Noctis leaned close to Lilith, and whispered, "She gives a new meaning to odd behavior."

Zac and Iliad go about finding a place to stay, preferably someplace cheap, and knight free.

*Rhea summons Moogle to cast Moogle Charm on the thieves. Reiter dashes around another knight, slashing at him.*

*Griping about being tripped in fullplate the three head for the Fort.*

"Then close the door behind you," Sab said, closing said door to her room.

"I... I don't think she is smart enough to hide something," Noct replied, "She told us she wanted to kill everyone of the Church of Glabados. If there was ever a secret to keep, it'd be that."

Mortal looked up from the menu, "Just so I'm clear, 'lamb chops' is a meal that comes with lamb, correct?"

Noct nodded slowly.

"Then I'll have that."

They decide to stay at the inn with the least amount of knights. They may have been criminals, but no one knew those lives were tied to different names; Zac Talea, and Iliad Bell were still nobility. The worst they could expect if questioned were trips back to Lesalia, should Iliad's father been adamant about getting his son back. That was troublesome, but it wouldn't see them in any real danger.

*Rhea focuses on a knight, casting Blizzard on him, right before Reiter slashes at that same knight with his dagger.*

If you know as much about the Sandwastes of Beddha as you claim you do, you know that it covers a huge portion of the continent. The province of Lionel is under the church's direct jurisdiction. It is two or three times the size of the Beddha Sand Waste. I think the standing army of the Lion Knights right now is close to 2 thousand soldiers. And that isn't even counting the church proper, & their Knights Templar. All are some rank of Devout Knight, meaning that they've proven capable enough to win battles when outnumbered 10 to 1."

E"Wow. Even I didn't know they had THAT much fire power."

*Seeing Parker approach, the Mage points at her, starts charging a spell, & teleports to the top of the nearest hill.*

*At this point, it's down to the 2 of them vs. the remaining knight. Said knight swings hard at Reiter's head.*

*Reiter raises his dagger to block the blow, stumbling backwards from the impact and falling on his butt. Rhea twirls her staff, beginning to summon an Esper. Reiter springs to his feet and tackles the knight, stabbing at him.*

*Parker casts Tanglevine on the Time Mage in an attempt to at least delay casting and speeds up towards him slashing at his arms when she gets to him.*

"Of course it wouldn't be an easy trip."

*Azuma & Mimiru begin to move forward while Taiyo begins the Mincing Minuet.*

Mortal shrugged, "Then I'll kill them all in ways that favor me," Mortal said, "They have wronged me, and I have no issue devoting my life to destroying them; They've made it so that I have nothing more to do anyway."

Noctis eyed the dancer until she left, a small smile playing on her lips, then returned her attention to Mortal, "Right, well, that isn't smart. I doubt a full blown rebellion could take them out, a single fire breathing woman certainly cannot," Noctis said, "Speaking of which, how can you breathe fire? Are you some kind of mage?"

"No," Mortal said, digging into her lamb, "I was a dragon. The fact that I appear before you now looking like this is why I want to eliminate the Church."

Noctis didn't know how to respond, but after a while she offered up, "You know, I'm sure they have places to help people who... need help."

"I'm not crazy!"

"Okay, dragon lady, sureeee you're not."

L"Sehkrets have chemicals they mix together that create fire when they exhale. It wouldn't be impossible to replicate that."

*One of the ghosts teleports down from the fort, as generating a ball of ectoplasm & hurling it at Azuma.*

*Mimiru Aurablast's the Ghoul that teleported down as Azuma parries that shit like a boss and closes in, slashing it.*

"I'm a dragon, not a Sehkret. Do not confuse me with a creature so lowly." Mortal replied, insulted.

"If she did use that method, why wouldn't she identify herself as a Sehkret instead of a dragon?" Noct asked, "Wait, how do you know her, are you a dragon too?"

*The parry is successful, but the aurablast fizzles out before it gets to the ghost. It then drifts out of the way of Azuma's attack & bitchslaps him. One of the ghosts from above teleports to where the ghost was floating previously &, becaue Ectoplasm has infinite vertical range, hurls it down towards Azuma.*

L"(You expect a crazy person to use logic to manufacture their delusions?) Odd. I was under the impression that most monsters were one big happy family. Unless they encountered a rival troupe of ghosts & goblins, or what have you."

E"No. I'm from the north, & on a religious pilgrimage. Ironically, I was going to Lionel anyway."

"Do you plan to help her with her crusade against the church?" Noctis asked.

Mortal folded her arms, "I've never associated with Sehkrets... I don't like their kind... Pickaxes... Dragons are the best, Chocobos, perhaps, Hydras are not bad I guess, a three headed cousin I suppose, but not Sehkrets."

*Mimiru heads towards the Fort. Azuma begins moving to the side then forward to the Fort while Taiyo continues dancing.*

L"I'm surprised you've even seen a Hydra. I've heard they're basically extinct."

*The ghost on top teleports to the edge & throws its spirit at Azuma. The others teleport in front of & behind Mimiru. Both hurl ectoplasm at her.*

*Taiyo stops dancing and casts Cura on Mimiru as well as the two ghosts by extension. Mimiru hits the ghost in front of her with Pummel. Azuma heads towards the ghost behind Mimiru.*

"I WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY!!!!" Sorrel uses the distraction from Parker to gain some ground on the mage and hopefully close the gap once and for all.

"I was a dragon, like you said, 'one big happy family'," Mortal replied.

"At least one of you isn't cra--" Noct stopped when Mortal glared daggers at her, "Suicidal, is that a better word?"

"But I don't want to kill myself," Mortal replied.

"Funny way of showing it."

*The ghost that was pummeled dies horribly as the one on the fort comes down to attack Azuma with ectoplasm. The other ghost teleports closer to Taiyo & assaults HER with its white glob of essence goop.*
