Name: First & last.
Appearance: What the character looks like.
Age & Birthday: There will be a 2 year timeskip after a relatively short time in the RP, so keep that in mind.
Social Status: The royal family (fat chance), high aristocracy, low aristocracy, commoner, or clergy. Clergy tend to have the same kind of influence as the aristocracy, but commoners can potentially join the church. Of course, at that point, they are no longer commoners, but you get what I mean. Ivalice is a feudalistic society, so this makes a big difference.
Job: What your main starting job class is/are going to be, which is somewhat related to social status. Special Jobs require special circumstances, so contact me before signing up as one.

Bio: A description of you & your family's past.
Religion & Faith: Religion describes WHAT the character believes, faith is a numerical expression between 20 & 60. The only official religion in Ivalice is the Church of Glabados, a polymorphic monotheism venerating Saint Ajora. The church has the power to police even the most highborn of nobles. The success of casting magic is low if the caster or the target has low faith. This is true of both offensive and defensive spells.
Brave: A numerical expression between 20 & 60. The higher your brave, the better your strength and defense. Additionally, reaction abilities will activate more often.
Other: Miscellaneous information.

~Starting Characters~

Characters do not get starting abilities or equipment. Instead, they will begin at or near a town with the following:

Note 1: Items can only be used if the chemist's "item" command is equipped & the ability is known.
Note 2: In case it isn't clear by now, you use JP to purchase abilities, & Gil to purchase items. JP will be given to every character at the end of a battle or errand, depending on performance. Gil will be awarded to the current party as a whole, who decide amongst themselves how to divide it up.
Note 4: JP can be spent at any time, however the Shop can only be visited at a town. When spending JP, if there's a conflict, use the original amount.

Name: Sorrel Convolt

Bio: Sorrel is the older of two children born to the Convolt family; an upper aristocratic family in the territory of Lesalia. The family exerts heavy influence over trade and commerce making them quite wealthy but not exactly well liked due to their pragmatic tactics. Sorrel himself has tried for several years now to distance he and his ill sister Alicia from the family's reputation to varying degrees of success. His stay Gariland with Alicia is rumored to be the latest tactic of his. With his father recently falling pray to old war wounds and being bed ridden Sorrel's refusal to return home has whipped the rumor mill into a tizzy. Beyond that Sorrel was trained from a young age to become a knight but abandoned the path of "light" so to speak when he found he was ill suited to walk it. Instead he walks the path of the dark knight and flirts with the shortening of his own life. He discovered his talent for putting his own body on the line when he was thirteen but didn't fully convert to this path till two years ago. Even though he has the means and access to his family's wealth he chooses to work as a commoner would helping out at a bakery. He and his sister live in a somewhat modest dwelling despite her mostly half-hearted protests for her brother to upgrade their dwellings to something more fanciful.
Religion & Faith: While he respects the Church of Glabados he doesn't necessarily follow their teachings to the letter. 50

