Tae: <Ouch.>

Hawkmon: <Yeah.>

*Tae smiles at Hitomi awkwardly, then turns to Salamon.*

Tae: <Can you sniff her or something?>

*Salamon looks at him like "What the fuck did you just say to me?"*

Salamon:<Anta baka?>

"She's probably at the park."

Tae: <Hum... Iie?>

Hawkmon: <What?>

Tae: <(I don't really know either.)>

Hawkmon: <To the park!>

Salamon:<The park we were at this afternoon or is there another? It would probably be best if you led the way.>

*Tae finds himself sort of gawking at Hitomi's glasses.*

Hawkmon: <Lead the way!>

*Hitomi looks at Tae then looks away.*

[Is there something on my glasses?]

*At the park, it's fairly dark and there's no visible sign of Taiyo. A swing creaks in the wind, and some leaves rustle, but that's about it.*

Hawkmon: <She ain't here.>

Tae: <Maybe she's stripping as she walks.>

Hawkmon: <What?>

Tae: <I saw this movie... never mind.>

*Hitomi stares at the ground.*

[Why did he start suddenly acting like this?]

Salamon:<You say without at least looking for her.>

*Salamon wanders off to look behind some bushes, Hitomi following her.*

[I get a little nervous and start acting like an idiot. Great.]

Hawkmon: <Okay, this is boring.>

*Hawkmon digivolves.*

Aquilamon: <Climb aboard. Or something. We'll find her in no time.>

*Aquilamon feels her stomach growl and like she won't be able to maintain the form for long. Both of them remember the last time they ate was whatever they raided from Euryale's fridge which they probably burned through long ago. As it's not a big ol' central park like the previous one and more of what you might have at the end of your street, flying would probably be pointless when at most the only place to be would be behind a tree.*

Salamon:<Do you think he's almost done being dumb? Nope, not here.>

*Salamon pulls her head out of some bushes and wanders over to a different one.*

"It's not his fault. He's male and Taiyo's... She's..."

[Am... Am I jealous of her? But how? Why? Doesn't she have feelings for Euryale?]

Salamon:<Weird. And probably doesn't like him in way other than as a friend. Not in here either.>

*Tsune resumes standing on a sidewalk presumably holding a shirt and looking like a yob. For someone who once tried to talk about being friends, they sure don't practise what they preach.*

*By now the sun has set and even with weird creatures, New York during the night is probably more dangerous than it was during the day.*

*Tae doesn't remember raiding Euryale's fridge because he never did, only Hawkmon did, which makes him incredibily weak, which is something he's been trying to hide since the last two times he tried to eat he was taken to a police station and kicked out of a house. Aquilamon flies into the air and looks down trying to spot Taiyo before landing back down and degenerating.*

Tae: <Did you find her?>

*Aquilamon sees mostly bushes and shrubs and a whopping three trees. Nothing behind any of the bushes or shrubs and the top branches and the like for the trees prevented her from seeing anything around their base except for the lone sumac which had nothing near it leaving only a fir which was a few feet from the sycamore Hitomi and Salamon were near.*

[That makes me feel a little better... I still don't understand why I care so much about what he thinks of me or what I think of him.]

Salamon:<Found her.>

*Underneath the sycamore tree, Salamon stands nodding her head as if to say there's someone on the other side.*

Salamon:<Should I tell the other two or...>

*Tae walks around the tree reluctantly, holding his hand up near his face in case he needs to cover his eyes.*

Hawkmon: <(She's not naked.)>

Tae: <(You can't be sure.)>

*She's the same way she was after the Shellmon attacked which was just jeans an a pink tiger print bra. The only difference is her hair isn't in a ponytail. She's curled up beside BlackGabumon asleep, and shivering a lot.*

Taiyo:<Not... going back.>

"What... What should we do?"

*Tae takes off his jacket and crouches down in front of her. He lays it over her back and wraps it around her while blushing somewhat and looking away from her.*

Tae: <(Taiyo?)>

T"I'm getting sick of the narrator judging me."

*She goes back to the house to give Euryale her shirt back.*

*Taiyo stops shivering long enough to cringe and groan like she's in pain. Salamon nudges BlackGabumon. More like rocking back and forth headbutting him than nudging him.*

BlackGabumon:<Huh? What... What's happening?>

*BlackGabumon sits up and looks at Taiyo then at Hitomi, Tae, and their partners.*

BlackGabumon:<What... What are you doing here?>

Salamon:<Isn't that something we should be asking?>

*Aside from that mark on her back burning, it was an uneventful few blocks.*

*Tae makes an effort to pick Taiyo up and turns to Hitomi.*

Tae: <Let's take her back to Euryale's.>

*He discovers that not only is she cold, but she isn't all that heavy either. While being picked up, she mumbles something no one can understand. Again she groans and cringes.*

BlackGabumon:<She doesn't want to go back there.>

Salamon:<Why not?>

BlackGabumon:<I really don't know.>

*Salamon sits down and scratches behind her ear.*

Salamon:<She's going to have to deal with it. There's nowhere else to go and (maybe) someone will be bothered by her being dead in a park.>

Tae: <She can be mad at us after she wakes up. Let's go.>

*Tae walks back towards Euryale's house, making sure to look always straight forward. Hawkmon follows.*

*Outside Euryale's house, Hitomi knocks on the door. It's the kind of knock you might be lucky to hear if you have your ear pressed against the door. After knocking a second time, Salamon headbutts the door.*

*Tsune answers the door, holding her hand behind her back.*

T"I'm warning you, I have a gu--oh, it's just you guys."

*Hitomi stares blankly at her. Salamon buries her head under her front paws.*

Salamon:<Argh. What is that door made from, oak?>

[Who else would it be?]

"We brought her back."

T"Salamon, most people don't have real wooden doors. Well...Medusa probably wouldn't like it, but she's out, so come on in."
