Episode Three: Beneath the Deep

*Growlmon just blankets the sand with fire to see what that does. Meanwhile, Sunflowmon & Dorugamon each fire at the base of a tentacle.*

Nefertimon fires a spray of Nile Jewelery, the tentacles sink back under the water and Azuma gets the hell back.

Saberdramon takes a point blank Lightning Javelin to the chest, MegaSeadramon dives back under the water.

What happens is Scorpiomon's claws emerge from the sand beneath Growlmon, clawing at his underside.

*He grabs the claws & tries to flip the fucker over, rip his claws off, or both. Sunflowmon & Dorugamon fly to Saberdramon's aid.*

*Saberdramon plummets towards the beach, presumably regressing to Biyomon. Lekismon gets underneath to catch him*

Scorpiomon begins pulling Growlmon underneath the sand. Kyubimon digs around trying to unearth Scorpiomon or at least allow Growlmon to get out.

Nefertimon circles the water, the two aquatic Ultimates nowhere to be found. Hitomi opens up her D-Terminal and enters the Digimental menu, a symbol displaying a D-Terminal and egg on the screen. Selecting this takes her to a contact list, an egg-shaped symbol beside both Azuma and Euryale's name.

*Lekismon and Gargomon run over to help pull Growlmon out*

*Euryale has no way of knowing whatever's going on, so she just cheers Growlmon as he bites Scorpiomon's arm, raising her fists into the air.*

"Rip it off! Beat him to death with his own arm!"

*Once Biyomon is taken care of, the other 2 begin firing haphazardly into the sea. Aroma looks around at the sand underneath her feet nervously. Roatha looks for a rock or a stick to throw at Scorpiomon, just to feel like he's doing something.*

Growlmon sinks into the sand upto his ankles. Hitomi transfers the Digimental of Reliability to Azuma.

Azuma: "Patamon, Digimental Up!"

Patamon's body glows and expands flattening out into a stingray like appearance, pieces of the Digimental merging to his body.

???: "Reliable Sting, Mantaraymon!"

Mantaraymon slides into the water as MegaSeadramon rears up and blasts Dorugamon with a Lightning Javelin.

Nefertimon flies around to the shore and fires a Rosetta Stone into the sand. Scorpiomon releases Growlmon and burrows beneath the sand, but now everyone's vision is clouded by dust and sand.

*Lekismon tries to put MetalSeacramon to sleep with MoonNight Bomb, while Gargomon runs over to help Dorugamon*

*Dorugamon strafes to avoid it & fires back. Roatha & Euryale shield their eyes, the latter reaching out to try to find Taiyo. Sunflowmon notices Aroma getting increasingly panicky, & so she flies over to pick her up. Growlmon growls.*

Kyubimon tries to help Growlmon out of the sand, not having hands she bites him and pulls.

Aroma is pulled under to her waist, illicting a scream from Taiyo when she sees the scene unfold away from her. Unfortunately for Growlmon who still has a foot in the grave and a bite in his arm, Kyubimon runs to aid Aroma.

Taiyo: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"

Nefertimon flies around MegaSeadramon who fires another Lightning Javelin at Dorugamon and hammers the back of its head with Curse of Queen.

MarineDevimon spits a Guilty Black at Gargomon which manages to barely miss when Mantaraymon rams it.

*Gargomon takes aim and MarineDevimon and fires Gargo Shot at his head. Lekismon goes over to pull out Growlmon*

*Dorugamon does what he did before. Sunflowmon tries to pull Aroma out. Growlmon stares sadly at his arm wound & starts licking it.*

MarineDevimon is underwater, duking it out with Mantaraymon (the latter can't keep up with the former), so Gargomon's attack misses.

MegaSeadramon dives under the water.

Kyubimon begins digging in front of Aroma unless she tries grabbing on to her or something while Aroma slowly sinks further, Sunflowmon being the only thing keeping her up.

Taiyo's Crest flickers pink.

Taiyo: "If I didn't push her away, she would've been with us and this wouldn't have happened."

