God Yet Lives

Mortal grabbed Keter by her collar, then pulled her in for a headbutt. Should that work out, Mortal pushes her back a bit, then slices down on her with an Aliento rugir del fuego del gran lagarto cero.

Noct creates three shadow clones and has them surround Keter, stabbing at her with lanzas.

*Keter erects a few Severing Voids around herself to block most of the lanzas, then stabs at Mortal's abdomen & releases a blast of white light. Lilith Gargantas behind her & sticks Yggdrasil in one of her wings, which starts shedding petals like water.*

L"I guess you didn't fight Captain Ukitake back in the day, or else you'd know how inconvenient these displays of power are."

Binah<Be careful, Lilith, I only had time to do basic first aid!>

*Keter spins her other sword around & stabs at Lilith.*

*A damn missile comes flying at Enkidu's back as Kyoraku disappears back into the building's shadow.*

Mortal grabs Keter's arm, stopping her from stabbing Lilith. Mortal was bleeding from the wound in her belly, which was unpleasant enough without the blood loss. She lifted her sword into the air, and brought it down on Keter's arm.

*Amazingly, Keter does not lose her arm. Instead, she produces a spherical blue-white explosion around her that hurls her attackers away. Even when the dust clears, everyone's vision is a bit blurry, but it looks like Keter's swords are no longer glowing or fiery, her wings are reduced to a pair of drooping strips, her armor is gone, & so are the rings of light. Reitsu shoots out towards her like shooting stars from all of the crosses, slightly healing her wounds & reducing her fatigue.*

Keter<It's a start...but still not enough. I need real Reitsu.>

*She looks at Lilith, coughing & sputtering where the explosion had thrown her, & starts towards her, raising her sword.*

Keter<You'll do.>

*The unlikely dynamic duo of Senthose & Binah rush to Lilith's defense, blocking her attacks. Lilith opens a small Garganta under her hand & fires a Shakaho into it, hitting Keter in the back of the head & burning away some of her hair. As well, much of the ground of Hell is littered with flower petals.*

E"That last attack must have taken a lot out of her...I think we might actually be winning."

Noct bringer lighted to Keter, swinging a lanza at her kneecaps.

Conversely, Mortal shot a gran lagarto at Keter's face. Exhausted, Mortal rose back to her feet.

*Keter kicks Noctis in the stomach, & takes the Gran Lagarto along her arm, splitting most of it open. She then returns fire with an Alabaster Cero. She erects a Severing Void to block Senthose's lightning attack, & shatters the barrier with one of her swords, sending the shards at Senthose.*

Noct gets kicked, but throws a lanza at Keter as she is sailing away.

Mortal blocks the cero with a dome of scales.

Astarte groaned as she forced herself up to her feet and wiped blood out of her eyes. She took a ragged breath and dropped into a combat-ready stance.
"I won't... stop fighting," She breathed before flashing up into the air directly above Keter with her hands above her head. "You bitch!"
She threw her arms downwards and fired a continuous stream of lightning down at Keter.

Enkidu jumped into a sonido that took him out of the missile's path and let out a yell simultaneously, hoping to keep the missile ever further away.

*The only effect this appears to have is that the missile explodes a few feet away from Enkidu instead of directly on him. The blast is still big enough to consume multiple Seireitei blocks.*

*Keter's wings fall apart & she slashes Astarte as a wave of lava washes over her.*

Keter<Why won't you just lay down & die!?>

*All of Euryale's manipulating the ground causes a portion of the ground near the ziggurat to sink & actual lava to come pouring out.*

Astarte waited a moment too long to dodge and received a deep cut across her stomach. She used the last of her strength to get away from Keter and the lava where she collapsed and passed out, returning to her sealed state.

Enkidu ended up lying a few hundred metres away with only fragments of his shoulder guard and helmet remaining. His halo flickered and then went out as he staggered to his feet.
"I'll be back, I'll be back," He rasped as a giant Garganta opened up behind his shrinking body. He collapsed backwards into it a moment before it snapped shut.

*Kyoraku emerges from where he was a moment ago. Nel, now fully healed, canters up to him.*

Nel<Should we follow him?>

Kyoraku<Not right now. We have to see to our defenses until the legions of Hell are defeated. Did you see to the safety of the lieutenants?>

Nel<The Head Captain cast Kyokko on her Shikai and had them whisked away in secret.>

Kyoraku<I see...very shrewd.>

*Bringer Light surrounds Euryale's fist & she punches Keter in the face, snapping one of her swords when she moves to block. Keter knocks her away with Hado 1 and stares at the broken weapon in disbelief.*

Keter<I've already been weakened to this degree?>

Astarte awoke and began crawling away from the fight, her breathing laborious and ragged.

