Digital Mayhem

*AeroVeedramon shoots a beam at Karatenmon and MagnaAngemon rockets towards the other one aiming to stab it through.*

*Because I grow bored with this it's time for a timeskip. They defeat the two Karatenmon, but due to hunger and the battle, they're forced to land and degenerate.*

~Timeskip to the evening!~

~Timeskip to sometime in the really early morning!~

*It's somewhere between three and four in the morning and everyone is presumably sleeping wherever like they're in some kind of flop house. The thunder and lightning is less frequent, but it's still raining pretty hard.*

*Tae is awake, sitting against some hall's wall and staring at Hawkmon who is sleeping next to him wrapped up in his jacket.*

Tae: <(No one even seems to care...)>

Razz: <Aren't you hungry?>

Allina: <No. Not really.>

*Razz widens his eyes and frowns like "What the fuck?!" and heads back into the cafe. Allina pulls her legs up onto the bench and wraps her arms around them. Inside, Veemon and Patamon stare at Razz from the table.*

Razz: <She doesn't want to eat.>

Veemon: <You're kidding.>

Patamon: <She misses her family. And the others.>

*Euryale exits her room with her legs tightly squeezed together & makes her way down the hall as fast as she can.*

*Taiyo who had been sitting across from Euryale's room had fallen asleep while she was waiting for her to wake up. Her arms are wrapped around herself, she's shivering, and every now and again she mumbles something a long the lines of "Not useless," "I'm sorry," and "Euryale..." During her journey to the bathroom she spots Hitomi who's a pair of combat boots and a dog collar short of being able to pose as the vocalist for a punk rock band who appears to be looking for someone or something. With Euryale making her way down the hall while doing the pee-pee dance she makes sure to stay out of her way.*

*Tae sighs and gets up before walking down the hall.*

*After Euryale returns from the bathroom, she taps on Hitomi's shoulder, staring at her through half-open eyes.*

"Whareyoudoin'?"

"Looking for... Err... Nothing in particular."

[Something tells me she didn't wash her hands.]

*Tae is wandering about, thinking about Allina and Patamon.*

[Maybe if it was me and Hawkmon... no one would care either.]

"Yer lookin' for somsing."

*She pokes Hitomi in the nose.*

"Wuh iz it?"

[Probability of her not having washed her hands: Moderate and rising.]

*Hitomi takes a step back staring at the floor.*

"T... Tae."

"Try lower floor. Or basement."

*She lumbers back into her room. Before she goes back to sleep, she raises the thermostat beside her door.*

"Thank you?"

*Hitomi goes downstairs. Taiyo still mumbles in her sleep every now and again.*

*Tae stops walking for a moment and looks up at the ceiling.*

[Someone's up. I hope it isn't Euryale's mom.]

*He proceeds wandering around.*

[I wish it was Hitomi.]

[He's awake?]

*Standing behind Tae, Hitomi tugs on his sleeve.*

*He widens his eyes in surprise and looks over his shoulder, smiling warmly.*

Tae: <(H-Hitomi! What are you doing up?)>

"Nothing in particular. Why are you still awake?"

Tae: <Honestly, I can't stop thinking about Allina. And Patamon.>

"Okay?"

[That's... I'm not entirely sure.]

Tae: <I always made of fun of her, but she's a good girl. And she's one of us. It kind of upsets me that no one seems to care about her disappearance. I just hope she's all right.>

"What about the black haired boy?"

Tae: <Oh yeah. I don't really know him. Do you?>

"I don't know him by anything other than appearance, so I can't form an opinion of him."

Tae: <It feels bad, hanging around here. I got nothing against Euryale or her... house, but I feel like I should be doing something to find Millenniummon, Allina and Patamon. More actively. Are you sure you weren't wandering around for any particular reason?>

"N... Yes."
