Gabe curses her hospitality, and nods, "Alright then. I'll just be a second." She heads over to her room, closes the door, then locks it. She then goes about getting ready.

"Have you met her yet?" Noct asked, "Or was it only Gabriel?"

*Tarrlok waits until such time as Gabe calls the damn team.*

{The conference will be outside of her estate. Saxeus also issued a statement today, to the effect that he is now seeking approval for the Metalbending Police to use seismic sense to find explosives hidden in residences, such as the ones that may have killed Chief Beifong.}

<Yeah, Mr. Sato's got a lot of new contracts, since the Purists have been laying low. I guess they smashed up a lot of peoples' cars.>

"I'm not on the council yet," Noct corrected, "And neither is Keter, though perhaps you shouldn't point that out to her."

Mortal nodded, "Then maybe I will. I'd like to-- nevermind." She took a step towards the door, "Should we head over to Gabe's?"

Gabe returns wearing a blue skirt that falls to just below her knees, and a white short sleeve blouse with a loose neckline that causes on of her shoulders to be seen. She also has on a pair of blue flats with little white ribbons on them. Her hair also looks combed, and straight, for once. She heads for the phone, and dials Noct's number.

"Indeed..." Dalia said quietly, creasing her brow a little. "Have you actually seen any Purist attacks? First hand?"

<A group of Purists attacked me while I was at a stoplight about a week ago. Threw me from the vehicle & stole my car. They'd have probably finished the job too, if I hadn't started throwing fireballs at the gas tank. So they cut & ran.>

*Noct's phone rings, & Ven looks in that direction.*

"That might be Gabe."

"Hmm...I guess so."

*Euryale stands up, putting the plates in the sink.*

"Those scumbags," Dalia said. "I've been attacked before, too. Do you think the police can even handle them?"

Noct gets up to go and answer it, "Because she may take it as an insult." Noct answered the phone, "Hello, Noctis Talea speaking."

"Hello, this is Gabe. I was calling to see if you and Ven were ready to go," Gabe said.

"We are," Noct said, "What about yourself, and Tirea?"

"Oh, I haven't called Tirea yet... Uh, I'll call you back."

Gabe hung up and called Tirea's home. Noct returned to her seat at the table, "It was Gabe. She was letting us know she was ready, and now she is calling Tirea. We should probably get over there to pick them up soon."

No she doesn't, as Mortal already did that 2 posts ago. Mortal walks over to Gabe's door and knocks before trying the knob. She opens the door to find Gabe on the phone, and Tarrlok on the sofa, "Well, I didn't expect that."

*A man answers the phone*

{Hello, this is Atomus. Who is speaking?>

*Eve enters, then locks the door and lays her bag out on the table, removing all the contents. She then looks though it to see what can be saved*

*Euryale follows.*

"Oh...hello, Mr. Tarrlok."

*Tarrlok stands, spreading his arms & heading towards them.*

<Please, just call me Tarrlok. You're the policewomen who caught Senthose, aren't you? I don't believe we've been properly introduced yet.>

*He holds his hand out for them to shake.*

*Ven is riding with Noctis over to Gabe's place.*

<Well, there haven't been many attacks since all of those cops came over from Ba Sing Se.>

"Let's hope it stays that way," Dalia said.

"Yes, that was us," Mortal said, stepping forward to shake his hand, "My name is Mortal."

Gabe looks over and waves to her friends, but speaks into the phone, "Yes, this is Gabriel. I'm looking for Tirea, we're supposed to be going somewhere today, and I want to make sure she is ready."

One hell of a table. Noct parks close to the building, and gets out, "You've been here before, haven't you? Care to lead the way?"

{Of course, one moment please.}

*About 10 seconds later, Tirea picks up the phone*

{Hello!}

*Eve puts the water damaged paper near a window, hoping to dry them out. Then she starts copying down any visible information onto fresh sheets of paper*

*Euryale shakes his hand too. When she lets go, he rubs his wrist.*

Tarrlok<Quite the strong grips you ladies have. So, any news on that front? How Senthose escaped? Whether or not you think Lin Beifong will return?>

*Ven gets out & leads the way through the apartment complex.*

<Whelp, I'm going on break.>

*Eve growls, and sets the papers aside. Then she turns on the tv*

"I won't be long after you."

"We're not really able to say, at the moment," Mortal said, "Um, what exactly are you doing here?"

"Yes, Tirea?" Gabe asked, taking a step away from the conversation that was happening, "This is Gabe, I'm calling to see if you're ready for today."

Tarrlok<Why, I'll be joining you for the press conference, of course!>

*Euryale frowns, but doesn't comment on that.*

"I sure hope she's okay, but we've got the whole department out looking for her. There's not a lot I can really do."

*Meanwhile, Ven walks up behind them.*

*Eve realizes that she doesn't own a TV, because apparently those don't become widespread until the 50's.*

"Hello there," Noct said, seeing Mortal standing in the doorway.

Gabe is shocked to find that in the time it took for her to hang up and call Tirea, Noct was able to drive over.

Mortal looks towards the voice and smiled, "Oh, hello Noctis, and Ven."

After a few more minutes Dalia stopped work and went to take her own break.

{Yeah, all I need to do is put on my dress. I didn't want to put it on till the last minute, so it doesn't get dirty.}

*She turns on the radio then*

*Euryale & Ven exchange hellos.*

*There is a break room with a fridge, a small stove (because microwaves aren't a thing yet), & a radio, or she can go off of the premises.*

*Eve hears a duplicate ad for the press conference.*

Noct takes a step inside, "Hello Euryale-- Tarrlok, well, this is a surprise. Good morning to you."

Gabe nodded, though Tirea couldn't see, "Great, we'll be over in a second then. See you soon." With that, she hangs up, and finally gives her hellos to Noctis and Ven. "Tirea is ready, so I guess we should go and get her."

"My car only sits five, by the way, so I hope you guys have extra transportation," Noctis said.

{Alright, see you.}

*Tirea exits the room, and puts on a sky blue sundress that goes down to her knees. She then ties her hair up in a ponytail*

*Eve starts to clean up her apartment while listening to the radio*

E"Yeah, we can take our car."

V"Is Roatha coming?"

E"He said he might show up, but maybe not, so don't wait around for him."
