He left the kitchen and walked down the hall to Astarte's door, knocking on it, "Astarte, time to get up. We have things to do."

Astarte sighed, the sound of Hector's steps heading back down the hall. She pushed herself up to a seated position and looked down at Noct, brushing some stray hair from her eyes, "It's too soon to be awake..."

Grimm packed all of his things up, tucking his pistol inside his jacket, and took the key back to reception.

Sab instantly regretted urging Aroma to leave the bed, and leaned over to put a hand on Aroma's, "You were great last night, by the way."

Noct let out a small yawn, "Preaching to the choir." She rolled over so that she was on her back, and looked over at the door, "Guess we don't have much of a choice though."

Mortal sends Noctis a text message asking if she was going to be home anytime soon, or if they could perhaps meet up so she can get the key. As she hits send, Gabe comes out of the bathroom, squeaky clean, and dressed.

A"What are you--oh!"

*Aroma flushes red.*

A"You too."

*Thiera sends another text to everyone, "The library would probably be best." A second later, Hector gets another one, "Sure."*

*The same receptionist from the other night takes the key.*

*Eve stands up and walks over to Euryale's door, and knocks*

<Did you get the message from Thiera?>

"Maybe I can get a kiss before we get out of bed?" Sab asked, cheeks flushing red, and diverting her gaze down towards their hands.

Noct rolled out of bed to check her message. Since she wasn't really sure what her plans looked like yet, she didn't feel it would be a good time to answer Mortal, so she simply put her phone back into sleep, and stretched out in the small spot she was standing, next to the bed.

Mortal waited a few minutes, then leaned her head back, clearly annoyed. Gabe sat down next to her in bed, then asked, "Why so glum?"

"Noctis is ignoring me," Mortal replied.

Gabe frowned at that, and sat up a bit and said, "You don't know that, maybe her phone died, or maybe she isn't up yet..."

Mortal shook her head, "Maybe, but she usually has her phone handy, and just doesn't reply to people if she doesn't feel like it for whatever reason."

Taiyo: "We're meeting at the library."

E"Yeah, we'll be out in a few! Oh. Well, alright, then. 'Course, I should probably get dressed...& I don't remember the last time I had a shower, you think she can wait 15 minutes?"

*An elderly nurse in pink scrubs enters at a brisk pace.*

*The path immediately from the dorms to the library cuts through a small forested area.*

*Aroma leans forward, putting her arms around Sab.*

Astarte stopped and stared at the stretching Noctis for a moment, specifically the lower portions, and then slid out of bed herself. She stretched and walked over to the door, "What would you like for breakfast?"

Hector was now watching the morning news with Eduj, waiting for everybody else to get up.

"Yes, thank you very much," Grimm nodded to her and walked out. He set off in the direction of the park.

"My lips, please," Sab said, leaning a bit forward.

"Food, anything," Noct said, letting out a small sigh. She then walked over to Astarte, and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, "Good morning, beautiful."

No, I just left my dorm.

And so they go through the dark forboding woods.

"Morning," Astarte blushed and smiled before turning and opening the door. Passing through the hall and pulling on his coat was Sidon, who looked over at them.
"Morning Astar- oh," He paused when he spotted Noctis behind her. "Hello."
"Uh, dad, this is Noctis... my, uh, girlfriend," Astarte stepped aside. "Noctis, this is my dad, Sidon."

Hector and Eduj listened for a name of the deceased boy, or any other information.

Grimm walked around the perimeter, looking around for any sign of a stalker or creature around.

<The victim was confirmed as a student, but the principal would share no other information with us. The mayor commended this decision, citing the safety & privacy of the students. Male students who went missing from their dorms before the murder include Cameron Sorenson, Roatha Arelaz, & Jim Olsen. No female students are missing, but a "Vanessa Johnson" frequently disappears for days at a time, & there was an incident with a student found in a basement, but she has been confirmed to be in the hospital. No word on whether or not any of these issues are related.>

*After about 5-10 minutes of passing through trees, they come within sight of the library. Because no one is around, they can hear noises in the trees, but it might be squirrels, like the one running out in front of them. It bites something in the leaf litter in its teeth & begins working its way up a nearby tree, at which point it turns out that the thing in its mouth is a dead squirrel with a large, dry hole in it.*

*As he nears the forest, Grimm gets more than he bargained for when the white monster appears from behind a tree & grabs him around the midsection with both arms.*

Taiyo: "If it saves time..."

Mimiru averts her eyes from the squirrel and the two continue on, walking around the squirrel.

*Cameron starts shaking his head*

*And now they are at the steps of the library. There are a few people sitting around & leaves are falling in earnest, so things are looking up.*

Hector exchanged a glance with Eduj and they kept watching.

"Likewise," Sidon shook her hand, unable to stop looking surprised but returning the smile. "Well... I've got to be getting to work. Bye now."
Astarte gave Noct an awkward smile as Sidon disappeared down the hall, "That was a little awkward. I've rarely even had people sleep over here, let alone had someone sleep with me... Even if we didn't..."

Grimm struggled to free at least one hand to grab for his pistol with as well as kicking out at the creature.

"But we did sleep to-- Oh, well, the day is young," Noct said with a sly smile, "Give me a little time, and I'm sure I can use my feminine wiles to fix that." To cap off Noct's joke she shakes her butt a little.

*It just persists in carrying him, darting quickly through the trees. It gets progressively darker as they head inwards, & up the mountains.*

*They are now in the lobby of the library. Again, there are a few people sitting around, including a man in a green & white checkered sweater vest with square-rimmed glasses at the front desk.*

<Police have no suspects at this time. In lighter news, the missing teacher has returned to her job at Ulm.>

And so Azuma texts Thiera to say him and Mimiru are there.

Astarte blushed furiously and stepped out into the hall, grinning stupidly. She looked over her shoulder as she walked towards the kitchen, "I'll grab breakfast, by the sound of it the shower's free."

"There was a missing teacher?" Eduj tilted his head.

Grimm kept struggling for freedom of his hands and trying to look out for anything he could remember as a landmark.
