The Way Back

"You're alive, that's good" Alto says to the all'elf.

"I'm afraid too" Creed says in response to Fahren.

Lucien follows.

Derek: <This is a nice change of pace.>

*He takes a moment to get adjusted to his wings, but manages to fly after Allina through the portal.*

*Crowley's expression turns to shock as he sees her open her eyes.*

Crowley: <...Parker?!>

*Crowley sees her skin going pale.*

Crowley: <Is she going to be okay or what?!>

All'Elf: <Shut u-->

*She widens her eyes in shock and looks around before closing her eyes.*

All'Elf: <This can't be right...!>

*Parker puts on a faint smile, crying, and tries to reach for Crowley's hand. Her eyelids threaten to shut closed.*

*As they're flying through the darkness, the three Sylphs give no sign of having found the others whatsoever.*

Allina: <...How are we going to find them? At this point, I almost forget what we really came here to do. Origin seems so distant.>

"We follow 'his' power" Lucien said.

Alto was giving off a lot of energy. Like a beacon.

Crowley: <Parker? Hey! Don't close your eyes! Stay awake!>

*Tears form in his eyes a little bit.*

All'Elf: <...What is this!?>

*She holds her arms out and a little dot of bright light appears in the air in front of them, starting to slowly grow large, forming into a vortex portal. Meanwhile, Kelphy's breathing is slowly becoming heavier, and her skin paler. Nearby, Barrow starts crying out loud, and Razz takes Parker's free hand.*

Razz: <Please...>

*The dying girl's eyes close and her grip on Crowley's hand loosens.*

Parker: <Crow... I...>

Allina: <I know, that should work, but... but why aren't the Sylphs feeling him?>

*The Sylphs sadly shrug to Allina before suddenly widening her eyes and frantically flying around before pointing at a white portal appearing nearby. Allina smiles broadly.*

Allina: <Finally!>

Crowley: <What? What is it?>

"Here she comes" Alto says.

"Let's go!" Lucien flies through.

*Derek struggles to fly towards the portal, still weirded out at his sudden ability to fly.*

Derek: <Yeesh. Hopefully we're able to finis this once and for all after this hassle.>

*Flying through the portal, they find themselves in a dreadful scenery. They're in a desert surrounded my mesas, one of which has collapsed all over the ground they're hovering above. The Garuda has crashed and is also completely destroyed, scattered all over the ground. Near the portal they just came out stands a heavily injured female middle-aged All'Elf, and further ahead are their friends. Creed is holding an unconscious Kelphy in his arms, and the others are surrounding Parker on the ground. She gives Crowley no reply and breathes out one last time before stopping, her hand dropping from Crowley's.*

All'Elf: <You! You!>

Allina: <Me?>

*Hearing Allina's voice, Razz, Fahren and Barrow turn to her, surprised. Razz smiles broadly, tears at the corner of his eyes.*

Razz: <Allina! Hurry, please!>

*Allina darts over to them, noticing Parker as she lands and kneels down.*

Allina: <What happened to her!?>

"Boost" Alto casts his augmentation arte on Allina. "No time to explain, start healing."

"Hey don't order her around!" Lucien yells at Alto.

"Now's not a good time Lucy" Alto semi-snarks.

*Crowley goes into a state of shock.*

Crowley: <How can this be happening...?>

*Crowley turns to Allina.*

Crowley: <Hurry! Please hurry!>

*Derek notices Kelphy, and curses under his breath. He approaches the group and glances over at Creed.*

Derek: <How bad is she?>

Allina: <Everyone stand back!>

*Barrow and Razz take a few steps away from Parker, as does Crowley & co., presumably. Once everyone is gone, Fahren stops healing and quickly backs away giving way to Allina. She puts her palms together and her angel wings glow intensely as orbs of light spiral down from above into Parker's wound, eaching causing a slight wave that progressively widen the small crater forming around them.*

Allina: <She's... I can't tell if she's alive anymore.>

*The All'Elf is just standing there, still staring at Allina, perplexed.*

*Crowley turns away, trying to hide his tears.*

Crowley: <(This can't be happening.... it just CAN'T be happening...)>

"Here Allina... take all the power you need from me" Alto moves closer and holds out his hand.

Allina: <Thanks, Alto...>

*She closes her eyes, taking Alto's hand, and the spell grows stronger.*

All'Elf: <I don't understand... you're here? How are you here?!>

*She points at Allina menacingly and advances towards her.*

Lucien shadow binds the elf, "What are you even talking about?"

*Allina is so focused it seems as though she's no longer aware of her surroundings. Tears also form in her eyes and light starts streaming outwards from Parker and her, like a tree of light branching out through the air.*

All'Elf: <Amelia! What is she doing here!?>

*The light keeps glowing brighter as heads turn to look at the All'Elf, confused.*

Razz: <She has to have hit her head...>

All'Elf: <Ame-->

*The light bursts outwards. Seconds later, it has faded and Allina falls to her butt, panting. Parker's wound has closed up and healed, but she is still breathless, her skin is still cold as ice, and her skin white as snow.*

"What do you know about Allina elf!?" Lucien questions.

"Easy killer" Alto says trying to calm Lucien down.

*Crowley turns around to look at her pale skin.*

Crowley: <What happened...? Is she going to be okay?>

*Allina looks at Crowley, biting her lower lip with tears sliding down her cheeks, and shakes her head.*

All'Elf: <Al...Allina? But I was sure...>

*The All'Elf continues to look at Allina, confused. The white mage then gestures Creed to put Kelphy down and gets to work on her wound.*

Crowley: <What? But...>

*Crowley drops to his knees in silence.*

Creed lays Allina down.

Lucien lets the All'elf go.

Alto walks over to her. "Can I get a name from you now, please? You can discuss who this Amelia is with me too."
