The Palace of St. Bevelle

"Let go fo me."

Zephyr dodges a lightning bolt and lets Luna handle Hitomi. Meanwhile he chats with Ark, "So, do you actually like Hitomi or are you just fooling around?"

Zeno: <Gonna say this now: Romance sucks.>

"But you're soooo cute! We never have any girl bonding time."

<That's haw-->

*Senthose looks back at them.*

<Eh. So, what's new guy's problem?>

*He points at Zeno.*

Ark: <Why do you care, knucklehead?>

"Let go of me, please?"

"Because, you remind me of someone. With my memory returning slowly, day by day, I'm feeling better and less stoic. You're still a monkey" he dodges some lightning, "But I feel like calling you a friend."

Ark: <Make sure you do your best to hide that feeling.>

*He grins, staring at the clouds*

*Ark is blinded by a flash of lightning.*

"Only if you promise to let me do your hair."

*They pass by Rin's travel agency, as well as a rock with a Cactuar drawn on it.*

<Hard to believe we haven't encountered a single Fiend.>

"No."

Ark: <Yeah, it's kind of weird. So, Senthose, you were at Home before going to Luca, right?>

"Don't jinx it."

"Then I'll just have to hold on tight until you let me!"

*True to her words, she squeezes Hitomi more tightly.*

<No. I do most of my business outside of Home, relaying messages & decisions through machina. Why?>

*Hitomi squirms to get away from Luna.*

"Let me go."

Ark: <I just wanted to know how things were going around there. So... we'll be going to Bevelle soon enough, uh?>

"Maybe... who knows?"

"C'mon, pleeeaaaase?"

*Luna shifts her grip lower so Hitomi can't easily wriggle away. They pass a couple more rocks with Cactuar painted on them as they move under a lightning rod.*

<It's doing all right, but my attempts to change the decor keep getting vetoed. As for Bevelle, we're still a ways away. After the Thunder Plains, we have to get through the Macalania area. Which means we'll be needing to stop at the temple to get Luna her next Aeon. And there may still be Abyssal Blade remnants around, so don't drop your guard.>

"No."

*Hitomi wiggles out of Luna's grip.*

Ark: <Yeah, I know there's Macalania Temple first, but it still won't be too long till Bevelle. Hm. Macalania has some nice crystals. I wonder how much they're worth.>

OOC: Nero: <Let's steal the crystal from the tree!>

Zeno: <Bevelle's the last temple before the summoner has to go to Zanarkand, if I remember correctly... But you guys haven't even made it to Macalania yet.>

*He chuckles a bit.*

Ark: <Bevelle is after Macalania. We're close. I know geography. Enough to know that, at least.>

"There are a few other locations we might stop at, but we don't have to...too late, I'm done!"

*After separating the braides with her nails & curling the hair around her fingers, she's somehow made Hitomi's hair long & wavy, but in a way that it falls neatly behind her. She also trimmed her bangs, which were starting to cover her eyes. And with that, she lets go.*

<There are monsters on the horizon. It seems we'll have to fight our way into Macalania.>

"Well... at least we weren't jinxed."

Ark: <I'm ready. Luna, might wanna stop playing hairdresser for a little while.>

*Hitomi pulls chunk of hair forward so she can see it and lets go of it.*
