Episode Three: Beneath the Deep

Taiyo shrinks back a ways.

Taiyo: "Right... Sorry."

She puts the container on the table.

Taiyo: "I'm uh...going to see if everyone else is awake."

And so she begins to leave, Renamon following her.

*Euryale sighs, & then everyone follows.*

<You aren't going to stay with us?>

*Eve looks rather confused*

Taiyo is already out the door.

Zarek: "I have business to attend to elsewhere."

*And?*

<Oh. I see...Well thank you for everything.>

And so they're lagging behind her. And having decided to dwell elsewhere in town, they got a ways to go to meet up with the others.

Zarek: "Of course."

And so he continues on his way.

Azuma: "Anyone care to message the other three?"

*Kylie sends Euryale a message*

Kylie:You guys up?

*Eve heads back to the group*

*Euryale sends back.*

Yeah, we're heading to you right now.

It's a good ten minutes before they arrive and Ogremon's patiance is nil.

Ogremon: "Finally all here?"

Azuma: "Looks that way, Jolly Green Giant."

Ogremon: "Call me that again and I'll rip you in half."

Azuma: "And I believe you."

Ogremon begins to leave in the same direction Zarek went.

*Kylie skips up to walk beside Ogremon*

E"...JOLLY. GREEN. GIANT."

R"Really? You choose to make a stand over this?"

E"I didn't put up with Ice Devimon's lip, & I'm sure not gonna start with the Green Goblin."

Ogremon looks at Kylie like "what the hell do you want?" before spinning around to face Euryale.

Ogremon: "What the hell did you say, girly?"

Azuma: "Oh man, we're going to get lost in those woods."

*Kylie's smile turns to a scared expression*

<She's joking! Please don't get mad Mr. Ogremon.>

*She stands her ground & points between herself & Ogremon whenever she changes subject.*

E"I called you the "Jolly Green Giant!" If you don't want to be called a name, you ask nicely, like a normal goddamn person! If you have a problem with that, I'm sure we can fend for ourselves. Speaking of, please don't call me girly, thank you, or you'll be sorry."

R"If you have a problem with that, is there any chance that we can leave Euryale to fend for herself, & you can lead the rest of us through this forest?"

*Euryale glares at Roatha, who shrugs.*

R"What? You just said you could fend for yourself. We'd meet up again. It wouldn't be a huge deal."

Azuma: "Or he can leave us all to get lost in the woods."

Ogremon stomps on over to Euryale and just stares down at her because it's taller.

Wizardmon shakes its head and turns to Monzaemon.

Wizardmon: "If they start throwing punches, sedate them."

And with that it goes inside.

Ogremon: "I'LL be sorry? Big words for a little girl."

<Just stop! Please...>

*Kylie falls to her knees*

E"I warned you--"

*Roatha grabs Euryale's left arm, while Guilmon grabs her right. They also pull her back a bit, so she can't kick him.*

R"Look, if you 2 are going to fight, you should at least agree to some kind of rules."

Azuma: "Or just not fight so we can continue on with our day."

Salamon: "Or you two fight and the bear can lead us through the spooky forest."

Zarek enters the Overdell cemetary. Bakemon emerge from their graves and crypts eyeing him suspiciously only moving to surround him when a Phantomon blocks the manor doorway.

Phantomon: "State your business, Zarek."

The Bakemon all echo Phantomon's words until it raises an arm to silence them.

Zarek: "I wish to speak to your lord. Murmukusmom has been slain."

Phantomon: "If this is apart of Millenniummon's plot to conquor the two worlds, leave. We want no part of this."

Zarek: "It's an unrelated issue. Something to do with a past incident is slaying those with an affinity for evil. Likely not caring much about the present given how quiet Murmukusmon had been."

Phantomon: "A past incident? Do you mean the scattering of the DigiMemories or the erection of the Destiny Stones? I hear you had a hand in that."

Zarek: "Not entirely related to those. One of the few remaining Chosen Digimon is present on the island. I'm here because I suspect your lord is next."

Phantomon: "With the advent of Murmukusmon's defeat, this means Lord Myotismon is free to acsend the mountain and claim the castle for himself."

Zarek: "Assuming your lord isn't next on the chopping block. IceDevimon too has been slain, but that was by the new Chosen Children. I have no qualms with your lord at this time nor did I Murmukusmon, but this is an issue. It's bad enough there's already an imbalance of power on the island, I'd prefer it not get any worse."

Phantomon: "Very well then, I permit you to enter. Lord Myotismon should be in the ball room."

Zarek: "Of course."

Phantomon moves and Zarek enters the manor.

Kylie:<Or we could try and all get along.>

*Euryale stares down Ogremon.*

E"Well? I'm waiting. What're you gonna do, Jolly Green Giant?"

Ogremon: "Let her go. There's no honor in fighting a handicapped opponent. You talk big, girly. But can you back up those words?"

Salamon: "You're horrible."

*They let her go & she begins massaging her wrists.*

E"Well, at least you know what honor is."

R"You were the one who was about to sucker punch--"

E"Shut up. What did you have in mind, Ogremon?"

*Eve crosses her arms and starts tapping her foot*

<Can you just make it quick?>

Ogremon drops his club.

Ogremon: "One on one, using only our firsts."

Salamon: "Or just not do it."
