Heathen Frolic

*Ark wakes up being nudged with the blunt end of a spear.*

"C'mon. We're leaving after we find our Black Mage & get Hitomi's book back."

*Ark shrieks like a girl and rolls off the bed, proceeding to crawl away from Luna, staring at her like she's a giant human/serpent hybrid out to get him.*

Ark: <I hate snakes!>

*Hitomi stares at Ark like he's some kind of idiot which given Hitomi's wide array of emotions is really just the same look she gives everyone.*

[Does he have a brain parasite?]

*Luna says nothing as she leaves the room.*

*Ark rubs his eyes and gets up.*

Ark: <That's twice in one day. Stupid nightmare... wait, what are you guys doing here? How did it go with the Jyscal guy?>

*In case Ark does have a brain parasite and it doesn't want to starve to death and decides to go after Hitomi, she leaves as well.*

Ark: <(Evil snake things.)>

*He follows them out.*

*The group sets about looking for Ingrid.*

Ingrid is still lounging about in the plaza, enjoying the warm weather since she doesn't have enough gil to enjoy anything else.

*Tired from the search & the sun, Luna practically sits on her.*

"Oh! I didn't see you there...are you ready to go?"

Ingrid sees Luna come into view, but didn't expect her to sit down on her. When she did Ingrid let out an entirely too high pitched, "Eep!" Ingrid's face flushed a bit, but she answered the Guado casually. "Yes, I'm ready, I was just relaxing." She said with a weak smile, the blush falling off her face slowly. "So, where to next?" She asked.

"The book restorer's shop."

"Oh...right...."

*They head back there & pick up the book, which looks good as new.*

"So, now what?"

Ingrid shrugged, "I don't know, I figured you were the leader here."

*Hitomi holds the book almost like she's hugging it, and that's about it.*

*Ark stares at Hitomi as she hugs the book.*

Ark: <Hum. Glad it's fixed.>

"Well, I guess there's no sense continuing the Pilgrimage until we deal with this other problem. The rebel Crusaders said there was an event at Baaj Temple. Or we could go back to the Calm Lands. I think we should definitely steer clear of Bevelle, though."

"What would there be to gain from returning to the Calm Lands?" Ingrid asked, "I thought we already did everything there when we entered the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth." Ingrid ran a hand through her hair and continued, "Also, what do you mean 'event', whats going on in Baaj?"

Ark: <I say we go and crash their party.>

"There are a few things there. Like Belgemine. And besides, we have to go back there to finish the pilgrimage anyway. As far as Baaj goes, the claim is that Yevon enticed Sin to destroy it so that they could collect Sinspawn. Though, now that I think of it, in order to get there, we'll need some kind of boat."

"Remiem Temple."

"Is there anything to be gained from Remiem Temple, I was under the assumption that it was abandoned after the Scar was gored into the Calm Lands, with nothing more to be gained from it." Ingrid said, looking from Luna to Hitomi, then back again.

"We'll know if that's the decided destination."

"True enough, I won't complain if we go." Ingrid said, "I do enjoy visiting different places."

Ark: <Baaj! Baaj! Baaj! We can probably get a boat around here.>
