*The samurai heals the archer once more before heading off Roatha's charge, grabbing the first attack & blocking the second with a shield. The archer retreats, using a Phoenix Down on the summoner. The summoner begins to charge a spell. Meanwhile, Lilith & Grimms are still going mano-a-womano. Lilith grabs his spear attack & slices him across the face. She's then hit in the arm with a glancing blow from a morning star.*

*Ramza holds out his hand.*

Noct switches to a Slow Dance, not noticing Mortal, collapsed in knee high swamp water.

Archer<I'm sure you feel like a big man for shooting a corpse 3 times, but....>

*He uses a second Phoenix Down, then retreats across the falls. Roatha has yet to land a blow on the samurai. The summoner, of course, begins charging a spell & retreats. Lilith slashes Grimms a few more times, but retreats as she's now taken 2 additional spear wounds & a heavy hit to the shoulder from that mace.*

Grimms<Why don't we end this charade, little girl? I'm stronger, faster, better armed, & better armored than you. You won't have to worry about the Glabados Church once you're gone, I'll put your information to good use.>

"You keep referencing leads, what exactly are you trying to find?"

"Someone killed my mother a few years ago. I've spent the same amount of time seeking revenge, and now it appears like I'll finally see things through..."

"I apologize for your loss, but don't you think years of plotting revenge to be unhealthy?"

"I took inspiration from Ajora. Death must be answered with revenge."

"Death should be answered with justice, and I feel the two don't always line up."

*And now Mortal is dyin'. Euryale manages to destroy the Undead with a Pummel, then grabs the crystal, fully restoring her health. Unfortunately, the second Undead gets back up, though it looks a little worse for the wear. Seeing the conditions, it hangs back, but moves towards the stump.*

*The archer uses a potion on himself & keeps running. The samurai attempts to move slice Roatha again, but his speed & waterwalking pay off, as he slips onto the river, moves around him, & slices him twice across the back. Not having the same luck, Lilith retreats downhill & heals herself with the Murasame, Baron Grimms charging after her, his wounds restoring with each step.*

Zac shoots a barrage at the archer as he chases after him.

Noct begins to fly over towards Mortal.

Clyde: <Well, isn't that just great...>

James: <What?>

Clyde: <Stop following me.>

*He goes to look for an inn, James following close behind.*

OOC: I am not making a whole section to say, "He finds an inn." And for the record, Gaffgarion SAID he was leaving town when he was first introduced.

~Finath River~

*The archer stays out of range, the shots missing. He then dives behind the hill on the other end & knocks his arrow. The samurai turns to attack Roatha who parries, then has both of his attacks blocked. Baron Grimms stabs Lillith in the shoulder & lifts her off of the ground. She grabs the shaft of the spear to hold herself up & gasps.*

Grimms<What's the matter? You can still reach me. All you have to do is pull forward...no? Fine, have it your way.>

*The Baron then smashes her against a nearby tree.*

L"Are you going to help?!"

S"Nah, I think you're handling it pretty well."

*Euryale also runs in. The undead continues to hang back. Of course, they are now both poisoned.*

"Are you going to need help healing her?"

"I've got potions and phoenix downs, and she heals by walking. She'll be fine, go finish off that skeleton before the other one gets up." Noctis said, using said phoenix down if she was close enough.

Zac continues to chase after the archer, shooting a Barrage at him, should he be close enough.

"I shall, thank you" Sorrel heads that way.

OOC: Alrighty then.

*Not able to find an inn, he decides to leave town on an awesome and epic quest to find the knight. James tags behind.*

James: <Where are we going?>

Clyde: <...Just leave. Please.>

~Finath River~

*He is certainly close enough to shoot the hill the archer is hiding behind. Said archer fires an arrow up & over the hill at him. Seraph finally elects to do something, hitting Baron Grimms with a bolt of lightning.*

<You're going to regret that, wizard.>

S"Nah. I mean, I thought of using fire, but you don't look all that flammable."

*With that, the Baron charges Seraph, only for the mage to teleport behind him. Lilith slumps down next to the tree, clutching her shoulder. Roatha runs out further onto the water, throwing a bomb at the samurai & critically wounding him. The samurai responds by healing himself with the Murasame & wading in.*

*Euryale assists anyway, using Chakra to restore Mortal's health. She goes for a Shockwave, but stops upon seeing that the skeleton has climbed on top of the log. Sighing, she runs after it.*

*The department of collection is a bunch of Arithmeticians sitting at desks with piles of Gil, weighing them on scales, sorting them in bags, & ultimately shipping them off to other areas of the cathedral.*

*Another gang apprroaches from up the mountain, quite literally introducing themselves by shooting Taiyo in the back. They consist of a female chemist, a male archer, a male thief, a female thief, & a male knight.*

Knight<Well, gang, it looks as though we've found our next marks. And look at that, they've done us the favor of wearing each other down. Kill them all, & take everything they've got!>

*James bursts through the crowd and to the front and shoots "Put your back into it!".*

*Taiyo moves away, to behind Mimiru. Now right pissed off Mimiru turns away from Parker, hurling an Aurablast at the Chemist.*

"What the hell is this? Who the hell are these clowns?"

*The archer shoots Mimiru's dumb ass. Other than that, nobody moves.*

*Mimiru uses Chakra on herself and begins making her way to the Chemist. Taiyo moves further away while Azuma begins to make his way to the Archer.*
