Sins of the Father

*Ark sighs and reluctantly turns to Hitomi.*

Ark: <...You okay?>

"I don't know."

*She stands up and goes to the airship.*

*After the airship doors close & it takes off.*

Captain<Summoner Luna came through and announced that she was going to sleep. Is everything okay? What did you learn?>

"The current theory is that an Unsent is behind the curtain." Ingrid said, looking out the window, "As for everything being okay, I am unsure."

*Hitomi goes and sits outside on the deck.*

Captain<What Unsent? Have you came across any suspicious Unsent recently?>

[Should I try and talk to her when she wakes up? I don't even know where to begin, what to say or what to ask.]

Ark: <Yes.>

*Ark sits down and closes his eyes.*

"I don't know... Senthose, no, he is an Aeon now. Belgemine maybe, no... Maechen, heavens no, he is so nice. We killed Yunalesca." Ingrid shrugged, "With our luck it'd probably be someone like Yevon."

Ark: <And everyone forgets the dude that sent us to Zanarkand.>

"Ah, yes. Good job Ark, we should go there, assuming we can do so without being swallowed up by Atomos again." Ingrid said.

*Ark glares at Ingrid and then looks away.*

Ingrid raised an eyebrow, What was the dirty look for, I just said he did a good job, then followed along with his own damn theory... Ingrid stood up, "Now that we know that much, someone should inform Luna. I imagine she would want to know about our theory." She said, walking over towards the exit, "Why don't you tell her Hitomi, maybe you can get some emotion out of her. I'm going to go get some rest in the mean time." She finished, exiting and heading towards the barracks for some much needed sleep.

"Okay..."

*She stands up and heads INSIDE going to the room Luna stormed off into, knocking ever so lightly.*

"Luna?"

"W-what is it, Hitomi?"

"I think we're going back to where that Unsent who sent us to Zanarkand is."

"How will we find it?"

"That...didn't come up."

Ingrid passed them on the way to the barracks, "I imagine he will be at the large, creepy wall where Atomos ate us." Ingrid said, passing them. "Later now." She said, continuing on her way to the barracks.

"It probably won't stay there...but the Fayth might be able to tell us where it went after that."

"O...okay."

*She took a step back from the door.*

"Unless there's anything else to say...Goodnight."

"...Thank you, Hitomi. Good night."

[Feel better soon.]

*She goes off to find her own room.*

Ingrid found a place to sleep and took a much needed rest.

~The next day~

*Luna stands on the deck watching Mt. Gagazet grow on the horizon.*

"What a view...I can't believe I used to think machina was a bad thing."
