The Hollow Warden

*Without so much as turning its head, the knight continues on slowly walking forward, abruptly turning the spear around and slamming the spear's blunt end into Protoman while proceeding on its merry way.*

*I assume everyone just stares at Alto like they just peed on the carpet. After doing that, Kelphy blushes and goes back to watching Iceman and the weird knight. The mayor steps forward.*

Mayor: <And who would you be?>

"Alto Harmonia. A classmate of their's. You were aware that the entire lobby was pumped full of sleeping gas and you were sealed inside yes? I had to hack the door and break it open so rescue crews could get inside. What's going on here?"

*Protoman goes flying into the wall of the area, collapsing.*

Zeno: <Are you alright!?>

Protoman: <Just fine...>

*The Navi stands to his feet and prepares to strike again.*

*Spider watches as the knight casually pimpsmacks the other Navi helping out and immediately jumps in front of the knife, standing about 5 feet away, a safe distance from his spear.*

Spider: <Seeing as how you're hostile... you won't take another step forward!>

*Spider draws two cards, one in each hand, and simultaneously throws both of them, one aiming for the knight's head and the other for his left leg.*

Mayor: <Weird hostile knight strolling across a darker than usual network and attacking everyone's Navi.>

*He shrugs, sighs, and points at a port on his stereo.*

*The knight holds his spear out, continuing to walk forward, and smacks Spider across the head with the plain side of the spear's blade. The cards fly through its armor and disappear into its body, leaving no damage whatsoever behind.*

Kelphy: <W-What? Iceman, trying freezing its legs!>

*Iceman hurls a barrage of snowballs at the knight's feet from behind. He continues to step forward, shattering the ice.*

"On it" Alto moves to the port, "Jack in Axl.EXE!"

Axl jacks in.

<"Ready?">

"Ready"

<"Alright then, battle routine set!">

"Execute!" Axl dashes forward and fires his guns at the knight, "Trick Shot!"

*Spider feels the pain of the spear and goes sliding into the ground. He gets back up after.*

Spider: <He just smacked me aside... he could have done much more damage if he wanted to... what is he up to?!>

*Spider runs in front of the knight again, this time standing 10 feet away. He pulls out 10 cards per hand, holding two per finger, coming to a total of 20 cards in all. He throws all 20 of them at the knight at once. The resulting explosion would be extremely dangerous to those nearby.*

Spider: <Hey, you! Get out of the way!>

*Spider points at Protoman.*

*Protoman nods and jumps off a nearby wall, back away from the explosion that's about to occur.*

*The knight holds its spear and spins it violently as the cards explode upon it. When the smoke clears the knight is unscathed, and still moving forward. Upon arriving near Spider, its grabs him by the collar and throws him backwards up the path, over its head, and right into Axl's shots. Down the path are a couple programs floating about. The knight slashes forward and they both desintegrate into blocks of loose data.*

*A few more files vanish from the mayor's laptop.*

Kelphy: <(This isn't good, that thing, whatever it is, is unstoppable...)>

Mayor: <It's close to having cleared my entire computer.>

"Kelphy... lend me Iceman's navi chip" Alto tells her, "I'm going to put that Knight on ice."

"Are you sure I'm ready to use that?" Axl asks.

<"Now or never">

*Spider shouts in pain as the bullets hit him.*

Spider: <Hey Edge, not doing so good out here... what the hell is he?!!>

Edge: <I... don't know. I've never seen anyone this strong before.>

*Spider gets to his feet and pulls out another card, throwing it at the knight, then jumps back, standing beside Axl and catching word of what he was saying.*

Spider: <What do you mean, "That"?>

Zeno: <Protoman... go for a charge shot.>

Protoman: <Got it!>

*Protoman begins readying a charged attack.*

*The knight holds its spear up and black lighting shoots from the tip towards Protoman.*

*Kelphy widens her eyes and looks up from her laptop.*

[He knows my name?]