Name: Rhea Gardenia

Job: Summoner
Home: Outskirts of Lesalia/Bervenia.
Bio: Supposedly having been found somewhere in Lesalia as a baby, in a luxurious baby basket, Rhea was taken in by a widow commoner from Bervenia. She became a daughter to the woman and a sister to her only biological child, a boy a year older than Rhea. In an incident as a child, she discovered she had magical powers that allowed her to summon an Esper by the name of Moogle, and as such, was what people called a Summoner. Despite often calling forth Moogle to aid her in several situations, she never did much of anything to increase her power, as she didn't know how to. Over time she grew to consider summoning Moogle just a little trick most other people couldn't do. They lived a poor but happy life until Rhea was about 6 and her brother and then best friend 7, when their mother became ill, and passed away in a matter of months. Homeless and desperate as they were, her brother started travelling up to Lesalia to steal from clueless aristrocrats walking the streets of the royal city. As the years passed, other young thieves joined them, and so their gang was born. They settled in a cave near Bervenia and Lesalia and Rhea cared for her friends, never doing much stealing, and instead managing the stolen goods to care for their home and health, going shopping, preparing meals and what not. As they grew into their teens, Rhea began to try and convince her friends it was time they found a new way to make money more honestly now that they were growing older. Eventually, most of them agreed with her and started calling themselves a gang of headhunters rather than a gang of thieves. They have since been working hard to wash away their old reputation and build a new one from scratch, but with no one hiring them and shortage of food, thievery is once again beginning to be their only means of sustenance. For this reason, while her friends work hard for their goal, she has been attempting to train her summoning skills and even secretly posting notices of her own services as a healing Summoner.
Religion & Faith: Like her mother, she believes in the Church of Glabados, very often praying for her friends. She's always had a bit of an inner struggle trying to convince herself what they were doing couldn't be wrong at the eyes of Saint Ajora because they never did it with bad intentions, but it isn't anything she worries about too much, having learned to accept everything they've been through. 60.

Name: Reiter Tantalus

Job: Onion Knight
Home: Outskirts of Lesalia/Bervenia.
Bio: Reiter was born a mere 3 days prior to his father's death in a suspicious incident he and his mother never knew much about. Soon after this, his mother found an abandoned baby girl during a trip to the royal city of Lesalia, and brought her home to raise her. They grew to be best friends, until one day, their mother became ill and died. When this happened, Reiter was 7 and his sister (a rookie Summoner) 6, and they had no other known family they could turn to. Reiter began to pickpocket from aristocrats in Lesalia to get money to feed himself and his sister. Over the years, other thieves joined them and they formed a gang, with Reiter and the other members going out to steal while his siter stayed in their home, now a cave between Lesalia and Bervenia, to care for it and prepare their meals. When they became teenagers, his sister convinced him and the others to find a more honest way to make money, and so they decided to become mercenaries. Despite their hard work to clear their name as an infamous group of child thieves, no one hires them, and so stealing is once again proving to be their only way of surviving. Most of the members are stealing again for the gang while trying to get hired, Reiter being the only one to still fully keep his promise to his sister to never steal again, and instead working as the "group of mercenaries"' representant.
Religion & Faith: Non-practicant follower of the Church of Glabados, mostly because of his mother and sister. Doesn't put much or any thought into it, and doing so would very likely result in him forgetting this belief altogether. 40.

Other: Both his and his sister's real last name (their father's) are unknown as of their mother's death and the beginning of their life in the streets.

Name: Euryale Rakshashi
Appearance: A 6', dark-skinned, yellow-eyed, shoeless woman with shoulder-length red hair & prodigious mammaries. Wears bracers, pleated skirt, & a vest of thick letter. She is fairly dirty, and her hair is not well-kept.
Age & Birthday: April 21, 19
Social Status: Commoner.
Job: Monk
Home: Itinerant.
Bio: Euryale comes from a village on the northern outskirts of Fovohom. 4 years ago, she decided to go on a religious pilgrimage. Her family acquiesced strangely quickly, getting her started on her monk skills. She didn't give it a second thought as she set out to Duguera Pass. Currently, she's headed through the Beddha Sandwaste on her way to St. Ajora's execution site, in Lionel. Her home town burned down shortly after she left, with only a handful of survivors, a fact she is currently unaware of.
Religion & Faith: Euryale is a follower of the Church of Glabados, emphasizing the multi-deities aspect. As she lived on the far reaches of the kingdom, she isn't familiar with church dogma, & could be described as moderate. She has a faith of 60.

Other: Wishes she could raise enough money to buy a decent dress, for when she's in town.

Name: Seraph
Appearance: Seraph is an older man with blue eyes & unkept, gray hair. He wears black Mage Robes, complete with hat, & a hood made out of the mouth of a Red Dragon he killed once.

