*Azuma finally decides to go after this ghost after ignoring it for so long. Mimiru begins to make her way to Taiyo and that ghost. Taiyo casts Cure on herself and the ghost.*

E"As long as she doesn't try to eat me."

*The ghost is too far away to be affected by cure. The one Azuma slashes teleports away, sort of slumped over in its floating. It fires another spirit bomb at him.*

Mortal furrowed her eyebrow, "I would never eat you. You saved my life, and gave me this pretty dress."

Noct held back a snobish laugh.

*At Taiyo's side, Mimiru fires an Aurablast at the ghost. Azuma pretty much begins chasing the other ghost.*

*Euryale hangs her head.*

E"That dress is almost 10 years old. It's ripped to shreds, covered in dirt stains that will never come out, & too small for either of us. You want something like what she's wearing, but I'll never have enough Gil for that."

*She points to Noctis. Lilith fidgets uncomfortably.*

L"Well, I think fancy clothes are overrated anyway."

E"At least you can choose what you wear."

*In a last ditch effort, it tries punching him. The other ghost fades out, leaving its shirt floating behind.*

*Azuma slashes the ghost while the other two move to join him.*

Sorrel picked up his unconscious sister and began to walk back towards the ruins. There were people there he saw fighting against the corpse brigade and he had to give his thanks to them.

Mortal shook her head, "I think it is pretty. Why are you telling me what I should and should not like? This is literally the first thing I've ever worn, I think it is pretty." Mortal explained, "And soft."

Noct had long since stopped feeling bad for being highborn, "Would you like to go shopping with me? I have a meager amount of gil on hand, but should we go to Lesalia, I can buy you any dress you want, the both of you."

Mortal furrowed her brow at Noct, "You be quiet, you made her sad."

Noctis went back to eating, effectively ending the conversation.

*Parker ran back to where Roatha was ahead of Sorrel to check if the knights had fled as planned.*

L"Well. If you're not Corpse Brigade, you have nothing to do with my mission. I am under no obligation to stop you, unless you attack within the jurisdiction of the Order of the Southern Sky. But before this meeting is adjourned, I should reiterate that even if you do manage to kill whoever you insist is responsible for your...situation, it won't solve anything. All it will do is turn you from a nobody to the most wanted woman in Ivalice, the target of all of the Knightly Orders. If you really wanted to stop corruption in the church, you should expose it to the Royal Family, Arc Knight Zalbaag Beoulve, or Count Cidoflus Orlandeu."

E"Zalbaag & Orlandeu are the commanders of the Orders of the Northern & Southern Skies, respectively."

L"But you'd need evidence. I cannot stress that enough. Ser Zalbaag, in particular, is a very devout member of the church, & unlikely to tolerate unsubstantiated accusations against it."

Sorrel arrived on the scene and didn't hesitate, "Run now you fucking scum before I cease staying my blade" the comment was directed towards the two knights.

"Their hoard is pretty small. I guess their abduction of the Marquis was a flop. So, what do you think? Even 3-way split?"

*Parker shrugs.*

Parker: <Seems fair.>

"I'm ok with that... I'm... going to return home. To my real home" this was more or less said loud enough so his mother could hear him.

"You do that. I heard the Brigade is having its big stand-off with the Order of the Northern Sky at Fort Ziekden. So I'm going to stop back off at Dorter for supplies, then head there to make sure my dad's okay."

OOC: I'm sure that will work out great for him & nothing about it will ever go wrong.

OOC: Who? Roatha?

"I... see"

Parker: <And I think I'll head Northeast to Bervenia... except this place is supposed to be dangerous. (Damn.)>

"What more evidence do I need. Look at me," Mortal then thought about it, "Then again... no one knows what I used to be... but me. But, who would care about me anyway. I'll need to find something else bad that they have done..."

"Such as?" Noct asked, incredulously, "So far as I can tell all they're guilty of is being a bit too pompous for their own good."

"I'll find something."

L"There is the lack of effort they've put into stopping the Corpse Brigade. And even as they complain that this wouldn't have happened if the Orders gave them compensation in the first place, they transferred all of their commoner soldiers to the Southern Sky just before the end of the 50 Years War. Not that I'm accusing them of manipulative politics, mind you."

E"While we're on the subject, I've heard some nasty rumors about the Office of Inquisition."

"That's your problem, isn't it?"

*Roatha turns & begins to head back for town.*

"I could use an escort? I'm sure my family would pay well" Sorrel cast a dark glance towards his mother though the comment was directed towards Roatha and Parker.

Noct looked over at Lilith, "You don't particularly seem to mind this... discussion. Not a fan of the Church?"

"Do you have anything to do with them?" Mortal asked.

"I'm a part of congregation in Lesalia," Noctis said, "But I'd be lying if I said I was devout. Still, what you're talking about," She then turned to Lilith, "And what you're giving her advice on, is something very serious."

"They did this to me, and if they've done nothing to you, but you're still not... 'devout', well, I can't imagine that they are so pure," Mortal said, "In fact, I think they'd be better off gone entirely."

"You're going to need more than a just a personal vendetta to get rid of them," Noct said, "I don't mean to be rude, but you two don't exactly seem... equipped to do anything to the church."

"You mean Gil?" Mortal asked, "You can help us can't you, you're wealthy."

"I have my own issues. I can't exactly fund an anti-church movement, what makes you think I'd even want to?"

"I'll help you then," Mortal said, "Whatever your issues are, I'll help you solve them, then you can help me."

Noct chuckled a bit, and shook her head, "You still have not answered why I would want to fund something that, should it fail, and my attachment be discovered, will most likely result in me swinging from the gallows, while my House suffers another slight by my generation."

*Parker raises her arms and jumps in front of Sorrel.*

Parker: <Me! Me, I said first! ...Where?>
