S"He was here. But I got the upper hand, so he took off."

*Jackie continues on her merry way.*

"So, where are you going anyway?" Noct asked.

"The human?" Astarte extended her senses again and looked around the room. "I did not sense another--... How exactly do I know you were not defeated?"
She drew her Zanpakuto at this point and locked her eyes on Senthose, the hairs on the back of her neck rising.

Jackie<Like I said, out to eat.>

S"Please, like you could defeat me anyway. You've fought along humans in Hell. Did you not notice that they put out very little Reitsu?"

"That makes it even more likely that he is still around- he would not have to run far to hide from us," Astarte took a half-step back. "Why don't you sheathe that blade of yours?"

Noct shrugged and pulled out her phone, "Alright then." She dialed began calling one of her board members to tell them she wouldn't be coming in today, or probably the next few, but before all that she said, "Don't forget about the tomato sauce."

*She keeps walking away, but gives Noct a thumbs up.*

S"Well, for starters, there's what you just said. But I also broke the sheathe blocking one of his attacks. I believe his power is triggered by cutting his victim. This place is no longer safe. We should leave."

"I... okay..." Astarte nodded slowly, making no motion to lower her own weapon. "You will walk in front of me."

Noct hung up and walked back in, rubbing the back of her neck, "What did I miss?"

*Everyone is now sitting around the coffee table, whereupon a plate of nachos has been positioned. They've got salsa, chili sauce, & cheese, with sides of guacamole & sour cream.*

"Then my plan worked out better than expected," Noct said, taking a seat and grabbing a chip. She used fullbring to put some chilli, and cheese on her chip before eating it.

"Then, I suppose we will walk nowhere," Astarte said, remaining staring at Senthose with her Zanpakuto drawn and showing no signs of relenting.

*Astarte now has a tentacle around her throat.*

S"You're so focused on me that it would be easy for anyone to get behind you. Your paranoia is a liability. Moreover, I'm not having you lead me around like a house pet in Hueco Mundo. It undermines my authority."

*The tentacle retreats back into the ground & Senthose opens a Garganta.*

E"...Are we really eating nachos for dinner?"

Astarte crossed to the other side of the mansion using Sonido, and then entered Las Noches through a different Garganta. By chance, she emerged before Hector and Eduj who were still on their slow way to their quarters.
"A happy coincidence?" Hector asked as the Garganta closed and Astarte gave him a hard look. "Perhaps there is something you wanted to discuss?"
Astarte left without replying, and the two continued on their way.

"I've had worse for dinner," Noct said with a shrug, "And we don't have to cook, so I don't see the big deal."

E"I guess you're right. And it is tasty."

"Agreed," Noct said, "Though I might be in the mood to eat something later tonight, if you're interested."

"Get out of the way," Astarte said, pushing past the Hollow.

"I wasn't actually trying to be dirty," Noct said, "I literally meant I am probably going to cook something later on tonight if Euryale is hungry too. If I wanted to be dirty I would say that I wanted to bind Euryale up in leather and ravish her sexually. It is fun to see the reactions."

Astarte flashed to the gorilla's side before it could finish the word "Lackey" and kicked it in the side of the head. Her expression was mostly neutral but for a distinct crease in her brow.
"The law is that I do not kill you," She said. "But do not think I can not touch you."

*Ginjo coughs as Moe goes flying again.*

"Maybe we should talk about something else?"
