Heathen Frolic

*As they approach the stadium, they see Ark.*

"Tickets are sold out, aren't they?"

Ark: <Hey! I dunno, I don't think I want to watch the game. Why, do you?>

"Yes, I've always wanted to see one played and now seemed as good an opportunity as I would ever get." Ingrid chimed in. "Why don't you want to see it?" She asked casually, "You seem like someone who would be interested in Blitzball."

Ark: <Oh, hum...>

*For a moment, he could swear he sees Ingrid stabbing herself with her staff. He shakes his head briefly before rubbing his eyes and staring at her.*

Ark: <I don't really care about it. But you have fun, if there are still any tickets for sale.>

"The ticket booth has a sold out sign on it. So I'm guessing no."

Ingrid looked over at Luna, then at the sign, "Aw, well that isn't any fun." Ingrid takes a step toward the plaza, "Alright, well, since I'm here I guess the only thing left to do is hit up a store and restock on some supplies." She said with a smile, "That fiend dropped a nice bit of gil, and I know exactly what I want to spend it on."

Ark: <Yeah, I think Imma take another nap at the inn.>

*Having been triple-ditched, Luna sets about looking for Hitomi. As it's Hitomi, she heads for the Sphere Theater, since it's farthest from the stadium.*

*Ark rents a room and takes a nap.*

*Oddly enough, Hitomi is sitting outside the sphere theater staring at her book, running her fingers a long the needle marks in the cover.*

[That stupid Soulscribe and dog got off too easy.]

Ingrid didn't mean to leave Luna alone, and actually would have preferred to stay with her since she didn't know her way around Luca, but there was nothing she could do about it now. After a few minutes of aimless wandering, Ingrid finally came across a shop and walked in, "Well, now I can get to purchasing supplies." She said with a smile as she began to look around the wares the shop had to offer.

After a while Ingrid decided to purchase the Death, Protect, and Fira spells and an ether. With that Ingrid paid off the shopkeeper and walked back outside to Luca, it was a beautiful day, but she really didn't know what to do or where to go. After some more walking Ingrid found herself at what looked like a plaza with a fountain at the center. Ingrid took a seat at one of the benches and enjoyed the surroundings.

"Hey. Whatcha doin'?"

"Nothing."

"Oh. C'mon, I bet we can find someone to restore your book before we go."

*Hitomi looks up at Luna.*

"R... Really?"

"No, I like crushing the hopes & dreams of young White Mages. Yes, really."

*Hitomi stares at Luna, her eye twitching.*

"Umm...what is it...?"

*Luna backs up slightly.*

"Seriously, can it be restored?"

"I don't know, I'm not a book restorer. I'd say probably, though."

"Okay."

*An old guy with an insanely long beard & no hair anywhere else is intimately examining the book with some kind of magnifying eye piece.*

<It'll need a new cover. As for blood stains, they can be removed, but it's a time-consuming & tricky process. The cover will cost 100 Gil. To remove the stains, it'll be 500. Honestly, I think you're best buying a new copy or reading it as-is. Sorry.>

*He hands the book back to them.*

"It's no problem."

*She hands the book back to the man and six-hundred gil.*

*He pulls a red hunk of Flan out of a cooler & slops it onto the book. Slight flames are rising from it & they can hear chewing noises.*

"Errm...maybe it's best if you don't watch this...besides, we need to get Ark & Ingrid & get ready to go, anyway."

"I suppose."

*Since watching out of curiosity will probably result in the books destruction, she heads for the exit.*
