*Mortal hears a rumbling overhead before the roof caves in. But that isn't as much of a problem as the torrent of molten rock that comes pouring out from where the roof used to be. The door behind her also slams shut.*

*In the R&D building, Urahara was overseeing a large bird cage filled with fire. The albino Soul Reaper was also there.*

???<To think, I'd find not one, but 2 Hollows preparing to attack innocent children, & Arrancars to boot! This is why I've always said that patrol duty was of the utmost importance!>

*A Soul Reaper hops onto the building. He's got slicked-back black hair with a bitch curl & blue eyes. He pulls his Zanpakuto from his sheath & points it at them.*

???<Have at you!>

*Iris stumbles backwards and almost falls off the building before regaining his balance and backing away from both the edge of the building and the Soul Reaper.*

Iris: <Whoa, whoa! Put that thing away, can't we just talk? Surely this is just a misunderstanding!>

*Aera turns around, smirking.*

Aera: <See, Shrodencloud? This is what I mean. We don't even have to look anymore.>

*She reaches for her Zanpakuto's hilt and Sonido's onto the next building, drawing it.*

<You're fast, but it doesn't look as though your friend is!>

*He Shunpos behind Iris, takes his weapon in both hands, & swings at his back.*

"So what is this place Senthose?" Yue asks.

*Mere seconds before the blade reaches him, Iris activates his hierro, preventing him from taking any noticeable damage from the slash, although it teared his black coat a bit. Iris then uses sonido to make his way over to Aera.*

Iris: <Man, that was kinda scary. You're pretty good, you know?>

*A kindhearted grin appears on Iris' face, as if he was glad that the soul reaper had shown up.*

Iris: <But you tore my jacket... man, I really like this one too, you know? Reminds me of those days hiding out in the freezing cold deserts of Hueco Mundo.>

Kira felt slightly taken aback , "Thank you, Lieutenant."

Atsuko looked up at Kira as he turned back to her, still curious as to why he was there.
"4th Seat Chiryo-shi, I hope that you have a speedy recovery," He nodded to her before turning away. "I see great things from you."

*Iris feels the skin rip open where the blade had struck.*

<You're faster than you look. But it wouldn't do good to underestimate me.>

*The Soul Reaper is standing a few feet in front of them when he detonates a red orb, causing the rooftop to be covered in smoke. Next Iris sees & feels yellow beams pierce his arms & stomach, anchoring him on whatever is behind him.*

<Bakudo 30, Shitosu Sansen!>

*He then charges towards Aera.*

*Iris cringes slightly at the wound as he's pinned to a water tank on the building.*

Iris: (Guess I underestimated him... or I overestimated myself. Either way, I'm stuck like this for a bit.)

*Iris lets out a small laugh and watches him go for Aera.*

Iris: <Guess it's up to you now, Aera darling! Get him good for me!>

"Is there a problem with my being here?"

Mortal lets out a long sigh, and tries to open the garganta out of there, while backing away from the magma.

Sab heard what the other hollow said and felt a bit of relief. "At least nothing bad happened... which means I owe you another apology."

Atae bows, and says, "Captain Urahara, may I have a word with you?"

Noctis nodded her head a bit, not wanting to back away from Euryale. Sadly, there was a guest, and it would have been rude to simply ignore her in favor of a hug. As Noct reluctantly eased back from Euryale, she shot Lilith a tentative glance, "Sorry about that Lilith, I didn't expect any of that... Its just, mom issues, nothing you have to worry about."

Aera: <Shut up!>

[Not sure if he's making fun of me or just being his usual annoying self.]

*Aera enters Resurrección, gaining black fox features and her gauntlets. She holds her right arm out, freezing the water in the tank in an attempt to deflect the beams trapping Iris out of it, while awaiting the approaching Soul Reaper.*

*The Soul Reaper happens to spin his sword & stab into her while she was doing nothing to stop him. Glancing at the dissolved Kido, he fires a Byakurai at the water tower, punching a hole in it that causes water to rush out over Iris.*

<Leap, Lancelot!>

*The sword in Aera's gut grows through her as it changes into an obelisk. A trident also grows out of the pommel end, turning it into a dual-sided spear. Finally, a red cape sprouts out of his back.*

*A pillar of white & purple Reitsu explodes off in the distance. The shockwave topples the pillars around the throne. They can also see some of the large sand dunes in the distance deform as all of the sand is first blown away by the blast, then pulled back as if the sand was rushing to fill in a big hole.*

"What was that?!"

<Death's Gorge.>

*Mortal manages to get into the Garganta, but not before being soaked in a fair amount of magma. Also, as it closes, she sees the walls & floor cave in as more magma pours in from the other rooms.*

E"...Well, this looks like something that should be discussed over pancakes."

