| I am considering it, but not yet convinced that he/it is enough of a hassle to warrant it. | |

| Why is being a hassle your determining factor? He is spamming ads for sites that break the terms of service of this site, Microsoft, and Facebook.
If he was some random dude named, "Lolpenis" who kept posting pics of cats, I could see why you'd not really bother to rush. He'd prolly just away, and probably has a chance of becoming a real member, who has a weird thing for cats.
This account serves no beneficial purpose, and is a net negative to the board. That alone should warrant his removal.

| That would imply we had a good presence in the first place.
'This board is dead' joke aside, I never said it was ruining the board, I said it was a net negative, and he was breaking roolz.

| Because we enforce Forumotion's rules let alone our own. It's a minor annoyance that you're overreacting to. | |

| I don't think I'm overreacting, or particularly moved by this issue. My reaction, one way or the other, isn't the point though. Seeing random ads for things like hacking a facebook is annoying, and isn't good for the board. Why would anyone want to continue seeing that when simply banning the user would get rid of it? | |

| I considered to say something about it to Neo but then I figured that this board is small enough to keep track of all new posted posts. And if I remember right this was originally posted in one of the finished RP threads which I doubt many visits.
So no Script, you are not alone.
Maybe we should simply rename it to "Random Thread for Random Things".
EDIT Forgot to mention that I never clicked the link, the post in itself is obviously an ad and I'm suspicious of such links.

| Having just reviewed the terms of service, this is the only thing I can find that might be in violation: - Quote :
- - Messages who promote - or evoke - illegal practices are prohibited.
And while I highly doubt the site's legitimacy, I can find nothing to suggest that it is illegal.

| I believe you are missing the point, or avoiding it. I have yet to determine which. That said, it does indeed violate Facebook's, and Microsoft's. Doesn't mean shit here, but breaking a terms of service wasn't the point. The point was that this isn't needed on the board, and it is best to get rid of it. Also, just read the terms of service of ForumsMotion, now that I care enough to. - ForumsMotion wrote:

Forums that does welcome or promote warez, piracy, hacking, cracking, spamming, attacks against networks or servers, pornography, racial hatred, crimes against humanity, inappropriate activities on the servers, or any other actions which violate any applicable laws, aren't allowed. Emphasis added. Edit. The first place this appeared was in FFT, an RP that is still ongoing. This started off an issue, and has really only continued to be annoying. And before that is misconstrued, again, into an overreaction, please realize that this is relative. Is this an issue on the level of lung cancer, no, but it is an issue in the sense that it annoys me, and I don't like annoying things.

| I don't know what hacking has been promoted.
And lots of things aren't really needed. Such as Taegan.

| His first post was about hacking facebook accounts, and that lists more than just hacking. Once again not sure if missing the point, or avoiding it.
And we know Tae is shit. If he wasn't you could tell him to ban the guy since you think it is so much of a hassle.

| I am focusing on the things that could actually be a problem. 3 adspam posts is not one of those things. | |

| You have literally nothing else to worry about, so that is kind of a shitty excuse. Your focus shouldn't be drawn anywhere. This is the first administrative duty you've had to face in months. | |

| And my response will be to lock this ridiculous topic so it doesn't get any more undeserved activity.
To Followfacebook, you've got the word out, though I seriously doubt that anyone cares. But if you replicate this thread elsewhere, I am going to have to issue a tempban, & obviously a permaban if you try to evade that or keep doing it after you get back. I'd also urge you not to test the limits by advertising something else.
