In Zanarkand

"I don't think they really have a choice in the matter."

*Luna jumps into the smoke, smacking two guards in the face with the spear. The other group takes aim at Hitomi & starts shooting.*

*She ducks sending another Firaga at the guards.*

*Ark dashes towards the group shooting at Hitomi and starts slashing at them.*

*Of the pair who are left, one breaks out a night stick & smacks at his head. The other turns on a walkie-talkie & starts shouting into it. Meanwhile, Luna defeats all of the guards around her with Spiral of Death.*

*Hitomi casts Thundara on the guard yelling into the walkie-talkie.*

*Ark groans and stumbles back, but then takes the chance to poke the walkie-talkie away with his dagger before stabbing at the other one.*

*For the time being, they're left alone, with the still-caged-&-suspended-25-feet-up Ingrid. The fires in the crane's controls have largely gone out.*

Casts firaga on the crane.

*Hitomi looks at the smoldering controls for something to either cut, set on fire, or damage further in hopes it'll lower the crane.*

*Ark hurls his dagger upward towards the cage's lock straight from beneath it so as to avoid hurting Ingrid. Not because he thinks it'll work, but because he can't think of any other way to help right now. He then moves over to the controls and stares at them over Hitomi's shoulder.*

*The crane opens & Ingrid breaks her leg in the fall. Luna starts digging for a potion as a trio of guards runs towards the destroyed crane, this time wielding flamethrowers & followed by another Negator.*

*Hitomi turns around shoving Ark out of the way as he's far too close. Also she fears his brain parasite might escape and latch on to her.*

*Ark snatches his second dagger from Hitomi and swings it past her, glaring at her, as he shoots towards the incoming guards and hurls a smoke bomb at them.*

"I don't have a potion, but we need to heal her & get in the boat!"

OOC: I apologize for that awful piece of dialogue.

Ingrid falls and grabs her leg, "Son of a bitch!" She called out, grabbing her leg.

"Use a potion."

*Hitomi begins to head to the boat.*

*Luna sheathed her spear, ran up, & grabbed Ingrid under the arm pits.*

"Bear with me."

*She's dragging Ingrid along with her to the boat. The guards recover & one pulls out a damn grenade while the other 2 try to flank her.*

"Hey, that guy has a grenade!" Ingrid said pointing. "Do me a favor, pull faster."

*Hitomi's standing by the motorboat waiting patiantly for the lack of a better term for the others.*

*Ark slashes at the grenade dude while trying to Steal the grenade from him. He hurls a Potion at Ingrid.*

*Amazingly, all of that shit works, but Ark finds himself surrounded & the other 2 start razing him with their flamethrowers. To make matters worse, 3 more guards are coming from the other side.*

Ingrid catches the potion, and downs it. Leg now magically healed she stands up and starts to back up towards the boat. With the other Negator there she wouldn't be much help to anyone.

*She puts her spear away, running up & grabbing Ark, who is slightly burned, in one hand, firing an Azure Javelin into the guards with the other. By the time she gets back to the boat, the 3 new guards are blocking her path.*

Ingrid attacks one with her stave to create a distraction so Luna can get through.

*This causes enough of a distraction for Luna to bowl 2 of them over, jump onto the boat, & cut the line.*

"Someone get the engine!"

*The guards begin shooting at them, getting closer to the boat.*
