"So, I've been thinking: This might be the last day a lot of us have to...exist, I suppose. So I've arranged a little team bonding exercise, of sorts. We're just going to go around the table & voice that nagging feeling. I'll go first: Everyone on the invasion team, present or not at the moment, has been selected because I have the utmost respect for their capabilities. I'd much rather have a climactic battle with you than that mess of an Arrancar army I put together with Aamon."

Iris: <Can't say I'm looking forward to this whole thing going on tomorrow, though.>

Enkidu turned back to Iris and Aera and tossed Iris the vial of miasma before standing up to his full height.
"If you want power you'll have to share that between you- I don't know if it will give you a second release form as it did for me, but it will grant you more power," Enkidu spoke to both of them in his most serious tone. "I also need to be sure that I can trust you to fight by my side against the foul Soul Reapers. I have given you this opportunity to gain great power and I hope you return the favour by helping me to the best of your ability."

Astarte joined the rest of them at the table but didn't go for any food.

Mortal looked shocked, "I feel like this is the first compliment I've ever gotten from you that wasn't biting, or backhanded."

Noct blushes, and deepens her scowl slightly, but doesn't do much else.

E"Is something wrong?"

*Aroma raises her hand.*

A"I have one. Ever since I became a Hollow, I never imagined I'd have a family ever again. You've all made me feel loved, particularly Mortal & Sab. Thank you."

"No," Noct reluctantly answers.

Both hug, and kiss Aroma.

Mortal looks around the table, "So, anyone else? Lilith?"

L"I have to admit...it still feels strange to be hanging out with Hollows like it's completely normal. Not that I mind, though. Also...is it just me, or am I the only virgin on the team?"

E"Are you sure? You don't sound sure. You can tell me if something is wrong, you know."

"No you're not," Astarte shook her head before dropping her gaze to the table and blushing slightly. "And... to be honest, as a Hollow I never thought I would ever feel human pleasures again. I thought life was solely about survival, but..."
Astarte lifted her gaze and smiled, "Since I decided to help you all I have learnt that a Hollow like me can live just as happily as anybody else... enjoy friendship, humour and love... I want to protect what you all have and what you share with me... I'd die for that.."
Astarte's face was now close to the red of a tomato and she looked back down to her feet.

*Aroma gives her kind of a side hug.*

L"Well, hopefully, no one is going to die."

Kira whips a Cero into Noah's abdomen, pulls the zanpakuto out of his mask with one hand and uses another to cast Kuyo Shibari on him.
With his other two hands he grabs the chain and releases a pair of Cero into it.

"Well... you guys don't have to stay virgins," Mortal said. Sab kind of nudged her with her elbow, "I'm just saying..."

"I'm fine," Noct said, leaning into Euryale slightly.

*The Hollow grabs his tail with its own hands, ignoring the broken chain. Grabbing Noah's Zanpakuto proves to be a poor decision, as the vibrating blade quickly reduces his hand to a shredded stump. Noah smacks his other hand away, then begins charging a Sokatsui. The ring of feathers around them has completely reformed.*

*Euryale puts her arms around Noctis's waist.*

"Okay. Just checking."

Noct just smiles.

Mortal nodded, "I know, but there are people here equipped with the parts you like."

*She looks around at those assembled in front of her.*

L"Who?"

*Behind her, Senthose rolls his eyes.*

E"Hey, we should go to an aquarium. I'll bet they'll have dolphins, and sharks, and octo...manatees."

"Octo-manatees?"

Mortal laughs and points to Senthose. Sab elbows her again, "This is for bonding. You're literally pointing and laughing."

*As Lilith starts to turn, Senthose crosses to her other side, putting his elbows on the table & steepling his hands.*

"Yes, & I don't believe the two of you have shared anything yet. You aren't hiding anything, are you?"