Social Status: Ex-clergy, commoner
Job: Black Mage.
Home: Itinerant.
Bio: Seraph was given his name by the church, when he was found abandoned on their doorstep. When it was found that he had a talent for magic, they put him through the Gariland Academy. Upon with graduating, he was an apprentice to Elidibus for a short time before his disappearance, helping in a few key battles of the 50 Years War. Unfortunately for him, he came down with a touch of the madness at age 50. Unwilling to have their reputation stained, the church covered up most of his achievements & made a failed assassination attempt a few years later. That really only made him worse. He now lives in the wilderness somewhere.
Religion & Faith: Seraph used to be a devout follower of the Church of Glabados, but after they tried to kill him, he took a different approach. According to him, the mistake of most faiths is that they try to impose a supernatural order on the world, when there's actually a supernatural disorder to it. A god of chaos, if you will. 60.

Name: Astarte Cyprus.
Appearance: Astarte is a small woman (around 165cm tall and weighing 50kg) with waist length brown hair and brilliant blue eyes.
She wears a very tight, bright blue dress/top that coveres her neck, check, stomach, pelvis and thighs but does not cover her arms.
Age & Birthday: 19yoa, born on the 3rd of March.
Social Status: Low aristocracy.
Job: Mystic.
Home: Lesalia Imperial Capitol.
Bio: Astarte was born to the Cyprus household. Growing up, Astarte was always second to her brother, Enkidu. Enkidu despised her and she despised him. This caused their mother great distress, but their father hardly cared. As long as Enkidu, the next head of the Cyprus family, was happy his father was happy.
Determined to make her father notice her, Astarte attempted to learn the basics of politics, swordsmanship and refused to wear the ancient dresses her mother hassled her with. Sadly, this was almost all for naught. She couldn't get her head around politics, she was consistantly defeated by most opponents in a sparring match and she found herself becoming more and more attracted to womens fashion as she aged.
When her mother and father began discussing who to marry her to, she was enraged. She had no desire to marry a member of the aristocracy like her father or older brother, and wanted to do something interesting with her life. At age 16, she took to locking herself in her chambers with books and scrolls that she would study for hours without break.
This is how she discovered her passion for Mysticism.
Religion & Faith: Astarte is a follower of the Church of Glabados. While she is not publically passionate about her beliefs and will not seek to force the dogma of her faith down the throats of others, she devotes her body and soul to it's values and teachings. She has a faith of 60.

Name: Roatha Arelaz.
Appearance: Roatha wears plain, brown cloth clothes & gloves, as well as a red cloak. He has unkept, brown hair, & green eyes.

Job: Onion Knight.
Home: Dorter.
Bio: Roatha's father was a tailor. When Romanda invaded during the 50 Years War & disrupted his businss, he joined a company of commoner soldiers. When the war ended, this group was discharged without compensation, & many of them refused to trade in their arms, forming a rebel group known as the Corpse Bregade. Roatha's father was one of these men. Roatha became a mercenary, believing he could show him a better way to solve Ivalice's problems than revolution. Only one problem--no one has hired him yet.
Religion & Faith: Roatha is a follower of the Church of Glabados, but he doesn't give it very much thought. 50.

Name: Azuma Huraka
Appearance: Stands 6'2", average build, fair skin, short brunette hair, and green eyes. Wears a plain white shirt, black pants and roadworn boots that may have been dark brown at one point in time.

Home: Trade City of Sal Ghidos
Bio: His family started out as a small merchant family that made its fortune through trading with Ordalia, but once trading with Ordalia stopped they stopped moving up in the world and faded in obscurity.

