What Happened

Hey guys, I'm sorry that it took me so long to get back to normalcy. I was debating about whether or not to write this. On one hand I said I'd explain what happened, but on another I don't want to sound like I'm complaining.

I figured I probably should explain.

When we got down to Florida from our old place in Illinois the house that we were originally going to buy wasn't in livable condition, and it would have failed its inspection. We had a look at a few 'backup' homes, but they had other problems with them and they might not have passed the sales inspection either.

At least one place wasn't going to be unoccupied for a while, so we would have had to wait even longer. Ultimately we ended up buying a mobile home that we've now settled into, though it needs some roof work.

I'm sorry if it took me too long to get back into the full swing with everyone here, but on the bright side you can now officially call me trailer park trash.

It's ok, my dad's family are redneck ranchers in Montana. Trailer trash is worse though.

I just hope either the trailer suits your needs or you find another house.

You know Leafy, for what it's worth I actually used to work on a ranch cleaning out stalls, but that was back in Illinois.

You should get a house and keep your mobile home, because in Sweden house trailer vacation is a thing. There are movies made on the theme and even a song "Man ska ha husvagn" [One should have a house trailer].

Enlighten me. Canadian politics and the voters views on various topics are unfamiliar to me.

Wow, I have to say we've gotten a little far away from how this thread started xD

Canadian politics are a lot like US politics. No matter who you vote for, you still lose only there's at least three choices (four if you're too liberal for the Liberal Party and five if you're in Quebec) instead of two.

And no Donald Trump hilarity which is heartbreaking.

Hmm... all this time and I still haven't looked into what views US politicians got of Europe in general and Scandinavia especially. Oh well.

... and I still haven't written that reply to Robin about watching anime without subtitles... but it does work really well.

Since I didn't know where else to put this since the actual absence thread has a last post by none other than myself in it, I figured it might be polite to reply over here. I'm sorry that I've been spotty lately. My laptop's hinge broke in the same few days that my desktop's motherboard developed a problem. I spent all of last night setting the two of them up again, so I really am just getting to be here now. I really am sorry about all of this, and hope that I haven't held anyone up at all!

You can double post with good reason, by which I mean just go ahead & double post because you'd have to post like 5 times in a row or something before I'll care enough to do anything about it.