Mortal looked at Astarte and furrowed her brow, then at Noctis. She could get Astarte to Sab and Aroma without leaving the fight. "Noctis, get Astarte to Aroma before she dies."

"With my shadows?" Noct asked throwing another lanza at Keter, "Hell no."

"What do you mean--!" Before she could finish Sab teleported in. She had come to see the state of affairs. Noticing Astate, Sab teleported to her, then away to Aroma.

*Keter does not even bother to step out of the way of the Lanza, sustaining a rather grizzly wound. She looks down at it uninterestedly, and begins to laugh bitterly. Her Zanpakuto has also returned to normal.*

Keter<You're all idiots, you know that?! Those bound to Hell are simply reborn where they fell. I'im immortal! A luxury that you do not share.>

*The tower nearby shatters, its pieces flying outward.*

Keter<I said my tower had other functions besides displaying my dominance over the land, did I not? One such function is to release all of the trapped energy instantaneously, creating a bomb that can vaporize spirit particles themselves. I imagine that would even kill Rasheverek. But not me! You never stood a chance, you heathen fools! Meditate on your folly, as you cease to exist!>

*She looks over at the shards of the tower, which are slowly rotating around where the tower used to be.*

Keter<That...that isn't supposed to happen.>

*All of a sudden, they begin spinning much faster, drilling down into the landscape. The ziggurat is vaporized instantly & the explosion punches a huge, black hole into the space where it used to be: A massive Garganta. It begins sucking in huge amounts of soil, revealing that the floor of Hell is constructed of a massive amount of chains. Keter shouts, as she's slowly pulled towards the Garganta. Noah's body flies in, smacking her hand along the way. Lucifer lazily spirals into the rift. Senthose anchors himself with his tentacles, then catches Lilith when she falls off-balance.*

L"This is too much...everyone, come to me, I'm using the Escape Kido!"

Noct grabs Euryale, and sinks into her shadow before popping out of Lilith's.

Mortal opens a garganta, drops a ressureccion level, grabs Sab, Aroma, and Astarte with a dragon arm, then makes her way over to Lilith.

*A glyph appears in Lilith's hand, & then a larger glyph under all of them. The glyph rises, transporting them through the air like some kind of open air elevator.*

E"Wait, we can't just...hold on, she stopped moving."

L"Wow. I guess she has been giving this about 200 years more effort than we have."

*True to what they're saying, down below, Keter has forced herself to stop moving towards the Garganta using ankle strength alone.*

Keter<This will not be. I am immortal, omnipotent, & omniscient. I have lived for thousands of years, & was the first to transcend the states of being of Hollow and Soul Reaper. I am the Goddess of Hell. My will be done.>

*Senthose begins charging a Cero.*

S"Not if I have anything to say about it."

Mortal begins charging a Gran Lagarto as well, "Fuck you, Keter!"

Most pretentious ambience yet!

E"Hey, wait!"

S"Nope."

*They fire, knocking Keter off-balance. When her foot hits the Garganta, she tries to create a path of white spirit particles, but it breaks when she's sent tumbling deeper into the rift.*

Keter<Malkuth! Netzach! Someone, save meeeeee!>

*Suddenly, they're speeding up through a layer of water. Soon afterwards, they break out of it & are moving up through the city. Black-cloaked people are building new shrines to Keter, apparently unaware of her demise.*

"We're... its over..." Mortal seemed shocked, her hands shacking.

*Aroma hugs Mortal & Sab as they speed through the red clouds. Euryale follows their lead & hugs Noctis. Senthose stares at Lilith.*

L"What?"

S"Where is the love?"

L"I'm kind of busy right now."

*The group soon comes to a stone door in the sky, which seems to open up just to let them through. They arrive near the Senkaimon in the Soul Society, as the Gates of Hell slam shut & disappear behind them. The glyph slowly takes them towards the ground, which is covered in ash & the crushed remains of buildings. But it looks like the damage doesn't extend very far into the city.*

Mortal hugs back, when they come out of the Gates of Hell she takes a step back and says, "Sab, Aroma, there... there is something I need to get off my chest. I've been thinking about it for a while now, and now is a good time to say it-- Wait, what happened here?"

Noct, who took the time to stop enjoying Euryale's hug, looked around, "I'm guessing Soul Society was attacked, again."

S"I imagined they would send someone to attack while we were away, but it doesn't look like they got very far."

*Once they land, the glyph vanishes.*

"So, is the invasion over then?" Noct asked, "Wait, who was attacking? Keter's forces?"

S"Does it matter?"

L"Come on, we can get the details from the Head Captain."

*And so Lilith starts running to the First Division barracks. Senthose lazily follows, grumbling about how no one ever listens to him.*

Mortal frowned, looking at Sab and Aroma, "I guess I'll tell you both later."

With that, everyone else follows along.