Some few years later his parents died due to illness leaving him and his older brother Kentaro as the last of the family. One month after his eighteenth birthday, Kentaro came to Azuma and said "You're a man now, Azuma. So I'm going to go to Goug to live out my dream of becoming a machinist. Also I met someone from there and we hit it off. She's a nice girl, kinda shy, but once you get to know her it's like she's a different person. So assuming I haven't destroyed what little dignity we have left, try to keep it intact. And don't forget anything I've told you." And with that he left.
Religion & Faith: Much like Taiyo he's got his own set of beliefs, but he's uch less dedicated to them as he's not too sure what they are. 40

Name: Mimiru Tugai
Appearance: Stands 5'4", fair skin, shoulder length brunette hair, and brown eyes. Wears a sleeveless black shirt, black pants, white wool fingerless gloves, and a pair of boots that may have been black at one point in time, but look more grey than anything.

Home: Trade City of Sal Ghidos
Bio: A war orphan who would regularily get into fights for the enjoyment of it, but got into fights more frequently after her family died for roughly the same reasons, but also to try and forget that she's alone. One day she met Azuma when she bumped into him on the street and began a confrontation which later attracted attention from the street patrol and local merchants. Azuma grabbed her hand and the two ran off eventually hiding out at Azuma's place of residence. When she asked why he didn't just pin all the blame on her and instead helped her he just said "You don't need a reason to help people."

What she thought would be a one time thing turned into an odd friendship as while the two are seldom apart they're usually bickering.

Mimiru met Taiyo while the latter had her back against the wall and a thief attempting to rob her. Mimiru attacked and beat up the thief and since then Taiyo had been tagging along. Azuma had thought Mimiru was being followed by a cat till' it turned out to be a person.
Religion & Faith: Doesn't give a damn about the church or its teachings. Believes that if the Gods are real she'd rather fight then worship them. 20.

Name: Taiyo Shikasu
Appearance: Stands 5'6" tall, slender frame, fair skin, long brunette hair tied into pig tails, green eyes, and a plain black leather collar around her neck with a bluish-silver bell on it. Wears a light pink top that essentially amounts to a wide strip of fabric wrapped around her chest and tied into a bow at the front and a darker shade of pink ankle high skirt. On her feet she wears black open toed shoes.

Home: Trade City of Sal Ghidos
Bio: A war orphan much like Mimiru, but unlike Mimiru, Taiyo did nothing to try and forget what had happened and instead moped living in her families dingy three room house. One day a travelling group of street performers came into town and Taiyo was quite fascinated with the dancers and during their stay they had taught her to dance. Some had hoped to try and make her less of a wimp as a bard had said, but it didn't work out as she'd rather not fight at all.

Her lack of desire to fight made her an easy target for a thief who attemped to rob her and possibly would have succeeded had Mimiru not been in the area and gave him a sound thrashing. Ever so grateful she had begun to tagalong with Mimiru meeting Azuma the same day who refered to her as a cat.

During their last day in the city, the performers offered Taiyo a chance to join their troupe, but she declined as at the time she had met Mimiru and Azuma and wanted to stay with them.
Religion & Faith: She believes in something. Not neccisarily the teachings of the Church of Glabados, but it's still something. 50

Name: Zac Talea.

Appearance: Stands at 6' flat, with the thin, yet muscular, build of a runner. Has an olive complexion, as much a side effect of the sun as genes. His hair reaches between his shoulder blades. It is silk smooth, and kept tied in a ponytail by a small red ribbon. His eyes are the same dark brown as his hair. He also wears a pair of glasses, though he does not need them to see.

Age & Birthday: 25 (Post-time skip), June 8th.

Social Status: Low aristocracy.

Job: Sky Pirate.

Home: Goug Machine City.

