*UlforceVeedramon darts off at transonic speed.*

*Tae attempts to smile to Hitomi through the pain.*

T"Don't warn us, or anything, I love suddenly tumbling 2 stories into hard metal, possibly to my death."

*Hitomi attempts to smile, but it looks incredibly forced and painful. Then she turns away.*

Hitomi:<Euryale, lend me one of your bracers.>

"Don't talk like that to Wolfy. He's just...umm..."

BlackGarurumon:<I'm fine.>

*Having collapsed, the Tankmon stop close enough Patamon can feel a set of treads touching the tip of his tail and begin to fire at UlForceVeedramon.*

*UlforceVeedramon blasts them with energy beams and flies down for Patamon.*

*Tae sighs.*

Tae: <Someone's playing with us again and I'm not liking it one bit. These guys are all cowards, I tell you.>

E"...Why do you want one of my bracers?"

T"I think I have a right to be concerned about my own 2 story fall, thank you very much."

Hitomi:<To mend Tae's injury.>

*She looks at BlackMetalGreymon.*

Hitomi:<He'll be needed as well.>

"It wasn't two stories!"

*The Tankmon are destroyed, but that does them no good when more appear from the alleys and streets behind them.*

T"He is easily two stories tall!"

E"I...suppose."

*BlackWarGreymon waltzes right over as Euryale takes off a bracer & hands it to Hitomi.*

*UlforceVeedramon picks up Patamon if possible, before flying upwards and firing blasts at the Tankmon.*

"Wolfy is not two story's tall."

*Hitomi takes the bracer and puts it on over the wound on Tae's leg. Anyone who remembers the cave from the beginning should know what's to come next, but they don't.*

Hitomi:<Heat it up, please.>

*The anti-aircraft guns that MagnaAngemon came under fire from earlier open fire on UlForceVeedramon.*

Tae: <Oh... cautery. Oh boy.>

*Tae closes his eyes and grits his teeth, preparing to endure the pain.*

*UlforceVeedramon releases V-shaped blasts of energy from his chest towards the armament.*

*He shoots a shitton of fire at that thing.*

T"Yes he is. Whatever. Go argue with someone who cares."

*It of course hurts like a mother fucker, but that's to be expected when the guy spitting the fire is kind of a prick.*

"What crawled up your cute butt and died?"

*While they continue firing regardless of whether or not a turret was destroyed, the Tankmon fire at Aquilamon.*

*Tae groans loudly in pain, squeezing his leg above the wound with all of his strength.*

Allina: <Incoming!>

*Aquilamon dives down while UlforceVeedramon fires at each of the shooting turrets.*

T"Not you, unfortunately."

E"I don't think you thought that retort through."

A<I'm a helper!>

B<I'm BlackBeard.>

*The smell of burnt hair and flesh fills everyone's nostrils and is most unpleasant, but on the plus side they've shown that they don't need some spastic angel to mend their booboos. Taiyo hugs Tsune.*

"Why are we fighting?"

*The Tankmon and anti-aircraft guns continue their firing at the two. While another mob of Tankmon approach from the north surrounding them.*

T"Get off of me!"

*Tae is still suffering.*

*Aquilamon degenerates and UlforceVeedramon catches her and Allina before flashstepping off towards the rest of the group.*

*Taiyo lets go and doesn't appear to be happy. Quite the opposite really.*

"Fine. Then get off of BlackGarurumon!"

*The attack continues until they're gone before all goes silent and the Tankmon return to their patrols.*

T"Fine! He just about threw me off anyway!"

*Tsune jumps off.*

T"C'mon, Betamon, let's go. I'm sure we can take care of their boss ourselves."

Tae: <Tsune, c'mon! Don't g--ahh!!>

*UlforceVeedramon returns, carrying Allina, Patamon and Hawkmon. He puts them down, Allina holding Patamon in her arms, and degenerates. They hurry over to Tae.*

Razz: <...What happened?>

*The bracer could probably be taken off by now which Hitomi does leaving Tae with a scar that'll be the only manly thing about him. Brushing off the inside of it, Hitomi returns the still warm bracer to Euryale.*

Hitomi:<...Thank you.>

Salamon:<Taiyo and Tsune got into a fight again.>

*Euryale puts the bracer back on. Seeing as no one stopped Tsune, she's already fucked off to parts unknown. Euryale frowns.*

Tae: <...Thanks, Hitomi. And you two.>

Hawkmon: <Nasty.>

Razz: <We should go after her.>

Allina: <Yeah. Together this time.>

*She gives sleeping Patamon a quick glare.*

*BlackGarurumon stands up and begins to walk into the city.*

"I don't know what happened..."

Hitomi:<You're welcome.>

*Aside from her and Betamon the streets seem very much deserted. Or at least the one she's on. Around her are buildings that are both familiar to her (and everyone else for that matter) and buildings that could have been lifted from any city. Coming to a four way she can see that there's something up aheard as well as to her left. Unbeknownst to her a camera mounted on to a light post is monitering her.*

*As a matter of fact, she does know, because it doesn't get more fucking conspicuous than that.*

B<What should we do about it?>

T"Dunno...follow the wire, maybe?"
