God Yet Lives

Astarte shrunk back and tensed her body as she saw and heard Mortal notice her presence.
This is odd. They are conversing... I hope the big woman isn't too territorial.

When no one was forthcoming Mortal turned her body towards where she felt the presence. She didn't like that someone wanted to stay hidden, especially when the hell fighters were out there, and on a lesser note, possibly an enterprising hollow with a penchant for being called 'king'. After locking in on the source of the spiritual pressure Mortal began to make her way over. If nothing else, it was smart to know who frequented the area.

"Why is she walking away? Where is she going?" Atae asked, confused.

"Someone's watching us. That's all. She's a big girl. She can handle it."

"Someone is?" Atae focused on searching out spiritual pressures, and lo and behold, she did in fact spot a pressure off in the distance. "There are so many hollows around I guess I got mixed up, and lost one in the white noise."

Astarte was made even more anxious as Mortal approached her. Taking a quick look around, she decided what to do and used her sonido to move to new cover while leaving a speed clone standing in her place.
If she attacks my clone I will run away.

*He drops his spear & holds out his hand. A glyph forms in front of it, causing the spear to re-form at it & shoot at Iris lightning-fast.*

*She goes pale & her eyes widen.*

*Euryale opens the door & walks out of the house as she talks.*

"Not. happening." Yue says sternly.

Mortal felt the shift in place and ignored the clone, "I've killed a man using only my pesquisa to sniff him out. You're going to have to do better than a speed clone to get by me!" Mortal turned and started to head over towards where she now felt the pressure. "Just come on out, I'll even give you the first attack if my life is what you're really after."

"I'm sure it isn't as bad as it sounds." Atae said.

Noct simply smiled, "You don't have to pussyfoot around the word. I'd like to be a mother one day, I certainly know what NOT to do."

*Aera fires another Menos Que Cero at the spear while and ice crystal forms behind the enemy from which an ice clone emerges, punching at his back.*

*Iris uses Sonido to dodge just in case the Cero doesn't manage to stop the spear. He re-appears a few feet away to the right of the Soul Reaper, attempting to run him through with his Zanpakuto.*

*He blocks with his cape & slices the ice, shattering it.*

<Not for Soul Reapers, I do not know how it works for Arrancar. If anyone DOES know, it would be Mortal Dulces or Senthose Rasheverek.>

"And she is off yelling at sand right now." Atae added.

Noct shrugged, "What's the worst that could happen?"

"Considering our zanpakutou are a physical part of us... I'm going to go with yes, its probably painful."

"I'm sure it isn't that bad. Lets wait for Mortal to come back, she'll probably agree." Atae said.

*Iris backflips into the air and punches his left fist forward, a smaller white ball of energy pumping out and heading for the Soul Reaper at a much greater speed than the Cero.*

"I could get pospartem depression & drown our child. Or do only pregnant women get that? I don't know, I'm a geologist, not a psychologist!"

*She takes deep, calming breaths.*

*Senthose is standing in front of the door to a large apartment room when Lilith approaches him.*

S"You're here quicker than I thought."

L"Just to be clear, you're not going to attack this woman, aren't you?"

S"I don't think it would really make a difference if I did."

L"That didn't answer my question."

S"It doesn't matter, just play it by ear."

*He knocks on the door.*

"MORTAL!!" Yue called, "Are you done trying to find another arrancar to skinship grope yet!?"

"Go away."

Noctis smiled a bit, "Calm down Euryale, we don't have a child, so don't go worrying yourself for nothing. If we ever do decide to have a child we'll make sure we're prepared."

S"Madam, I am a lawyer, I'm afraid I have grave news about your daughter that I think I should tell you in person. As in not through a closed door."

"What has that wretched girl done now?" Dawn asked, already growing agitated knowing Noct was somehow involved.

"Assuming you are here to fight, please do me a favor and start with that male arrancar first. His name is Yue, he will not be missed."

Now Mortal was getting insulted, "Continue to talk about me in such a manner and I'll tear your spine out through your neck, and beat whatever is left of you with it until all that remains is dust and blood."

"Awwww. ...Oh, look, we're here."
