*Euryale stares at her bracer.*

E"...Do you think I can make this thing into a missile launcher?"

*Meanwhile, Betamon turns into MegaSeadramon & blasts a Tankmon with a Lightning Javelin.*

*The Tankmon open fire with their own munitions. The munitions being more damaging to the Vaccine attributed Digimon than the others. ShadowWereGarurumon charges at a Tankmon, punching it in the stomach region.*

*BlackWarGreymon flies above the Tankmon with MegaSeadramon coiled around him. As MegaSeadramon showers them with ice spikes from his mouth, BlackWarGreymon picks out any Tankmon that's about to attack & fires his missiles at it.*

E"Stay behind me, Taiyo."

T"What am I, chopped liver?"

E"I assumed you'd take the invitation without me having to spell it out to you."

*UlforceVeedramon and Valkyrimon fly into the sky, concluding the biomerge digivolution. Valkyrimon starts shooting down magic arrows at the Tankmon while UlforceVeedramon fashsteps behind one at a time, shooting beams into their back. MagnaAngemon raises a portal in front of Hitomi and Allina to pull in any incoming bullets.*

*Hanging on to Tsune, Taiyo stays behind Euryale. As Tankmon explode into data around them ShadowWereGarurumon continues hammering on them with his fists. More rumbling comes. This time from the east as another large sum of Tankmon move in.*

???:<General Machinedramon, the second Tankmon battalion has engaged the Chosen Children, but their numbers are starting to dwindle.>

*Machinedramon steps forward staring at the moniter showing the group battling the Tankmon. It takes a step back and begins speaking in a grim monotone.*

Machinedramon:<Contact the third battlion. Order them to move in from the east. Have Tankdramon on standby.>

???2:<Yes, General Machinedramon!>

Zarek:<And that's seven.>

*Zarek closes a red velvet lined cupboard and locks it. The white doors blending in with the surrounding white of the room make it appear that there's a yellow keyhole floating in nothing. He then turns around and jumps as Panjyamon is standing behind him.*

Zarek:<Jeez, Panjyamon. Have you considered wearing a bell? You blend in with everything else around here I thought I was standing in front of a pair of pants.>

T"Get off of me."

*Seeing this, MegaBlackMetalGreySeadramon turn & begin firing on the new battallion. Euryale attempts to make a rocket launcher &, failing that, various types of guns.*

Valkyrimon: <If there's one thing I liked about the fight against Puppetmon was the lack of annoying minions everywhere.>

Allina: <Like Divermon?>

Valkyrimon: <Yes. Like freaking Divermon. And Tankmon.>

*They continue with the same strategy, MagnaAngemon protecting Hitomi and Allina.*

*Guns they do not become. The Tankmon keep on coming, firing bullets and munitions their way. Off in the distance comes a loud crash like a pair of cannons being fired. The shells land, one hitting a Tankmon battalion the other hitting MagnaAngemon.*

*MagnaAngemon blasted into the air, groaning. He tries to regain balance midair, covered in burns, and rocket off towards the source of the sound. The others continue what they were doing.*

*Euryale finally settles on a self-reloading crossbow, making the arrows have an armor-piercing head, & a mechanism that self-destructs several seconds after launch. She takes aim & fires at the nearest Tankmon.*

*MagnaAngemon soon comes under fire from the Tankmon patrolling the streets below. He hears another set of cannon fire.*

*Two more shells rain down on them, one striking Valkyrimon while in mide-flight, the other crashing down in front of Euryale, kicking up dust and debris. Angewomon fires an arrow at a Tankmon as a shell from another hits her from the left.*

*Valkyrimon crashes down before flying upwards and releasing a flurry of white feathers that explode in blasts of energy at the Tankmon. MagnaAngemon surrounds itself in a golden barrier and keeps pushing through.*

E"We could use some cover over here!"

