[Today gets worse still.]

Tsukaimon:<I don't even know how I can see your butt since you're holding my ear in your mouth. Unless your body roates one hundred-eighty degress. In which case please let me go 'cause that's gross and scary.>

*She lets go of his ear & forces him behind her.*

"Any more excuses?!"

*She points at her eyes, then at Taiyo, then walks back into the kitchen.*

Tae: <Go up!>

*Aquilamon flies up to the street and drops Tae and Hitomi off before firing laser rings at Minotarumon.*

Tae: <Now we need a bath. Again. Euryale's mom won't be happy.>

*He stares at Hitomi awkwardly.*

*Allina shrieks, her Digivice glowing as MagnaAngemon opens up a gate to try and clear the mist. Meanwhile, Razz struggles to break free of whatever lifted him as Veemon also digivolves.*

[I don't know what I'm doing here. Apologizing didn't work, I didn't try very hard to ask Tsuney for help, and I think my only other choices are to ask Euryale's mom for help or to just go away. But if I go away how can I fix anything?]

*She gulps and stands up taking her shoes off. After standing in hesitation she slowly follows Helen to the kitchen keeping some distance between herself and Helen.*

"Mrs... Mrs. Rak-sha-shi?"

*Staring at her ass, Tsukaimon slowly backs away.*

Tsukaimon:<It's very nice. I'm so jealous of it that I wish mine was like it.>

[I suppose it's a good thing I didn't take Euryale's suggestion.]

*Water splashes about as the laser rings hit. Minotarumon struggles to stand, data leaking for its legs, arms, and torso.*

*The mist clears revealing a pair of rape trees.*

*Aquilamon blows a laser gust towards it.*

Tae: <Hitomi, is everything all right?>

*He tilts his head and stares into her eyes.*

Allina: <UGLY!!!>

Razz: <Stop yelling!>

*AeroVeedramon rams the tree holding Allina while MagnaAngemon's body glows golden and he rockets towards the Cherrymon holding Razz, holding his sword out aiming to run it through.*

[Maybe. I don't know.]

"Yes."

*Minotarumon falls to its knees. It raises its arm, the machinery of its Demon Arm begins to initiate as it struggles to keep its arm up. Tylomon jumps from the water, biting its arm.*

*Cherrymon shakes, some leaves and cherries fall off, but it keeps its grip on Allina. From within its foliage multiple cherry pits are shot out at AeroVeedramon. The other Cherrymon makes no indication that it was hurt as the Excalibur enters its trunk and gets wedged inside. Still hanging on to Razz it attacks in the same fashion that the other one attacked AeroVeedramon.*

*Helen doesn't look away from whatever it is she's chopping. There's some red liquid on the cutting board.*

<What?>

"Good. You can go now. But be advised, if I hear you insult my ass again, I will hunt you down."

<I can fly.>

[I don't know what I should say.]

"Can you tell me how I could show Euryale that I didn't mean to hurt her? Or something. Apologizing didn't work, and I really don't know what to do."

*Tsukaimon turns and scurries off before taking flight.*

*Aquilamon claws at the Demon Arm and showers Minotarumon with laser rings after flying back up. Tae frowns briefly, then smiles and nods.*

Tae: <Okay then. You know you can talk to me about anything, right? I know it's hard, being away from home, and I really like being your... f-friend.>

Allina: <Stupid old tree, put me down right now!>

*AeroVeedramon's surrounded by a barrier of wind that blocks the attacks before firing an energy beam at the Cherrymon's trunk. MagnaAngemon sends razor feathers to intercept the incoming projectiles and tries his best to pull the Excalibur out.*

"Okay."

[What?]