*Euryale heads for the stove.*

Kira went back to his barracks and began training Kido while breathing in the Hell Miasma.

"Like I was suppose to know you'd build a house in some remote mountains in the middle of nowhere."

Noct looks at Lilith, "You knew he would come? Why, did something happen in Soul Society?" She asked, feeling even better now that Euryale decided to make pancakes.

Mortal used her scales, and a rugido to keep the magma away from her face and torso. Patting away the flames of her clothes, a now scantily clad Mortal begins on her way back to Aroma and Sab.

Sab sat bolt upright, "Mortal!" She was about to flip out when Mortal walked through a garganta behind her.

"Its cool, I'm alright."

"What happened to your clothes?"

"Would you believe I was attacked by a mixture of Ammon, and Senthose using molten rock?"

"Squad 4 is reeling from the last attack. We've lost our medical supplies, and our normal suppliers are hard pressed to help us given Aamon's attack. That is why Squad 4 would like to become self reliant, to prevent something of this nature from happening again. To reach this goal we would like to employ the help of Squad 12 and yourself. If you were able to replicate our medical supplies we would not need to go outside the walls of the Seireitei to acquire the things we need, and it would ensure that the supplies we receive are of high caliber. There is also the matter of the food shortage, I've heard that you were able to create a vast landscape underground complete with its own sunlight. I was wondering if you would be able to construct something for the Seireitei to grow crops. Something with natural lighting, as well as a rain cycle."

"I didn't build an old mansion from the Meiji Era! I told you, I stole it!"

L"Yes. An old Soul Reaper Captain is back from Hell, looking for revenge. Judging from their conversations, she's been trying to get Senthose out of the picture for some time now. We teamed up because it was in our best interests. Well, he made sure it was in our best interest, really. Much like he's been trying to do with you 2."

*Euryale gives everyone a plate with 4 pancakes on it & a glass. She also sets the orange juice & the milk on the table, along with the pancake condiments, & sits down herself.*

*Aroma's nose starts bleeding, so she produces a hankerchief from her spinnerettes & puts it to her nose.*

Urahara<Hmm...I might be able to. But even if I complete it before the Winter War*, would it yield enough in that time? Your division was pretty thoroughly sabotaged.>

"Well its a nice mansion at least... I'm going to go continue training outside unless you have something you need to discuss with me."

"We don't, or at least I don't expect your efforts to yield enough results to sustain us in the short term, but it will be a good thing for the Seireitei to become independent for the future. In the short term I suspect that we'll find a new source of supplies and food, as we will need that to start up the crops, and in-house made supplies anyway." Atae said, "Besides, I believe purchasing supplies from the Rukongai at this point in time is for the best, they could use the business of the Seireitei right now to help their economy. When things are a bit more stable we will taper off and rely more heavily on our own supply."

Mortal smiled coyly, "I said I was attacked by molten rock." She then took Aroma's hand and brushed it lightly over her mid drift, "Do you think you can help me out with a shirt, I seem to be... lacking." As Sab grew red with embarrassment and some anger, Mortal gave her a look and added, "Of course, I need a new pair of pants as well."

Noct let out a small sigh, "Hell, figures, we were attacked here by someone from Hell as well." Noct looked at her plate with a small smile, "Thank you, beautiful." She said, pouring a bit of syrup on hers, and taking a bite. "I can't imagine that is why you don't want to go home though, what is really going on?" Noct then hesitated, "I'm sorry, I don't mean to pry, its just, I don't like seeing a friend upset."

Astarte lifted her arm to her forehead as Death's Gorge was obliterated.
"Wow..." she whispered quietly to herself. "I wonder..."
She lowered her arm and watched the sand fall back towards the epicentre of the explosion with slight interest before turning her brilliant blue eyes to Las Noches.
"I assume they are involved somehow," she mused to herself as she continued her walk. "I wonder if there will be more warring to come with the Shinigami."

Urahara<In the short term, the Rukongai is in far too much dissary. Say! How would you like to go to Hueco Mundo?>

*She also turns bright red as she finishes whiping up her nose & the tissue disappears into a Garganta. Then she starts spinning some silk.*

"So, do you want something summery, or...?"

E"Any time, I just hope you enjoy it--mmm--Sweetie? Um. You too, Lilith. Sorry if we keep making you feel like a 3rd wheel."

*Lilith drops her fork & goes under the table to retrieve it. When she comes back up, she forces a smile.*

L"Sorry about that. Hey, forget the Soul Society, what have things been like around here?"

Kira was still practicing Kido, but was now focusing exclusively on high level Bakudo.