*Euryale sees what's going on & runs to Aroma, who has given in completely to terror & is now sobbing. Sunflowmon tries to get a clear shot on Scorpiomon. Meanwhile, Dorugamon can do nothing but circle overhead.*

*Lekismon keeps trying to pull Growlmon out, and is soon joined by Gragomon since he can't do anything at the the moment*

Growlmon is freed, but he's a wuss puss who should've been left buried in the sand the night before.

Taiyo's Crest glows pink and her Digivice vibrates, the words Warp Digivolution scrolling across the screen. Kyubimon stops digging as the light of evolution washes over her and she begins to change, taking on a more humanoid appearance.

The light explodes outwards, blowing the sand away, exposing Scorpiomon which begins to back away from Taomon as Taiyo runs to Aroma.

Dorugamon can see Mantaraymon swimming close to the surface, MarineDevimon actively pursuing it.

BlackWarGreymon lands outside a castle of what was once made of white stone. The surrounding walls were destroyed long ago revealing a barren courtyard and the completely exposing the age and battle worn castle.

Before its time, the castle housed the Celestials and then the Royal Knights until their dissolution. Now it is only ruins of omce glorious organizations that had served to better the Digital World.

*Dorugamon fires into the water at MarineDevimon.*

E"Growlmon, we need you!"

*Euryale tries to get Aroma away from Scorpiomon, pulling on her & hitting it. Now that it's exposed, Sunflowmon fires a Sunshine Beam at its back legs.*

*Gargomon joins Dorugamon in firing at MarineDevimon, while Lekismon use Tear Arrow on Scorpionmon's back*

A tentacle springs up and whips Dorugamon. MegaSeadramon's head peeks out of the water and fires a Lightning Javelin at Gargomon.

Taomon throws a handful of seals at Scorpiomon, exploding on contact illicting a pained groan from it.

Taomon conjures up a shield to defend Euryale from Scorpiomon's incoming claw.

BlackWarGreymon thought back to the dream it had the night before. It was the night Carly had told it Megan liked her. During that time as Agumon, it had been unaware of what she meant. The lot of the group had liked her. She was a bearer of Courage, an admirable trait. She couldn't quite explain it, so she left it at Megan liked Carly in a way that only a human can like another human.

The day before was the first time in many years it made contact with humans. Some bore resemblence to its former comrades, or the Digimon at least. Perhaps there were other similarities to its former comrades.

It had been so deep in thought that it was unaware that it had entered the castle and throne room.

Among the three thrones was Zarek.

E"Thanks!"

*Sunflowmon & Growlmon continue attacking Scorpiomon, careful not to hit Aroma, who is too busy screaming to say much of anything. Dorugamon adjusts to regain its balance & then bites into the tentacle, pulling at it & ripping at it with his claws*

*Gargomon leaps out of the way and fires at MegaSeadramon's head. Lekismon continues to attack Scorpiomon, also careful not to hit Aroma*

Taiyo attempts to move Aroma away, almost hugging her as she does so. Scorpiomon attempts to burrow into the sand until Taomon stikes it with her brush, cracking its shell.

The tentacle thrashes about as the second one comes up and strikes Dorugamon putting a large gash in his side.

MegaSeadramon rears up and exhales a flurry of icicles at Gargomon while Nefertimon peppers it with Nile Jewelery.

Overhead the sky darkens as a storm approaches.

Zarek: "You don't look so good. Hospitown may still be functioning if you can make it there."

BlackWarGreymon shakes its head, looking angry at Zarek who it sees as trespassing on hollowed ground.

BlackWayGreymon: "Leave. You have no right to be here."

Zarek: "You left the Order by your own volition. You still had a place in it even without MetalGarurumon."

BlackWarGreymon: "There is no place among Knights of justice for a monster."

*Biyomon gets up and tries to digivolve. Gargomon does the same thing he just did, while Lekismon uses Rear Arrow on the crack in the Scorpiomon's shell*

*Sunflowmon & Growlmon focus their attacks on that spot. Meanwhile, Dorugamon beats a strategic retreat.*
