Shadows of the Past

Assuming Mortal is still helping Taiyo hold Euryale up, Taiyo follows suit.

Taiyo: "Is your glider big enough for two people?"

The two follow her into the castle.

L"No, that's why I said we'll have to tow it along."

*Eventually, they find a hidden room with computers, spellbooks, & large tubes. Thiera points her Keyblade at a console. Roatha, who's thumbing through a book, looks over.*

R"What are you doing?"

T"It says it's locked."

*A beam of light shoots into the machine. Thiera dismiesses her Keyblade, sits down, & starts clicking through files.*

R"...I can't believe that worked."

T"Looks like he was smart enough to keep most of his information off-site. All I can find are a list of employees who recently quit."

R"Guess that explains where he got the hearts. These are spellbooks, by the way. That's what they're about, hearts & darkness."

N"Right now, I'm going to sleep. After that, I don't know."

"Sounds enough like relaxing to me," Noct said, getting up, and heading down a hall to wherever she slept in the castle.

"She has a keyblade now," Mortal said, "Why can't she make her own glider?"

*Artexi looks around, then shrugs*

<I guess I could sleep.>

Monu:<She could try.>

Taiyo: "She'll still need armor."

Hitomi sets to scowering through books, sitting on the floor by a shelf with one while Azuma looks about at the other stuff.

Azuma: "Where would you even get books like that here?"

L"Hence the advantage of my Glider, it's an enclosed space. How none of you have realized that by now is beyond me."

R"Probably the same place he got those books about the Gargoyles. I don't think we're going to find much here. Most of the books are either about creating Heartless, which we already know he did, or completely unrelated spells."

*He closes the book he was reading.*

Taiyo: "You don't have to bite anyone's head off."

Hitomi does the opposite of what Roatha did and continues reading.

Azuma: "Is there at least anything about that Heartless? Seemed like an above average monster knowing when the going got tough and all."

Safian:<I agree.>

"I wasn't exactly paying attention to what your glider looked like," Mortal said, "No offense."

*She crosses her arms.*

L"Whatever. Let's just get going. You'll need to place her on the...metal...flower...thing."

R"There isn't a damn thing here."

T"I think he's right. Xanatos wanted to cover his tracks."

*Thiera turns off the computer & stands up.*

T"We need to get back."

*Monu and Safian wait quietly*

And so Taiyo begins to lead Euryale to Lilith's glider.

Azuma: "Add one more to the pile of unsolved mysteries."

Mortal helps as well, "You know, now that I am paying attention, it is nice. Bit flowery, but I like it."

L"What's wrong with flowers?"

E"Well, they're not very--ahh! What's happening?!"

*The glider starts folding up around her. She starts flipping her tail, trying to push herself off of what is presumably the gayest death trap ever.*

L"Don't worry, that's just how it works. There's a viewport, but you won't have much room, or be able to control it, I'm afraid."

R"Yup."

*And so they get to the roof, Glider up, & take off. Flying through the space around the Land of Departure, they see...absolutely nothing!*

T"I don't see them around here. Do you think they're still in that world?"

R"They might have not followed the plan, & went back home."

T"I mostly meant that the Lanes Between is a big place, & maybe we're just missing them. My sister's with them, so I rather doubt that they would just forget the plan."

"I didn't say anything was wrong with flowers," Mortal said, "I like flowers." And so, she hops on her glider, and waits for the show to get on the road.

Monu:<I like your glider, Lilith.>

Taiyo: "Who's towing it along?"

Azuma: "Could it be they haven't accomplished their task yet?"

*Lilith puts her hands on her own & Mortal's Gliders & vines run between the 2.*

L"Well, thanks, then."

T"Maybe, if there's a lot of trouble in that world."

R"Should we head over that way?"

*Monu grins, but it's impossible to tell under his armor*

And so Taiyo gets ready to take off.

Azuma: "Couldn't hurt."

Mortal frowns at Lilith flowering up her Glider, but doesn't raise a fuss about it, "Alright then, lets get going."

*The Gliders pass by each other in space. Thiera & Roatha make a U-turn to follow them.*

T"How did everything go? And why are you towing my sister's Glider?"

Safian:<We've found a new keyblade wielder. She's a mermaid.>

"And since she didn't have keyblade armor, we needed to use Lilith's glider to tow her around," Mortal said, "As for the world itself, a tad alarming. We ran into Senthose, for one thing."

T"He's still alive?"

L"Apparently. He tried to remove the new girl's heart--not the physical one--& then just left. He had an Organization cloak, which I guess basically confirms that he's behind that whole mess."

R"We encountered...some of the Organization in the world we went to. They actually helped us, but a rich guy there was making Heartless. And then we were attacked by this one super-Heartless wearing, of all things, Keyblade Armor."

T"He very nearly turned Roatha into one."
