Vanessa<Then you spread vicious lies about how I'M the dangerous one. And it looks like you beat down another peasant recently. What is she, your loom-worker?>

"How did you know I beat--" Mortal furrowed her brow, "Just, be quiet!"

Zac reacts to the charge by shooting another barrage into it, and backing away from the beast.

Parker: <What...?>

[Parker: <Okay, who are they and what did you do to make them mad?>

Roatha: <I don't even know why they're fighting on me! They know my dad!>]

*Parker widens her eyes and abruptly steps forward.*

Parker: <You're that guy from 2 years ago!>

Reiter: <You know this guy?>

Parker: <I told you guys. I helped him rescue a girl and then he took off to make sure his dad was safe or something, at Fort Ziekden. Before I met up with you here.>

Rhea: <Oh, I remember that.>

Parker: <I think we should help him. He's not a bad guy. Or he wasn't back then, anyway. Roatha, right? What do you need our help with?>

Vanessa<You cannot silence me, highborn scum. Nor can you pass. I'm to blockade this route, under orders from Ser Wiegraf.>

*He soon finds his back pressed against the mountainside, with the beast only a few feet away. Though it's wounded, the other dragon breathes a gale of ice on it, which seems to cause its scales to grow over the bulletholes. Lilith steps forward & swings her sword, sending ghosts tearing through them.*

R"Oh yeah...I kind of remember someone else was there now."

S"It's a meeting of fate! Young love cannot be kept contained by the winds of time!"

R"Shut up. I'm looking to find the guy who's impersonating me & kick his ass. He's probably somewhere in East Ivalice, but I just found out about this recently, while travelling back to Dorter."

Zac fires an Arm Shot at the beast.

"Highborn?" Iliad looked at Mortal and Euryale, then back to Vanessa, "You must really not know who you are talking to. Only myself and Noctis have highborn blood. Mortal was brought up from nothing, I thought as much was apparent in Lesalia."

"I doubt that is the point she is trying to make," Mortal said, "As for you, Vanessa, you cannot hope to stop us. One on one, I am the better. With my sister, and Euryale we bested two of your squads. With five of us you stand no chance, now just get out of the way."

Vanessa<Adopted or trueborn, it makes no difference. The mark of the noble is how readily she attempts to bully others she deems inferior to her into submission. Though I suppose I should have some sympathy. After all, I know what happened to the last pesant girl adopted to a Noble House.>

*After being shot in the arm, the dragon's jaw cramps for some reason. The other closes the remaining distance between itself & Zac in a few bounds & blasts him with ice. The disabled dragon runs downhill.*

Reiter: <What's in it for us?>

Parker: <Pfft, shut up, tough guy.>

Reiter: <Well fine, I admit that sounds fun.>

Parker: <Rhea?>

*Rhea smiles and nods.*

Parker: <And we said we needed a plan. The plan found us! Okay guys, this is Roatha. And these are Reiter and Rhea. We'll help you.>

Reiter: <Do we have to bring the angry old guy?>

"But I do not bully anyone into submission! Stop spewing lies to suit your false truths!" Mortal responded.

Sab stayed quiet.

Zac splits the damage with the dragon that hit him, and chases after the fleeing one, shooting a barrage at it.

R"In the sense that I keep trying to get rid of him & nothing works, yes. This is Seraph. Like we said earlier, he was in the 50 Years War, and was also in the Knights Templar. Apparently, the church tried to kill him, but as you can see, it didn't work."

Vanessa<Do you know about the Hyrals? Probably not. They were adopted by House Beoulve after their parents died of the Plague. The girl, Tietra was kidnapped by rogue Corpse Brigade troops. Of course, that didn't matter to the Beoulve brothers. Why should it have? Whether you're a Brigade loyalist, a Brigade traitor, or a kidnapped child, a commoner is still a commoner.>

*She mimes a crossbow-firingshooting motion at Mortal.*

Vanessa<First Tietra, then Gragoroth behind her. The poor fool must have had no idea she wasn't a real Beoulve. The brother died fighting back, probably killed by Ramza himself. Let that be a lesson to you, Mortal "Talea.">

Parker: <So he's like an angry ninja cockroach.>

Reiter: <Right. Anyway, what's your plan?>

Mortal was pretty much put in her place, right and proper, so she shut up, though she still looked angry.

"That isn't true," Noctis said, "You cannot type cast based on one event. The Beoulve's are a right bunch of asshole's if that is how they act, but that isn't how I act. My family is my family by bond, not blood."

"Besides, Ramza wouldn't do such a thing," Sab said, "He risked his life to help a lone wanderer in the desert fend off a herd of behemoths by himself."

*The dragon runs around the mountain, roaring angrily at him before it disappears from view. Lilith is stabbing the other dragon when it finally gets fed up with her shit & bites her arm with a sickening crunching noise.*

Reiter: <Sounds good. We're ready when you are.>

"Tell me, did that scar make you blind as well as ugly, or were you not there to see that I've fought along side my sister? I've more than proven our bond's strength. You can continue down your path of thinking, flawed as it may be, but don't accuse me of things that are not true," Noct began walking forward, "Now quieten yourself. We're making our way through here. Leave or stay, it matters not which you choose."

Zac turns back around and fires a barrage at the other dragon, "Lilith, are you alright?"