*From an alleyway come a pair of Mekanorimon which take flight and pursue MagnaAngemon. The Tankmon fire a few more volleys then stop, resuming their patrols.*

*The Tankmon continue their advancement, knocking down ShadowWereGarurumon. Angewomon fires another arrow then erects a shield as the Tankmon fire their machine guns.*

*Valkyrimon fires arrows at the Tankmon around ShadowWereGarurumon before flying down to help him up. UlforceVeedramon flashsteps in front of Euryale & co., surrounding them all in a barrier.*

*Meanwhile, MagnaAngemon turns to the Mekanorimon, flying backwards, and releases a wave of purifying energy.*

MagnaAngemon: <Soul Vanisher!>

*He then continues on towards the missile source.*

Allina: <I can't see MagnaAngemon anymore. Can anyone see him?!>

*She looks towards the direction MagnaAngemon flew off in, trying to spot him.*

*The Mekanormimon fall, only to be replaced by four more. On the streets Tankmon & Commandramon fire at him from behind barricades on the streets. Unlike the Mekanrmimon, these ones don't pursue. Two more rounds come firing at him.*

*As Tankmon fall, more take their place as the two battalions begin to merge, mowing down Angewomon. ShadowWereGarurumon recovers and begins pushing his way through the mob.*

*He opens a Heaven's Gate behind him in an attempt to reduce the amount of attackers and/or attacks coming for him, keeping his barrier, and continues to fly towards the source.*

*Valkyrimon stabs down through one of Angewomon's assaultants at great speed and starts slashing at the other ones, helping her up as well.*

*His efforts are in vain as another four Mekanorimon come at him two from the left and two from the right. Meanwhile, the bombardments stop and instead just has Mekanorimon pursuing him as well as being shot at by the patrols on the streets below.*

*Tankmon continue to shove on past them until they're effectively behind them while ShadowWereGarurumon and the others are staring down the barrels of a number of Tankmon. Taiyo steps out from behind Euryale, holding Tsune's hand in her right and her Digivice in her left. ShadowWereGarurumon reverts back to BlackGabumon and Armor Digivolves to Stegomon and begins barreling through the Tankmon with Guillotine Wheel making a path that begins to close up.*

*He continues to counterattack with blasts of purifying energy.*

[How is it possible... they can't have been fired from so far away... can they?]

*UlforceVeedramon makes use of his speed to fly through the path, releasing waves and blasts of energy every other second to keep it opened.*

Valkyrimon: {BlackAgumon, Betamon, we need to hurry!}

*Valkyrimon gestures Angewomon to follow, picks up Hitomi and Allina in his arms and flies after UlforceVeedramon.*

*He spots some tread marks atop Mount Rushmore, but they don't go very far before vanishing. Beyond the mountain is nothing but scorched earth and mangled machinery.*

*Angewomon flies through the path as the Tankmon move to close it up. As other fall and explode into data, the remaining ones fire at those attempting to flee while others close in on Euryale, Taiyo, and Tsune. Euryale's repeating crossbow or whatever begins to fall apart.*

*Euryale turns the crossbow back to normal & remakes it.*

*He turns around and looks across the area.*

*Valkyrimon puts the girls down and degenerates, Aquilamon proceeding after UlforceVeedramon with them on her back and Tae running back to try and go call the others.*

*He sees the city he flew over with all it's patrols and blockades.*

"Euryale, shouldn't we get going?"

*A Tankmon halts in front of Tae leveling one of its guns at his head. The whole thing explodes in front of him as Stegomon fires spikes from his back into the dwindling crowd of Tankmon. From behind the French monument with the name I forgot rumbling can be heard.*

OOC: Arch de Triumphe.

"I don't know. Go where?"

"I don't know..."

*The rumbling stops and the Arch de Triumphe proceeds to get shredded by a pair of Tankdramon's gatling guns that show no signs of stopping anytime soon. Stegomon Guillotine Wheel's his way through the Tankmon, reverting back to BlackGabumon then Digivolving to BlackGarurumon.*