Kelphy: <O-Okay!>

*She takes out her Iceman chip and hurls it at Alto.*

OOC: Everyone has a chip of their own Navi in their inventory, with the exception of Kelphy, who gave hers to Alto just now. I will add each chip's effect to the Database. The only person who can't use a Navi chip is the Navi on the chip, since it already has the ability without the chip. Simple enough?
Example for Axl: Uses Iceman chip. Turns into Iceman.
Example for Kelphy: Uses Iceman chip. Nothing happens.
Example for everyone else: Uses Iceman chip. Launches an ice attack.
So, basically, the only thing you can do with your own Navi chip is give it to someone else.

Alto catches it between his fingers.

"Lets do this!" he spins the chip on his finger and presses something on his PET that opens a secondary chip slot. "Axl begin Navi Style!"

Lines of energy run over Axl's body and go into his emblem which lights up, "Standing by"

Alto slots in the chip and the secondary port closes.

""Axl Navi Style Initiated!"" they both say at the same time. Axl is enveloped in icy winds that spin around his body. His emblem changes to Icemans and the winds slam into his body before it turns to data. The data re-configures and the icy winds blow outward. Axl lands on the ground now changed into Iceman.

"Axl Iceman Style complete!" Axl wastes no time in launching Iceman's signature snowstorm attack on the Knight whilst motioning Iceman to join in.

*Spider's eyes widen a bit upon witnessing what had just happened to the other Navi, but then changes his expression back to normal and looks back at the knight.*

Spider: <I see... that's a unique power you've got there. But... does it work?>

*Spider does a backflip into the air and throws 3 cards at the knight's feet.*

*Protoman slides to the left and dodges the lightning, agape at the ridiculous power Axl had unleashed.*

Zeno: <Dang!... That's hardcore...>

Protoman: <No kidding. Now, let's do this.>

*He rushes towards the knight, his charge now complete, and lets loose a large sword attack.*

*Iceman joins Axl(Iceman) and they completely freeze the knight. Spider's cards hit, causing an explosion, which Protoman dives into for his charged slash. When the flames clear, the Knight is gone.*

Kelphy: <(We actually did it?)>

-----

Iceman: <How bad is it?>

-----

Mayor: <Oh, it's BAD. I lost almost everything.>

Zeno: <Yeah! Awesome!>

Protoman: <That explosion was a tad close to me, if you're wondering.>

*His armor has some singes on it.*

Spider: <Is it really over...?>

*Spider touches the ground and falls on one knee.*

Spider: <I've never fought anyone that tough before...>

Edge: <We... we did it? Oh yeah, we did it! This'll go down in history as my first great achievement!>

"I can try to recover the data Mayor" Alto suggests. "It might take awhile but I can probably get at least 40% of it back."

"This might not be over yet guys be on your guard" IcedAxl says.

Mayor: <Oh... I... we'll discuss this later. In private.>

Kelphy: <D-dad, something's wrong...!>

*Black lightning starts running throughout the background, and then darting past them in growing number. Soon, all they see are lightning bolts flying everywhere. A flash of light blinds them and they're jacked out without even noticing it.*

*Right after each Navi returns to its PET, feeling completely drained out, the two laptops, the TV and the stereo all go off, smoke rising slowly from the PET ports.*

*Edge stops his glory-hogging and falls over in surprise.*

Edge: <What the hell?!!>

*His PET flies out of the port and lands on him.*

Spider: <What's going on now?! I got jacked out...>

Edge: <I... don't know.>

"THE FUCK?"

<"The shit?">

Axl and Alto curse at the same time humorously.

Zeno: <Yowch!>

*He flies back from the impact of the Navi chip hitting his PET.*

Zeno: <Okay... what the hell just happened?>

~The Next Day: 11am~

~Alto~

*Alto is in his mom's basement playing D&D at home doing computer shit when a white envelope icon appears on the top left corner of his PET's screen followed by a beep.*

*Edge is walking around town when a white envelope icon appears on the top left corner of his PET's screen followed by a beep sound.*

*Minato is still in bed when his PET wakes him up with a beep. A white envelope icon has appeared on the top left corner of its screen.*

*Zeno is watching a reporter talking about the city hall incident on TV when a white envelope icon appears on the top left corner of his PET's screen followed by a beep sound.*
