God Yet Lives

Sab lets out a moan, and closes her eyes as she tightens her grip on Aroma's shoulder. When Sab regains her senses she steps away from Aroma, nearly falling down the stairs, "Don't do that here!"

Mortal laughs as Sab blushes a deep red.

Noct looked at Euryale, "I'm not making fun of her for being a virgin, I just think that Senthose is a shitty person to have deflower her. That aside," She looks at Sab, "What the hell was that?"

"Nothing!"

*Senthose looks at Sab & has a flashback to putting meat on her horns. He stands in horrified silence.*

E"Oh, your first time isn't necessarily an important milestone anyway."

L"But you JUST said--"

E"And now I'm saying something else."

"I think you hurt Senthose's feelings Euryale, he looks hurt... or something," Noct said.

Sab is equally horrified, but mostly because now everyone knows what her horns are.

*Aroma just looks excited, & reaches for them again.*

A"Why didn't you tell me about these?!"

*Euryale waves a hand in front of Senthose's face.*

Sab ducks the hand, "Because it is weird... stop it."

"Don't feel bad, she didn't tell me about it either," Mortal said, "I found out about it by chance."

A"It isn't weird, it's cool."

E"So you put up with this for the better part of a month?"

*Lilith shrugs. When it becomes clear that Senthose either can't or won't move on his own, she pushes him into a slow, dead-to-the-world walk.*

"It is weird, and at the very least perverse," Sab said, "Just stop right now. You can touch them all you want later or something."

"Is Senthose going to stay like that? We kind of need him to fight," Noct said.

Astarte was walking behind the group at this point, looking more than a little annoyed with the group's inane discussion and antics.

"Damn it... they're already arriving," Enkidu scowled, launching a furious foot forward to boot Nel away.

*They reach the bottom & start walking. Euryale is so grossed out that she fashions a primitive pair of rock shoes for herself before stepping on the "sand." At this point, a ziggurat of white stone is clearly looming in the distance, with the Tower of Light emerging from the apex. Very high above, the faint glow from the cross portion can be seen refracted in the dark water of the upper atmosphere, so it looks like a tower reaching into the heavens.*

A"Should we destroy the crosses?"

S"No, we'll expend too much time & energy to do that. First, we deal with Gevurah, Malkuth, & Netzach."

E"If we ever FIND them, of course."

Kyoraku<I wouldn't be so upset yet. You still have the upper hand, what with all of those lieutenant captives.>

"Gevurah usually makes himself known," Mortal said, "I don't really see myself not finding him when looking for a fight."

"If we draw attention to ourselves, won't they come to us?" Astarte asked, stepping lightly across the ground up bone on her bare feet.

Enkidu gritted his teeth, a lance now protruding from his foot where he kicked Nel. He leaned back and let out a roar, fire balls falling from the sky towards the Arrancar-Captain.

*Kyoraku dashes down & speeds her away, looking rather ungainly trying to carry a centuar. Soi Fon blasts Zommari with more red smoke & disappears.*

*Lilith suddenly stops dead & wrinkles her nose in disgust.*

L"That's...him...there's no doubt about it!"

*Senthose strides over & picks up a skull, holding it like a Shakespeare prop.*

S"Alas, Aamon, I knew him well. He was...forgettable."

*He drops the skull.*

"How can you possibly recognize a human's skull?" Astarte asked, stepping over to look at it more closely.

Enkidu slashed his axe in Kyoraku's direction, sending a ball of fire chasing after him.

"He was only here for a couple of years and he was already killed so many times that he can't be reborn? What a loser," Noct said.

L"I can tell from the Reitsu."

S"He was always a loser. When he couldn't hide behind his gadgets or one of his experimental hybrids, his only skill was the Quincy equivalent of Sonido. Even his own spirit-arrows weren't that powerful."

E"But by the time we killed him, he had amazingly powerful Reitsu. How could he be destroyed so easily?"

L"Because it has nothing to do with Reitsu."

*Kyoraku sidesteps the fireball as all of the lieutenants go limp. Soi Fon has her weapon in Zommari's back, a white crest over a black crest. He gurgles, before exploding into nothingness. ??? lets out a little "Huh" as Kyoraku dashes towards Enkidu.*

Kyoraku<Pink!>

Enkidu waved his flame sword at Kyoraku, but didn't put a lot of effort into the attack.

Noct shrugged, "I guess it doesn't matter. He is dead and we have bigger issues."

And shit got real!

Netzach<Right you are, lassie!>

*Netzach is standing in the air behind them.*

Netzach<So, Morty, ya finally showed up. What took ya?>

*A pair of Gargantas open close behind him, Gevurah & Malkuth exiting out of either one. By now, if they look up at the ziggurat, they'll realize that there is a throne on top. Protected inside the Tower of Light, Keter is sitting with her Zanpakuto spread across her lap, peering down at them over her golden bracelets.*

*Kyoraku stops momentarily for the sword to pass lazily by him, then dives in, leaving a shallow slash on Enkidu's arm. On him, it's more like a papercut.*

"Dear god, Morty is quite possibly the ugliest name anyone could hope to call me," Mortal said, "I thought Keter was all about the beauty. You should be punished for that one."

Noct blinked on her fullbring, "Wait, who was I supposed to fight again?"

Lightning exploded around Astarte's hands and she jumped a few more paces away from Netzach, her wings raised and crackling with energy.

Enkidu completely ignored the tiny cut and dispelled the flame sword a moment before trying to grab the captain.

Netzach<She'd be mad, for sure, but she could punish me anytime. And speaking of....>

*Heedless of Astarte, he appears in front of Euryale, an arm around her shoulders.*

Netzach<Hey, babe. How 'bout you ditch the dyke & come with me?>

E"...You have GOT to be joking."

Netzach<Nah, we'd make a great couple, you've got a lot of...spirit.>

*He winks & clicks his tongue at her, complete with pointy index finger of douchebag.*

*Enkidu successfully grabs his pink cloak, as Kyoraku appears at his shoulder, slashing.*

Kyoraku<White.>

Enkidu's shoulder guard was shattered and his shoulder itself was torn and mangled. A few streams of lava-blood sprayed out of the wound at Kyoraku and Enkidu let out another roar of pain, the force blowing the captain away.

Noct bringer lights to Netzach, aiming a katar punch at his face.

*Netzach jumps, clutching at his chest dramatically.*

<Oooh, the rejection, it hurts! Oh well. It's too bad, really. I think that's the only excuse Keter would've bought. I didn't really want to have to resort to this...but what can you do?>

*He draws his Zanpakuto, which turns into a set of claws he holds in his hands. He then dashes to Euryale. Lilith just manages to block a slash to her chest long enough for her to don her armor, which now has 3 huge gashes in it. She literally rubs some dirt in it, mostly regenerating the metal. Meanwhile, Malkuth appears behind Mortal, charging a Cero aimed at the back of her head. Gevurah just lands somewhere & roars, building an aura of fire around him.*

*The Soul Reaper that Metastacia had taken over falls over as tentacles burst out of him & Metastacia eats his way out. Soi Fon can only glare at him as he rushes towards the fallen lieutenants.*

Mortal squats as the cero flies over her head, "Sorry, I don't have time for you Malkuth. I have to go kill Gevurah, again." She then starts walking off that way, releasing after her first step.

Noct slashes at Netzach's chest with a lanza.