*Vanessa whistles. Several troops in Gryphon Knight uniforms file around on either side of the tree. To (her) right is a male Samurai & a female Knight with a male Summoner behind them. On her left is a female Dragoon and a male Geomancer with a female Summoner behind them.*

Vanessa<Kill or rout them all, and for Ajora's sake, don't set off the traps we placed. Oh, and as for you....>

*She punches Noctis in the face, knocking her on her ass.*

Vanessa<Don't talk down to me, you highborn harlot.>

*The dragon slumps over, letting out a strangled roar before it dies.*

*While they're travelling through the mountains, they are surrounded on all sides by Chocobo-mounted Southern Sky Knights. There is a slight gap, through which an older knight in blue armor a plain brown cape rides through. The sword at his side looks big enough to be a legal citizen.*

Noct held a hand over her mouth, and probed her the inside of her lips with her tongue for a cut. She frowned when she found she was bleeding. "Fucking bitch..." With that, she flew backwards, landing behind the group, and began to dance a Forbidden Dance.

Iliad throws a fire bomb at the samurai.

Sab casts Haste on the group, since they were all close together.

Mortal heads straight for Vanessa, aiming to slash her twice with Rend Speed.

Zac shrugged, "No worse for wear. Is your arm alright?" He asked, moving closer.

Parker: <That's one intimidating guy.>

*Reiter leans over to whisper to Roatha.*

Knight<Ser, he looks like the one from those wanted posters.>

*Seraph is muttering some spell under his breath, so Roatha trips him.*

*Vanessa dodges the first strike, but is hit by the second. She slips behind Mortal & slashes her twice.*

E"Some of these troops look like they have really expensive equipment. Are you running out of ex-Brigade knights?"

Vanessa<That is none of your business!>

*Ignoring the fact that he was just attacked, the Samurai moves closer to Vanessa & uses Kiyomori. The Summoner begins summoning, & moves back a ways, while the Knight charges right at Illiad. On the other side, the Summoner begins charging a spell, while the Dragoon begins to flank Mortal & the Geomancer stays put.*

L"It was a pretty bad wound, but I'll live, if that is all that is to be had from this battle."

"I'm glad you'll live, but perhaps you should get your arm looked at by a doctor," Zac said, "I heard the crunch from over there."

Mortal spins on Vanessa with a counter attack, slashing twice, then two more slices of her own. "I've had enough of you, Vanessa. I used to feel sympathy for you, but now there is only anger in my heart for you."

Sab began charging a graviga, aiming it at the summoner.

Noct kept dancing, and Iliad moves away from the knight, throwing a fire bomb at his ass.

*This proves to be a slight problem when a green lizard floats down from the sky. It emits a red light from a ruby in its head, covering Vanessa, the Geomancer, the Dragoon, & the Summoner with a Reflect spell. Vanessa is scraped twice & pulls back.*

Vanessa<Good! Excellent! I hardly desire the pity of some knave playing at high society! Now, let's see if I can give you a few more blemishes, repay you for my makeover.>

*She then produces a shuriken, which she throws at Mortal's face. The knight, SHE ignores the bomb & keeps running. Euryale ignores all of this shit, heading for Mortal, who in addition to having shit thrown at her, is having a spear thrust at her back, & an Asura drawn & pointed at the sky near her. *

"I'll be fine, I assure you. We can't afford to loiter."

"I won't argue the point," Zac said, with a shrug, "You know what is best for yourself."

Iliad puts his hands up, and uses steal heart, "Hey, listen, we really shouldn't be fighting each other. We could be happy together if you would only help me out here."

Mortal responds to all this shit by wheeling on the Dragoon with a counter attack, then firing off Holy Breath at the Samurai.

Sab stops her spell half-way through, and begins to use Immobilize on the samurai.

*The Dragoon is too far away. Holy Breath strikes kind of haphazardly, but eventually hits the Samurai & blows him back. Soon afterwards, he is Immobilized.*

Knight<Fuck off, Romeo.>

*She swings at him. Euryale swings a fist at Vanessa as she's running, knocking her back. The hit turns her invisible, & Euryale stands behind Mortal.*

E"Are you okay?"

*Lilith hands off her orders to a knight inside the castle.*

<And what's HE doing here? What's wrong with you? He isn't part of the Order!>

Familiar voice<Leave it. And leave us be.>

<...Yes, Ser Delita!>

*The knight scrambles to leave as Alph enters the room, now sporting a gaudy ass white cape with a high collar to go with his gaudy ass gold armor.*

The battle is won:

Reiter: <Oh. Shit is right, then.>

Rhea: <Hum... we've been getting that a lot. This is my cousin Schultz...en...finkel. He's really sweet, but hum-->

Parker: <He's missing some screws in the dome, if you know what I mean.>

*Parker points at Roatha's head as she speaks.*

Parker: <Poor thing's been getting so confused hearing people mistake him for that wanted guy. He's restless, restless... tsk, tsk.>

Reiter: <Oh man. I mean, now he's going to be up all night, doing that really loud drunk cow imitation he always does when he's scared.>

Rhea: <Please sir, would you be so kind as to let us through? He gets even worse during the nights an-->

Parker: <It's really sad. Our uncle had a nervous breakdown last time that happened. He still hasn't recovered.>

*She points at Seraph.*

Iliad tries again, "There is no need for such talk. Honestly, do you want to fight me? I know I don't want to fight you."

Mortal nods, "I am quite alright. I'm just a little, on edge." She then moves closer to the Samurai, so she can double slash his ass.

Sab uses immobilize on the dragoon.

Noct is dancing.

"Alph, how good to see you again," Zac said, folding his arms, not really surprised that the seemingly random guy wound up being someone of importance, "Or should I say Ser Delita? I'm not exactly sure who you are."

Clyde: <I see. So, when does this process begin, then?>
