Golden Age: Revival

*Azuma finally decides to stand up.*

"I don't know. The last vampire was bad enough that it was really hard to kill. Or at least I think it was, I don't know how that went down. But she's... Not a full vampire?"

E"There's no one else here!"

*She tases Kyoujin, which Euryale takes as incentive to run up & smash her palm up into the woman's chin.*

R"That does not answer my question."

"I said I don't know. Nero's the self-proclaimed leader, ask him."

R"We left him behind!"

Kyoujin dropped on the ground and screamed again. When she stopped feeling the effects, she sat up wiped tears out of her eyes with her right hand, which had just turned back.
"Oww...."

Luna, presumably being let go when the Japanese woman was hit, rolled a few feet and jumped up to her feet, pulling her pistol from the inside of her jacket and also snatching her phone from her pocket.
"I think we should get an ambulance or two here.."

"So contact him."

*Allina lands next to Roatha & co. and just listens quietly, still feeling somewhat sick.*

*Roatha starts to dial the number, but then everyone gets slashed in the back. While they're on the ground, Deborah stands in the middle of them all & laughs hysterically.*

<I can't believe you fell for that trick! Too bad, now you're all dead!>

E"You can do that if you want. I'm going to go find the others."

*Allina groans and rolls over, glaring at Deborah.*

Allina: <Who the hell is she, anyway?!>

*Azuma slowly stands up using his sword for balance.*

"Last time I have a concious."

Mimiru:<Blondie, get to work on fixing everyone.>

<As if I'll allow you!>

*She charges towards Allina, her right hand deforming into a blade.*

*Ice forms under Deborah's feet. Mimiru scrambles on over to Taiyo who's trying not to cry.*

Taiyo:<It hurts...>


Mimiru:<Hey, can that thing you did at the mansion work the others?>

*Allina shrieks and draws her rapier. It's surrounded by light energy and she prepares to parry Deborah's blade if Azuma's spell fails to stop her.*

Allina: <Just a minute!>

While Luna called for an ambulance or two for the injured Japanese women, Kyoujin had stood back up and run off to find the others, one hand still remaining a tentacle.

Noctis is chillin' on a beach in Australia, soakin' up the sun, and sippin' a nice, iced drink through a bendy straw.

"Maybe."

*Roatha's wounds are already clearing up as Deborah jumps back from Allina & hisses. The others walk in on this scene.*

*Thiera looks out the window.*

"Why don't you go socialize? I see a cute tourist girl you might be interested in, on the public part of the beach."

*On the other, much nicer, end of the beach was a private beach house. Depending on how much Noctis looked into this area, she may or may not know that it's owned by Thiera Psyche, a ridiculously rich British businesswoman & archaeologist.*

She did know this, but as a rich girl she sometimes fancied slumming it with the general population, so she continued to sip her drink, and sunbathe, this was a vacation after all, why would she worry about networking with someone like Thiera at a time like this.

"Deborah?!" Kyoujin called out, looking shocked.

<They attacked me! But I'm not the weak girl I used to be. Now I have powers to defend myself, too!>

E"Don't listen to her. She's lying. I can smell it."

Kyoujin stood there, just staring at Deborah for a few moments.

Luna shook her head, "I have to agree wit-"

Kyoujin held up her hand and Luna stopped talking, "Deborah... how did you get your power?"

Noct finished her drink and went out for a swim. After a few minutes of that she returned to her beach chair to soak up more sun. "Ah... this is the good life..."

*Ari widens his eyes and stares at Thiera.*

Ari: <....W-What?>

*Allina starts casting healing spells on everyone.*

Allina: <Stupid freaky vampire chick.>

<You heard me. Get. And for God's sake, don't use the old "need help with your sunscreen?" line.>

*She shoos him out the door, in the direction of the beach.*

<Well, that's a dumb question, isn't it? How did any of you get your powers?>

*Roatha stands up.*

R"Liar. Nobunaga killed a girl & infected her corpse with vampire cells. That's all you are. No one's going to fall for it."

<You expect her to believe you over me? You really ARE crazy.>

*Ari looks around mortified, and slowly starts walking towards the girl.*

[I'm sure she told me to do this for a reason.]

*When he arrives near Noctis, he just stands there staring into her eyes blankly.*

Noctis notices Ari, and tries her best to ignore the creepy, staring weirdo. "Always one at every beach..." She mumbled to herself in frustration. After a while Noctis finally turns to him and asks, "Can I help you?"