Bio: Zac is the eldest son of Divum Talea, a thane of Lesalia, and head of House Talea. Since birth Zac has known nothing but a life of ease. His father provided Zac with a life that was meant to groom him for his future as head of the House. He was well educated, received all of his father's attention, and all around just got the things he desired, including the local girls. Zac was spoiled, and his confidence in himself was extreme, bordering on arrogant, but he had people to keep him in check, namely his sister and his best friend.
At around the age of twenty Zac vanished along with his best friend, Iliad, to help him in his search for his mother's killer. This infuriated his father who blocked his exit, and told Zac to return to the life he was leading. Zac refused, quoting the Talea family motto, "Loyalty is honor; Honor above all". If he couldn't even help his friend, Zac reasoned, then he had no honor. From that day Zac was stricken from the House Talea, and moved with around with Iliad across Ivalice on a journey that would land Zac in Goug City, living as a Sky Pirate. Or at least he would, once he had access to the skies.

Religion & Faith: Atheistic, 20.

Name: Noctis Talea.

Appearance: Stands at 5'4'', with the small, yet firm, and toned body of a dancer. Noctis has fairly pale skin, a point of contention with her, especially when brought up by her brother. Her hair is just longer than chin length in the front, and slightly shorter in the back, and black as night. Her eyes are such a dark shade of brown that they look almost black.

Social Status: Low aristocracy.

Job: Dancer.

Home: Lesalia Imperial Capitol.

Bio: The youngest of the House Talia, as well as its only daughter, Noctis was raised in her brother's shadow for most of her childhood. While Zac was groomed for responsibility and leadership, Noct was groomed for grace, and domestication. She was given the same education as Zac, the same attention, but not the same respect. Zac was the heir, and she was his sister.
While she did grow a bit of jealousy towards her brother she soon tapered away from the feeling, it was just hard to dislike him for being born first. It was not his fault, nor was he doing anything to actively impose his dominance over her. In fact, it was him who had got their parents to give her dancing lessons after she had made an offhand comment about it to him. By their early teenage years they were all but inseparable.
When Noctis first came to her mother to discuss her budding feelings for her dance instructor she simply laughed away the notion, calling it a young girl's crush. When her mother found out the instructor was a lithe, young woman she actively began to work to arrange her daughter with different boys. This soon drove Noctis into reclusiveness, with her brother and close friend being her only support group.
The three of them began to appear together more and more until it became a simple assumption that Noctis and Iliad had become an item, with Zac playing the role of a doting brother, and thoughtful matchmaker. The assumption worked in everyone's benefit, it gave Noctis a cover to live how she wanted, Zac was seen as preforming another selfless deed for the House Talea, and Iliad was allowed unfettered access to his two best friends. The promiscuity of the three of them had become their little joke.
When Iliad and Zac both left it had tore through her life with the savagery of an angry dragon. Gone was any support, as well as her cover. Within days Noct was being tossed around different parties, and events, like a mare being shopped around for a steed. She didn't have the luxury Zac did, total faith in character from their parents. Divum saw leaving the House Talea to Noctis as a sure fire way to weaken it, so he sought to marry her off to a higher noble, one who would bring dignity to the House. After years of turning away suitors, Noctis finally realized what she had to do. She had to fix her family with her own two hands by dragging Zac back from wherever he was, and mending the relationship between him and their father. Only then would things go back to normal. She just needed to find a way to leave.

Religion & Faith: Noctis was raised on the Church of Glabados, but doesn't take gospel at face value. She can't quite deny the Church's teaching outright, like her brother can, but she is less religious and more academic when it comes to their dogma, 30.

Name: Mortal Talea.

Appearance: Mortal has milky skin, and hair, which is usually kept in a ponytail, with loose bangs. Her eyes are an icy blue. Though she stands at about 6' flat, Mortal has a clearly feminine body. She has a small vertical scar over her left eye, going through her eyebrow, and a cross shaped scar along the same line just under her eye.

Social Status: Low aristocracy.

Job: Dragonkin/ Knight.

Home: Lesalia Imperial Capitol.

Bio: Mortal started off life as a simple dragon, roaming the Beddha Sandwaste, but after a chance encounter she was turned human. More on that later!

Religion & Faith: Mortal had no concept of religion before becoming human, but after her initial introduction she has found herself heavily drawn to the Church's dogma. At its core the religion is a ground work on how to be a good person, whether it is flawed or not, that is what Mortal needs, 60.

