I recommend doing a separate post for each character.

ADDENDUM: So, I'm noticing a lot of people are having trouble with the Action Abilities. Think of it like like this: The set (say, Black Magicks) is like a gun, the individual abilities (Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, etc.) are like its bullets. You equip the gun, & load it with bullets. The gun itself can have no bullets, 1, or several, but you don't "equip" the bullets, you just add them into the gun when you get them. This is in contrast to the other categories, in which you can only have a single ability equipped on that slot.

ADDENDUM 2: Another question I've got a lot is whether or not you can buy abilities from any class. There is no Job Tree, you can change into any class or buy any ability at any time, outside of a battle.

~Stats~

Gil: Current Gil. Note that Gil & equipment CAN be traded between characters & equipment/items can be sold back for HALF of their original worth.
JP: Current JP. Note that JP & abilities CANNOT be traded between characters or "sold back."
Brave: Current Brave. Can be influenced by certain abilities, as well as raised or lowered by events. You control the character's reactions, but not how much it raises or lowers brave.
Faith: Current Faith. Behaves in much the same way as Brave.

~Equipment~

Right Arm: Can be a shield or weapon. It is recommended to put the strongest weapon in your dominant hand.
Left Arm: Can be a shield or weapon. Some weapons are two-handed.
Head: Helmets, hats, & other headgear.
Body: Body armor, robes, & the like.
Accessory: Includes footwear, rings, mantles, etc. Note that only 1 item can go in each area.

~Abilities~

Action 1: The set of action abilities of the job you are currently in.
Action 2: Another set of action abilities you assign from one of the other various jobs you know.
Support: Passive abilities such as the ability to equip swords even when not a sword-using class. Pick 1 from any job you know.
Reaction: Movement abilities triggered by an outside influence, usually an attack. Might not activate if Brave is low. Pick 1 from any job you know.
Movement: Abilities that affect movement. Pick 1 from any job you know.
