Ingrid casts death on one of the Ronso, and Fira on the other.

*Luna stumbles back as the Ronso are buried in snow & rock. Unfortunately, Ark's tactic also has the effect of collapsing a significant portion of the path.*

*Hitomi falls back away from whatever snow might be attempting to bury her.*

[They're both idiots.]

Ingrid looks at the collapsed path and shrugs, "So I guess we're heading back to the Calm Lands."

Ark: <Stop being negative, it isn't hard to climb if we don't have a couple of Ronso warriors trying to bite our heads off. Of course they're probably not really down yet, so I'd appreciate it if you could stop being annoying and helped.>

"And what happens when we get over it and find an entire settlement of Ronso, hell bent on protecting their home and avenging their fallen? We would lose our one escape route." Ingrid said.

"One way or the other, we HAVE to get up Gagazet. Maybe one of my Aeons can get us across?"

*A hand bursts from the snow like the end of a B movie.*

"We should probably decide what we're doing soon, at any rate. That probably constituted the 'first move.'"

"Well, lets kill a bunch of furry, blue lion people then." Ingrid said with a shrug.

*Hitomi looks towards the hand, an ice crystal popping from the snow and through the hand.*

*Ark dashes forward and slashes through the ice and the hand as soon as Hitomi casts her spell.*

"I don't think we need to attack them while they're down...."

"It's currently the only advantage we have."

Ingrid stands there, looking at the two attacking a hand. "How many Ronso are we going to be killing?"

"I would hope none!"

"If we are not going to kill any of these people then perhaps the grenade was a bad call."

"What was your first clue?"

Ark: <It worked. So now that we cut a hand off, they're probably really mad.>

"I think they were mad before the hand thing, though that most likely didn't help matters." Ingrid said.

<Cut off? Don't flatter yourself.>

*One of the Ronso finally manages to free himself & aims a kick at Ark. Before he can connect, however, Luna hurls a lance of energy that explodes, causing both of them to fall off of the mountain.*

[What happened to being against killing any Ronso?]

*Hitomi stands in place blankly staring in Luna's direction as if she's supposed to know what she's thinking.*

Ingrid looked on at Luna's display of pacifism and let out a sigh. "So, now that that is over, what do you suggest we do now?"

"Find out why Hitomi is staring at me like that."

*Hitomi's eyes widen in surprise and she quickly averts her gaze staring at the ground.*

"S... Sorry."

"Now that that crisis is averted, what are we going to do about getting up the mountain? We still have the rest of the Ronso to cut through before we are clear." Ingrid said, a bit shocked to see emotion coming out of Hitomi.

"No, I didn't mean...it's just...I'm sorry...?"

*She glances at the path.*

"Well, there's no other way, we'll just have to take one of the Aeons across."
