Golden Age: Revival

Gilgamesh<Designed it specifically for the occasion, whilst you were asleep. We modeled it after the stonehenge that Merlin built. In our day, it was used for various magical rituals; including transportation, funerals, exorcisms, & foretelling the future. So it seemed appropriate.>

*Gilgamesh points to where the wrapped-up body of Gallahad is.*

Gilgamesh<Making a coffin proved too difficult. We have enemies all around, & precious little time to spare.>

Noctis nodded, and walked over to Gallahad's body.

*Gallahad suddenly sits up.*

Allina: <If we find big snakes or spiders, ancient murderous ghost knights or creepy stalkers, I'm out of here. I wanna make that very clear.>

Arthur<Come on, old friend.>

*As he picks Gallahad up, the body seems to put its arms around him.*

Gilgamesh<Yeesh. After 10 millenia, that STILL never ceases to creep me out.>

*Allina shuts up because bringing up Medusa around Euryale probably isn't a very good idea.*

"Yes, but that shouldn't be an issue unless you're uncomfortable with public displays of affection. Also I'd still be more worried about mummy's. Mummy's that could carry ancient viruses. It's a twofer!"

Taiyo:<Make him stop.>

*Mimiru obliges, by hitting him. Not what Taiyo had in mind, but it gets the job done.*

Noctis put a hand over her heart to soften its rapid thump. After a few inhales, Noctis bowed her head, and gave her respects to Gallahad before turning to Gilgamesh, "What exactly is going on?" She asked in a quiet tone.

Gilgamesh<Wow, that is a vague question...let us see...a group called the Illuminati is after us, Mordred came back from the Underworld, he killed Gallahad, now we're having a funeral, & I find rigor mortis disturbing.>

*Arthur lowers Gallahad into the passage carved into the earth underneath the stone pillars, then drags one over to cover it.*

*Allina widens her eyes and runs behind Mimiru.*

"That isn't truly what I meant, but I guess it should suffice," Noctis let out a humorless chuckle, "Up until the very end I told Gallahad I had no reason to fight, that I didn't want to, nor did I need to. I see now that I was naive in thinking that. Your battle, its now mine as well," She looked Gilgamesh in the eyes, "I still don't think I'm cut out for this, I'm definitely not a knight, or warrior, but I will do all I can to help. Just point me in the right direction."

Noctis was silent for a moment before giving a small exclamation, and lifting her shirt slightly to reveal a length of chain, "Oh, before I forget, I have this chain, given to me by a Brazilian goddess, or rather, a goddess in Brazil. She said it was powerful."

N"Why do you assume I'm carrying a lighter?"

Gilgamesh<I see...Mordred was never attacking us in the first place. He was after you. Gallahad just happened to be in the way.>

Arthur<That is not the most tact way of phrasing it.>

Gilgamesh<...Sorry. But, what I mean to say is, those chains were specifically forged to be used against a God. If Mordred could make armor from them, it would be virtually impossible to wound him.>

Arthur<But Mordred was thwarted in that.>

Gilgamesh<Well...not exactly. There are many such items in existence, & these Illuminati have uncovered quite a few.>

Allina: <I don't know, you had one last time it was needed!>
