Heathen Frolic

*Hitomi with her back against the wall sits down and resumes staring at nothing eventually falling asleep.*

*Ark chuckles and heads towards the deck to wait for the Evrae battle.*

<I imagine he doesn't really care. Now just kill the dragon! Hey. You. Wake up. You've got dragons to slay.>

*One of the Al Bhed is nudging Hitomi. Luna heads out to the deck.*

*He carefully walks to the nose of the ship and looks around, looking for the dragon.*

*Hitomi groans and takes her glasses off, rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand before putting them back on.*

*As the airship rises over the city, Evrae blasts past them, the flap of his wing sending a gust of wind onto the deck that almost knocks them over. It spirals in midair, flying back towards them.*

"Is it going to ram us?!"

"Looks that way."

Ark: <Yeah, but we can always try to stop it! Try the new Aeon?>

*Luna raises her spear to the sky. Several glyphs form in the air, which Bahamut crashes through. He rights himself just before hitting the deck & crashes down, causing the whole structure to break violently.*

{Are you trying to break the airship?!}

"Sorry!"

*Bahamut curls his hands into fists, charging orbs of black energy at his hands & wings. Just as Evrae is about to hit them, he hurls them towards it, causing a massive explosion. The dragon falls, smoking, but quickly opens its eyes & rights itself, holding its upper body above the deck & roaring in Hitomi's face.*

*Ark leaps towards its face and drain-slashes at it, swinging his free hand at it at high speed, looking to steal any items it may be holding. After landing, he casts Haste on himself.*

*Hitomi cringes and casts Drain on it.*

*Now sporting some minor burns & scratches, & having lost a Water Gem to Ark, a visibly pissed off Evrae slashes at Bahamut, who dodges by taking a step back. Luna slashes at the dragon, giving it another gash. Bahamut also backhands its face, leaving a thick, bleeding gash.*

*Hitomi backs off some three or so feet and hits Evrae with another drain.*

*Luna begins twirling her spear above her head, slashing the shit out of Evrae's arms & upper body. Finally, she leaps & slashes down over its head, causing Evrae to be pushed away. A light streaks down from the sky & slams into Bahamut's wing, causing a large explosion. The Aeon kneels slightly, clutching its shoulder.*

*Hitomi casts Cura on Bahamut.*

*Ark holds his hand out and clenches his fist, causing seven explosions to occur on Evrae's body in flashes of light.*

*Evrae flies towards them, swerving to the left, & then coming back for another swoop, slashing them all as it resumes its place over the deck. Fortunately, Bahamut takes the hit for them. Unfortunately, he's back in critical condition. He slashes Evrae's face as Luna stabs it in the chest.*

*Hitomi casts Cura on Bahamut again.*

*Ark casts Haste on Bahamut and slashes at Evrae's head.*

*Evrae slashes at Bahamut again, but Bahamut dodges & returns with a slash across the other dragon's chest.*

"He must be after Bahamut because he can't use his more dangerous moves if we're shielded by an Aeon!"

[Stating the obvious is one of the many things a summenor does?]

*Hitomi casts Osmose on Evrae.*

*Ark drain-slashes at Evrae and pickpockets it.*

*Luna & Bahamut attack. As though it's had enough of this bullshit, Evrae roars, surrounding itself in a red aura. He then quickly slashes Bahamut twice, putting the Aeon in critical condition & flying away from the airship. Luna takes the opportunity to surround the party in a similar red glow.*
