"Hey," Jin said, putting on a cutesy look and clasping her hands behind her back. "Could I have a puff?"

Dalia looked back over her shoulder as she walked on, muttering "delinquents" under her breath.

Taiyo: "Sorry!"

Taiyo withdraws her hand from Aroma.

The indifferent one shrugs and passes the fatty.

*Luna looks for some kind of supply store where she can purchase binoculars & possibly a lock picking kit.*

*Aroma mumbles something incomprehensible.*

T"Uh...oh, speaking of hair, didn't you say that you wanted yours braided?"

Be calm. You don't get high instantly. I've heard.
Jin accepted it and inhaled, careful not to take too much and make herself splutter.

Taiyo: "Right."

And so she lets her hair down, sliding the ties around her wrists.

Most places are closing or closed. Small family owned stores look like prisons with the heavy iron bars covering windows that should show welcoming scenes, their owners priming security systems that set them back several months profits all because the city has such an unimaginable crime rate.

In the process of closing down is a pawn shop that claims to offer all kinds of wares. Which may or may not be true.

Azuma: "That was....not a good day."

Mimiru: "We got help for a pretty big thing. This might be the end of all of this."

Azuma: "At what cost? God knows how many people died in there and there was nothing we could do to stop it. And we claim to be heroes?"

Mimiru: "We claim to do the right thing. To try and help this city."

Azuma: "A lot of good we're doing."

Jin is now risking a hell of a long time in prison for non-violent drug charges.

Laughy: "Is it me or can she hit it? This babe's sucking it back like a pro."

Stoic: "W'ever. That's not the last of it, right?"

Laughy: "Nah man, I got plenty. Say, wanna come chill with us?"

*She heads in & looks for someone to talk to.*

*Aroma blushes slightly & brushes her fingers through Taiyo's hair, her fingers having been conveniently cleaned by some contrived off-screen event.*

A"What kind of braid do you want?"

T"You know, Taiyo, it would probably be easier for Aroma if you sat on the floor."

V"Or on her lap."

*Ven chuckles a bit. And a bit more when she sees how red Aroma & Thiera have gone.*

Jin exhaled and gave a genuine smile at the thrill, but tried not to look overly excited, "Maybe. Just pot?"

*Cameron comes over*

<You wouldn't happen to have anything...stronger, would you?>

Taiyo looks at Aroma.

Taiyo: "If you don't mind....?"

Giggly: "What are you getting at? You saying I got cheap shit? Wait, who the hell are you?"

Stoic: "You're barking up the wrong tree if you're looking for anything different."

The clerk, a fairly old man in denim and flannel looks at her, surprised that someone comes wandering in ten minutes to closing. He then gets suspicious and reaches for the .45 under the counter.

Clerk: "Can I help you, miss?"

An intercom outside a steel door buzzes, a female voice comes over it.

???: "State your name and business."

Malkovich: "Malkovich. I require your expertise."

???: "After three buzzes the door will be unlocked."

The intercom cuts out and a series of three buzzes come from elsewhere, Malkovich, Sun-Hi, and four mooks enter. They pass through a dimly lit concrete hallway and up a set of steel stairs until they come into a workshop if sorts.

Computers, pieces of machinery, and tools are scattered about on tables and workbenches. A young woman with red and black hair in shorts and a tank top wearing a tool belt and work goggles approaches them, taking a long glance at Sun-Hi before turning her attention to Malkovich.

???: "So what does the esteemed Kyle Malkovich need my assistance for?"

Malkovich: "Mutant problem. I want something that can take care of that problem."

???: "And I got a lot of other people who want things done and I'm on a tight schedule. You have lots of money and guns. Can't you use those?"

Malkovich draws his Makarov and points it in her face, prompting her to take a step back.

Malkovich: "You're going to put those on the backburner until I get what I'm requesting. Otherwise your other customers are going to find your brains on the floor and your body food for my dogs! Understand?"

???: "Yes. One hundred percent. Just tell me what you want."

Malkovich: "Misha."

One of the mooks hands her a folder. She looks over it nervously, the gun still in her face.

???: "The government is working on something like this. Although this is taking it a few steps further."

Malkovich: "Can you do it?"

???: "Yes, of course. One anti-Mutant machine thing. I'll let you know when it's done."

Malkovich: "Good. You'll recieve payment upon completion and a successful trial."

The Russians and Sun-Hi depart, the Gadgeteer letting out a big sigh.

OOC: Kind of a shitty arms dealer if she doesn't even have an answer to having a gun pointed in her face. Like say metal detectors. Or just not letting mafia assholes in.

"I'm just looking for a pair of binoculars."

A"I don't know if we should...would it be proper?"

*Thiera looks at them, concentrating. Ven does not turn away from the TV.*

T"Well...."

V"Thiera has proven to be kind of a prude, so just disregard whatever she says & go ahead."

T"I am not a prude!"

V"What do you do on Friday nights?"

T"Study."

V"Like a prude."

A"...But that's what I do on Friday nights...."

"It's cool, I brought these guys along to... whoever's place that was," Jin gestured to Cameron and Eve before sending her thoughts to both.
Say you'll go home, I'll go with them, but you should follow to be safe. I want to find out where they buy. It might be easier alone.
"Your pot's sweet, anyway. So..."

Jin, I'm worry about you going in alone.

Eve:<Well, if you're into drugs, we're done hanging out.>

*Eve sticks her noes up in the air, then heads off out of siight, followed slowly by Cameron*

How was that?

Taiyo: "It's just for braiding hair. It's not like anyone's being undressed."

The two shrug at Eve & Cameron's leave not in the state of mind to notice how forced it is.

Giggly: "All right, whatever, brah."

So they begin on their way presumably with Jin in two.

Clerk: "Down there and to the left."

He points down an aisle and jerks a thumb to the left to illustrate his point.

Gadgeteer: "Hey, Sage? Got something you and your cute sidekick might be interested in. Malkovich just stopped by to make a request. All right, I'll have the side door unlocked."

She hangs up the phone and sits down in an office chair which rolls back a bit.

Gadgeteer: "I get to see Aeka."

Good.
Jin followed the guys with a skip in her step, "So, what should I call you?"

*It wasn't very forced, since Eve can be pretty snobby. Anyway, the pair follow along at a distance, making sure they aren't seen*

OOC: Tow. Also, lesbian mechanic with a mute fetish.

"Thank you."

*She heads off to pick those up.*

And so Taiyo crawls on to Aroma's lap.

Taiyo: "Ready when you are."

Stoic: "Mitchell. And you are?"

There are a variety of styles to choose from, each varying in price.

*Aroma reaches up, running her fingers through Taiyo's hair a few times.*

T"Try not to get your fingers stuck."

V"So...I can't help but notice that Taiyo never answered what kind of braid she wants."

*Luna picks the one that looks like it's relatively cheap, but still pretty good quality.*

"Jean," Jin said, feeling like a master of espionage. "Where are we headed?"

Dalia had walked some way ahead and was about ready to head back home for the night.

*They follow along*

Taiyo: "What's a simple braid?"

Morgan: "Probably my place to drink, get high and play some COD. Could go without the COD."

Then everything changes when someone grabs her from behind and demands she hand over her wallet, something cold and hard pressed against her back.

Her rings it up and asks if it'll be cash or debit.

"Sounds cool," Jin said. "Walk's not long is it?"

"Alright, alright," Dalia raised her hands in a passive gesture and reached slowly for her wallet. "You can have it."
