Allina: <Where do we go from here, Nero?>

*Euryale frowns.*

N"Well, we came here looking for Mordred, but he's further inland. Why did you land us in such a shitty spot?"

R"This is as close as I could get, get off me!"

Allina: <Leave him alone, let's just work with what we have. Nero, GPS!>

"You alright?" Noct asked Euryale after looking around to get a better feel for where they had landed.

*She folds her arms.*

E"The statues in the Pantheon were very pretty back in their day, I will have you know."

N"Hell do you want me to do, it's not like I have a star that marks his location...why can't these people be assed to label any of their rivers? I think we're not that far from Beijing, but that would require going further towards the coast."

Noctis chuckled a bit, "I'm sure they were, but I never said anything about artistic quality. I personally love Nike Adjusting her Sandal." Noct ran a hand through her hair, "I'm sorry if I offended you though. Wasn't my intention."

Allina: <That's something. Which way towards the coast?>

N"I'm guessing it's the way the river flows."

E"Well...that's okay, I guess. As long as you didn't mean it, there's no harm in a joke, right?"

Allina: <Right. Well, let's go!>

"Well, depends on the joke," Noct said, "But not this one. I didn't mean anything by it."

N"And then what do we do when we're IN Beijing? Can't catch a flight while carrying around a medieval armory & a sawed off shotgun. And new girl's shadow trick probably won't work on all of this shit."

"I actually never checked to see what kind of a limit it has..." Noct said, "I wonder if I can put a person in it."

Allina: <So are we going to sit around or are we going to discuss what we'll do once we arrive on the way there? C'mon.>

"Yea," Noct said, "Going in a random direction without a plan can only lead to good things."

N"(We think she contracted a brain parasite in the Amazon Jungle.)"

"Is it contagious?" Noct whispered back, taking a step away from her.

Allina: <It is. Almost as much as his asshatery.>

*Allina walks off in whichever direction the river's flowing.*

"I was being sarcastic about walking off in a random direction without a plan, in case you didn't catch that," Noct said, "I realize I can be a bit deadpan sometimes..."

*For various reasons, chief among them being a section of the bridge collapsing, Allina falls in the river & begins being swept down current.*

Noct sees Allina fall in and tries to help her by using a shadow clone, but the clone keeps getting swept away in the current, "Dammit, I can't reach her..."

*Euryale takes off her armor & begins removing her shirt.*

N"Not that I'm complaining, but what exactly are you doing?"

E"I'm going in after her!"

N"That's a terrible idea. Look, as long as she keeps from drowning, we can find her again in Beijing."

R"What if she's swept out to sea?"

N"One would hope someone would have pulled her out before that."

"Don't go in after her," Noct said, "That is the worst way to save someone in this situation. Then there will just be two people caught in the current."

E"Then what do you suggest I do? Simply sit back & do nothing? Who knows how far away this 'Beijing' is, what if it takes us days to get there?!"

N"We have a boat, don't we?"