*The clawing does little, but scratch the metal of the Demon Arm. The raised arm begins to droop, the Demon Arm's start up begins to cease. Tylomon backs off and charges followed by a tidal wave which she uses to exit the sewer reverting back to Gatomon. The tidal wave slams into Minotarumon prompting it to explode into data.*

Gatomon:<That was gross.>

*Splinters explode out from its trunk some of which tear at the back and sides of Allina's shirt as they go through the air and clatter to the ground. A tentacle hastily lashes out from the foliage whipping at AeroVeedramon's face. Excalibur begins to loosen up as three tentacles lash out. Two going for MagnaAngemon's wings, the other for what part of his face is exposed.*

*She turns around with a stoney expression on her face.*

<I'm afraid you're going to have to cut off one of your fingers as a sacrifice. Here.>

*She holds out the bloody steak knife that has raw meat clinging onto it, point-first.*

*Tsune & Quetzalmon begin to track down Hitomi & Tae.*

[At this point, I actually believe her.]

*She steps forward to take the knife.*

*On Tsune's Digivice, two faint signals can be seen in the northwest.*

[She's probably thinking I'm stupid again.]

*Tae sighs and walks over to Aquilamon as she lands and degenerates back to Hawkmon, petting her around the neck.*

Hawkmon: <They just keep coming.>

Tae: <Well, keep fighting! You're the only one here who actually ate the last few days so you don't get to complain.>

Hawkmon: <I wasn't! ...I'm sorry I did that to Euryale's fridge.>

Tae: <It isn't me you should-->

Hawkmon: <No, I mean I'm sorry I didn't share or whatever. I couldn't have guessed we wouldn't be able to get our hands on more food.>

*She turns to Gatomon and Hitomi and nods as if passing the apology on to them as well.*

*Allina shrieks again and widens her eyes as she notices the tentacles going for MagnaAngemon.*

Allina: <Digimental up!>

*MagnaAngemon slide armordigivolves to Pegasusmon and darts into the sky, showing the Cherrymon with shooting stars. AeroVeedramon groans when slapped and than grabs the vine and pulls it off of Cherrymon before sending a storm of wind blades flying into its foliage.*

Razz: <Let us go!>

Pegasusmon: <Allina, I'm tired...!>

Allina: <I know, just keep fighting for a little while longer! It'll be all right, we'll find the others and stop this soon!>

*She follows them.*

*Helen jerks the knife back.*

<What are you, crazy?>

"You know Euryale better than I do. I don't know what it takes to cheer her up, but wouldn't you?"

[I'm an idiot.]

*The signals get progressively stronger as they approach.*

=====================================================

*The two merely stare at the events unfolding in front of them unsure what to say or think. In the sky behind Hitomi and Gatomon, a serpent-like figure can be seen approaching.*

*Branches and leaves fall off from Cherrymon. Data dripping from where the branches were cut. Another tentacle lashes out at AeroVeedramon turning Allina's right sleeve into a short sleeve as the tentacle and chunk of fabric head towards AeroVeedramon's chest. Data dribbles out from where the Excalibur had been. The Cherrymon shakes and real slowly moves back as its pelted with the shooting stars, chunks of bark flying off every which way.*

*She keeps following.*

<When you apologized to Stheno, did that help?>

"I don't think it did. She was still crying and ran upstairs. I know apologizing isn't an instant fix any problem, but it didn't seem to help at all."

*The signals keep getting stronger. Up ahead she sees them by a large fissure exposing the sewers.*

*She walks around the fissure.*

"Hey. We found a portal."

Helen<So you apologized & she ran to her room & started crying? Seem familiar?>

"...Yes."

[Did I only make them feel worse by apologizing?]

*The two turn to face Tsune.*

Gatomon:<Where is it?>

"Docks near Big Ben, I guess."

<Now what do you think Stheno's going to do in a half hour or so?>

"Stop crying?"

=====================================================

Gatomon:<So should we go there today or wait till' everyone is present and accounted for?>

"Probably the latter. I guess it leads to Millenniummon's lair."

Helen<I was thinking, "Play with dolls," but yes. So, what have we learned?>

"I don't really know. If I wait Euryale will stop crying?"

Gatomon:<Somehow I doubt it'll take us there.>

Helen<No matter how old they get, kids are still kids.>