Other: She will, somewhere over the course of the RP, literally eat someone.

Name: Iliad Bell.

Appearance: Iliad has a short stature of about 5'7'', but a well toned body. His hair is straight and platinum blonde, and reaches down to the middle of his back. His eyes are a cool seafoam green.

Age & Birthday: 25 (Post-time skip), September 28.

Social Status: High aristocracy.

Job: Thief.

Home: Goug Machine City.

Bio: Iliad wasn't what most would call a troubled boy, in fact his childhood bordered on the damn near perfect. He was brought up in a well-to-do family, House Bell of Lesalia. His father, Zellan Bell, was a wealthy merchant, who moved up from buying and selling items, to buying and selling entire businesses. This had allowed himself to rise through the social ladder so that by his later years House Bell was synonymous with high nobility in Lesalia, or, at the very least, wealth.
Iliad's father provided him with a very rich life. He received the best education money could buy, and tutors in whatever trade Iliad took a fancy to. It was his mother, however, that made his life a joy. Where his father played the role of business man, his mother played the role of caretaker. It was her ability to nurture that had grew Iliad into the man his father was proud of. Iliad's life was fine for many years, having made the best of friends with the children of House Talia, and becoming quite the social butterfly. Things would soon change, however, as they often do.
With his father away on a business trip, Iliad left home early one morning to shoot the breeze with Zac. It was no secret that the two of them were being groomed to reign over their respective Houses, and this gave the two a lot to talk about. Later on in the evening when Iliad had returned home he found his mother, dead in her bed. She was stabbed in the back, the knife still upright in her. Her blood was still warm as it pooled on the bed.
The next few weeks were a blur of accusations, investigations, anger, and sadness. Quickly though, it had begun to seem that the investigation would never reach a conclusion. House Bell simply had too many enemies, too many people that would be willing to hire an assassin to eliminate them while they slept, luckily for the men of House Bell, they were not asleep at home that day. As the official investigation began to wind down Iliad began to form his own theories as to who may have sought to harm his family.
Finally, Iliad decided he could do no more as the heir to a House, and made plans to leave Lesalia, and search for his mother's killer personally. He had not expected Zac to join him on this quest when he asked Zac to deliver a letter to his father, explaining why he was leaving. He couldn't deny that he was happy for the company however. For years now the two of them have been living as thieves, and crooks... a pira-- 'Sky' pirate in Zac's case, following any leads that they come across that may lead them to finding his mother's killer, and through him, his employer. The latest of these leads has led the duo to Goug Machine City.

Religion & Faith: Before his mother's death Iliad had religious views that were akin to those of Noctis. Having been raised on the dogma made it hard to not have it in the back of one's mind, no matter how objective one tried to remain about it. After his mother's death Iliad found solace in the gospel, particularly the parts about a God striking down with angry vengeance. That was a God Iliad could believe in, 60.

Name: Sab Rosa.

Appearance: Standing at all of 4'10'', with limbs like twigs, Sab isn't the most intimidating presence. Her incredibly pale skin also does little more than make her look sick. Her eyes are a pale shade of amber, looking almost like a pale gold. Her hair is pale blonde, and cut in a simple bob that has her hair ever so slightly longer at the sides.

Bio: The Psyches are a family of doctors in the service of the Marquis de Limberry. Lilith, having proved to be a skilled chemist, but not much else, joined the Order of the Southern Sky. She served during the end of the 50 Years War. Trying to gain a position as the Marquis's retainer, she decided to set out on a mission to capture a Corpse Brigade general working against Fort Besselat. This being a solo off-the-books mission that has soaked up much of its funding, she'll either have to enlist help or turn back soon.

They were the first two of several children to join the siblings in the cavern, and Parker soon showed to be one of if not the most skilled thief in the gang, often competing with Reiter.
