Going Digital

Eve:<Same time same place then?>

"Sounds good."

The next day, those in on the plan meet at the park as expected. Unlike the day before, nothing strange appeared on tv and Aroma's phone didn't act up.

At 3:33, a beep rings out and everyone's device vibrates, a crude map appearing on the screen displaying a number of different colored dots, those at the park may note that most of the dots are close together while two blue dots one darker than the other and a lime colored dot are further away from the group and each other.

*Euryale & Roatha dig theirs out & stare at them.*

E"Holy shit, it did something!"

R"3:33? That's such a weird time...."

*They start pressing random buttons.*

<What do you think it is?>

*She points.*

"It must show the Digivices. Look...this one is my color, & it's where we are. And there are a bunch at the park."

<But why now?>

"That I can't say."

"Looks like something is finally going to happen."

Nothing happens for the longest time until a slightly more detailed white & grey three dimensional map of the park opens up right in Roatha's face.

Azuma: "What's this about?"

Tokomon: "Pretty sucky map."

Azuma: "Pretty primitive looking technononsense your world has given me. I bet this large cluster is those other fine folk."

Tokomon: "Guess we're going out. And you can see your spooky dream buddy again."

Azuma: "Are you saying our dreams are spooky or she's spooky?"

Tokomon: "Either or."

Nyaromon: "It does something now of all days? Just when I was about to have a nap."

Hitomi: "Someone's moving."

The two set out.

*Eve looks over at the map that had popped up*

<That's quite handy.>

Cameron:<Looks like there's one person who hasn't shown himself yet.>

*Moonmon bounces, trying to get a look at the map on Kylie's digivice*

R"So...what do we do about it?"

E"I say we round every one of these signals up!"

R"You sound like an angry mob."

E"I was going more for 'gathering an army.'"

R"Now you just sound like a conservative extremist."

E"Shut up."

Taiyo looks at the map on her Digivice, the two blue dots moving.

Taiyo: "Two are moving. Maybe they're coming here."

On their way to the park the two meet at a crossing.

Azuma: "Yours is active too?"

Hitomi nods.

Azuma: "And this green one?"

She shrugs.

Kylie:<I guess our adventure starts today!>

Yokomon:<They probably are.>

*Roatha shrugs.*

R"So, wait for them, then find this new person?"

*Euryale also shrugs.*

E"I guess so."

Two blue dots eventually show up on Roatha's map assuming it's still projecting, moving closer to their location until Azuna and Hitomi are within view.

Taiyo: "Hi, Hitomi. Hi, Azuma."

Assuming Aroma is looking at the map still, she'll notice her dot is the only one not gathered with the rest. It is as alone as she is.

*Cameron and Kylie wave*

Cameron:<Hey guys.>

Eve:<Good, we're all here. Shall we go find the last one then?>

*That thought makes her really, really sad. She takes it & Budmon downstairs to procure some chocolate covered cherries.*

*Euryale has already set off.*

R"H-hey! I think you're forgetting some people! ...I'm sorry, she's not usually like this...."

*He runs afterward.*

The others just follow along and now they all look like a band of weirdos carrying rodents, reptiles, vegetables, and whatever.

Azuma: "So what's going on now?"

Taiyo: "We're going to find the last person."

Azuma: "So we're going to show up as a mob on someone's doorstep as they did not willingly come to the rest of us?"

The collection of dots is on the move. They're presently too far away from her current location to indicate exactly where this rainbow is headed.

*Eve heads up to walk a bit behind Euryale and Roatha, but doesn't say anything. Kylie and Cameron walk a bit behind her*

Cameron:<Why not?>

*Nervous, Aroma & Budmon keep an eye on it, while eating snacks.*

R"I guess so."

*Euryale hangs back towards Taiyo, scratching her head.*

E"Sorry I left you behind. I was kind of in the moment."

Azuma: "In case they want no part of this. Especially if they're watching a rainbow close in on them."

Taiyo: "It's no problem."

The rainbow eventually moves towards her location. It's like a fabulous mob is coming to get her.

*Eve opens her open to say something to Roatha, then decides otherwise and stares straight ahead*

Moonmon:<They have to join us!>

Yokomon:<We can't force them.>

Moonmon:<There's a lot more of us than him or her.>

*Aroma might fit right in, but she feels frightened, so she attempts to slip out of the back door.*

R"I guess we'll burn that bridge while we're crossing it."

*Euryale smiles at her.*

E"That's good. Boy, this day sure didn't go as planned, huh?"

Taiyo: "Not really."

Azuma: "They're on the move. Probably alarmed by a mob coming their way."

Eve:<Um, hello.>

Kylie:<We'll have to catch them then.>

*Roatha has no idea whom Eve is talking to.*

E"Maybe...perhaps we should send just one or two people on ahead."

Azuma: "And who do you suggest sending out to lure them to the rest of the mob?"

Hibiki points to Eve. "She looks the most friendly so I nominate her."
