| I would like to share my correspondences with Pearson Education, the company that hosts the website where my math class's materials can be found: - Quote :

I'm working on Math 26 in MyMathLab on Internet Explorer, but lately, the assignments have stopped opening. When I click on a question, the page that opens stays largely blank & never loads. This has been going on for a few days now. - Quote :

- Dear Competent Company,
Thank you for your speedy reply. When I sent that E-mail 4 days ago, I was really expecting it to come tomorrow. Thank you also for the helpful advice, but I regret to inform you that I already checked the FAQ, I do not have a question about how to use the program, I was not getting an error message, & I did not change my browser settings before having the issue. I E-mailed the site because none of those things applied to me, & as I said then, the assignments had stopped loading. However, it now occurs to me that contacting the site directly does not necessarily imply that I either need or want personal help. That was my bad, I should have explained more clearly. But the problem resolved itself as of 30 minutes prior to the due date of the assignment I had been working on, & because of that, I earned a solid 46%. I appreciate your assistance in this matter. I honestly could not have done it without you. And I actually like this service. Woe unto the Customer Support of ALEKS if they ever fail me.

| It wasn't the fact that the thing screwed up or that it took them 4 fucking DAYS to get back to me that really pissed me off. It was that, after all of that, they just sent me the Generic Help Bullshit E-mail.
You're busy. Swell. Whatever. I'm busy too. Let's throw a goddamn party to get to know each other & other busy people if we ever find the time. But you know what this experience taught me? Screw making sure I have a valid problem & aren't wasting anyone's time, if I want whatever it is fixed before I fail, I have to E-mail them at the first sign of difficulty.
