As for plumbing did you know the whole commiting suicide/murder/whatever by throwing a toaster in the bathtub only works if the house has copper pipes?

That is a fact that I just learned. I never knew that, good to know though.

Well, how old is your house? The older the house the better the chance it'll have copper pipes. Also the better the chance it'll have a doorway that can survive an earthquake.
