L"Not all at once, obviously. I've been tipped off that Maleficent has been visiting a world somewhere in that region. We need to search for our next lead."

R"Well, what are my options?

L"I don't know exactly. That area is not completely charted, but what we do know is that Safian, Taiyo, Mortal, & yourself all hail from that region."

Artexi:<He could just maroon him somewhere. But alright.>

Safian:<If we go to my world, I won't have to hide for once!>

Taiyo glances at Euryale and looks back to Lilith.

Taiyo: "Do we have to go to my world?"

L"It could be in danger, so yes. Besides, why wouldn't we?"

*When they enter a steel door at the end of the corridor, red emergency lights flicker on. Nero points at a table in the center of the room with a bunch of oddly shaped blocks on it.*

N"Jackpot."

*He then looks to the left, at a row of cages.*

N"...And THIS must be where they kept the Heartless. The cages aren't broken. Like they just Dark Corridor'd out. They must have had some way of keeping them in that failed when the power went out."

Taiyo: "I don't know...."

*Artexi goes and starts gathering blocks*

<How would you keep someone from Dark Corridoring out?>

Monu:<I suppose we'll have to split up again.>

N"Don't know. Some kind of magic force field?"

L"That was always my plan, but I don't seem to have all of the facts in place."

E"I told Taiyo that I didn't want to go to her home world."

*Lilith looks back at Euryale.*

L"Halloween Town? I don't know much about it."

R"We've got Halloween in Twilight Town. It's basically a lot of partying, dressing up in costumes, & going door-to-door for candy."

E"She told me that it was scary."

R"Well, yeah, the costumes & decorations are supposed to be scary."

E"That makes no sense at all."

R"Yeah, I guess it wouldn't, unless you tried it yourself."

Azuma: "And some people are pricks that go out of their way to scare a body."

*Artexi shrugs, still gathering blocks*

N"Well, we got what we came for. Finish up & let's get out of here."

R"What do you even have to be afraid of, anyway? You look like you could bench press a truck."

E"What's that supposed to mean?"

R"Uh...just that you're strong, & tough, & could probably beat up most would-be threats. And that's not even counting your like-minded gang & their magic swords."

*Euryale folds her arms & looks away.*

E"Why would anyone enjoy someone trying to scare them, legitimate threat or not?"

Azuma: "The idea is to have fun."

Taiyo: "Thanks."

Taiyo scratches behind Saifan's ear.

*Safian purrs, then heads back over to Roatha's bedside*

Monu:<Indeed.>

E"What is fun about that?"

R"I say you should try it. You don't really have anything to lose."

Azuma: "Depends if you're doing it to be malicious or not. Big difference between jumping out from behind a door shouting 'Boo' and throwing a spider at someone."

Safian:<It's the rush you get that's fun.>

E"...We have them under the ocean."

R"...Right, so, I believe we were talking about costumes?"

L"We don't even know who is going where yet."

R"Well, Safian & Taiyo are obviously going to their worlds. Master Psyche's been to mine enough times to know that there's nothing there, but I'm down for free candy."

N"Hey, old guy, where are you!?"

Cid<Stop yelling like a retard! Get inside & drink your goddamn tea!>

*They turn around to see Cid yelling out of a window.*

Safian:<I'll have to help people fit in to my world.>

*Something crosses her face that might be a grin*

Azuma: "Candy does sound pretty rad."

*Roatha stands up, putting the bed between himself & Safian's big, pointy teeth.*

R"Well, there you have it. Azuma, Taiyo, Mortal, Euryale, & I are in for Halloween Town, & the rest of you can go visit...Lion Land.>

*He gestures to Safian.*

L"Roatha...don't take this the wrong way, but I'm not sure you should be out of my sight."

*Roatha frowns.*

T"Lil, come on--"

L"Don't call me that."

T"--What good is a team if you don't trust anyone on it? We all worked really hard to get him past this darkness infection. We can take care of ourselves, & each other."

L"Well...."

*They walk inside, observing that the place has a kind of rustic charm, buried underneath a bunch of blueprints & chicken scrawl notes. The kitchen is just off of the entry way, & contains a circular wooden table with 4 chairs. They can also see a room off to the side, & more doors in the back.*

Cid<Place is kind of a mess.>

N"Kind of?"

Cid<Shut up, asswhipe. Needs a woman's touch, know what I mean?>

*He puts a pot of tea onto the stove & turns it on.*

Taiyo: "Yippy?"

Azuma: "You keen on going off to 'Lion Land?'"

Hitomi: "It'll be fine."

Safian:<Aww, I'll have to show Mortal my home later...>

Monu:<I'm sure the Pride Lands will be an...interesting experience.>

L"I'm sure there will be plenty of time for sight-seeing. For now, we should all get some rest. And maybe look into a communication spell, if we're going to keep splitting up."

Cid<Depends. Where are they, & what did you have in mind?>

*The tea pot whistles, so he gets out some cups & starts pouring.*

Taiyo: "What were we doing about where Euryale stays again?"

*Artexi dumps them on the table, still looking fucking annoyed*
