short notice.

Errr let me clarify so I sound less whinny about it. Essentially I wrote that as it came so I didn't really have any sort of idea or plan when I wrote it up. I just winged it. So if it sucks its because of that.

Name: Ianatan Tolmach
Appearance: short pitch-black hair, has a "chin curtain" beard, several scars on his face, grey eyes, light skin, has slightly yellow-ish teeth, slighty about average height, is rather fit, wears a brown Brigandine with a beige shirt under it, beige pants, brown belt(where he keeps the swords) and brown boots
Status: social status of a peasant, economical status of a soldier. mercenary.
Age: 29
Bio: leaving home at the age of 17 to become a wandering warrior, Ian donned his father's old armor and two swords. he eventually joined a mercenary group at the age of 22 and betrayed them five years later because of a disagreement betwhen him and the group leader. is currently freelancing.
Defense: Ian wields two basket-hilted claymores(basket-hilted claymores, unlike highland claymores, are onehanded swords, just so you know) and uses a quick and unpredictable combat style

Jurassic: Sounds good.

Dark: I will say, for something that just came out of nowhere, it wasn't bad.

Name: Samuel Young
Appearance: Samuel is a strapping young lad with brown eyes and auburn hair. His hair is long, reaching his shoulders and a bit wavy. He is tan, due to his Spanish roots. He is athletically built, perfect for his street-rat life. His clothing is dirty, with basic cloth outfit. His shirt is a dark blue cloth with sleeves that reach his wrist. His pants are brown cloth that are a little tight to prevent snagging. He always wears a brown leather hat that a noble once gave him.
Status: A street rat, with no known family, he steals from vendors to survive.
Race: Human
Age: 22
Bio: Samuel has been living on his own since he was 13. He often travels from city to city since his life style makes it dangerous to stick around. He is very careful in what he steals, to only take what he needs, never more. His skills as a street rat have been invaluable to his survival. In a few cities his reputation is well known and he often finds himself diving through vendor stalls and blending into crowds to stay hidden from city guards. While he has a sword, he refrains from using it as often as possible. While traveling between cities, he met a noble that gave him his hat. He never understood why or what it meant.
Defense: A dragon katana with the sheath on his back.
Other: I may need a summary on the story to catch up 90+ posts is a lot of reading.

Wow, 50 posts really isn't very much. It must be like 4 pages. Sometimes these things go to 50 pages or more. And we've never even finished one.

Umm...Mordred & a few of the characters went to rescue Guinevere from Malegant. They rescued her & Mordred killed Malegant. As a reward, Arthur made some of them Round Table Knights & one of them a Squire. Now those characters are getting ready for a trip to Denmark to kill some dragon who fucked Arthur up.

The only other character before you has been in a bar this whole time.

Its like 7+ pages =P and ya im lazy and dont like a lot of reading to play catch up.

And yes he is strapping. I realized after I wrote it that he's a mix between Aladdin and the Assassin's Creed guy.

Portugal has a diverse culture like most (if not all) of Europe.
It has pale people as its original and oldest, but also tanner skin tones and even black.
So true it may not have been the best country to pick, it's still accurate.

I'm Portuguese and Portuguese. Most people that aren't pale here don't descend from Portuguese. I can understand we're darker than the Irish, but we're sure as hell not not tanned either.

Portugal is indeed one of the oldest countries in the world, no other country in the world has accomplished so many great deeds, no other country in the world has managed to ruin every single one of them like we always do.
