Well, this ep. was cool. I like the void scale, even if I feel the counter thingy was... dumb for a roving band of criminals to have. It seems way too convenient, and how the hell would they even know what it did? That aside, I do like Yahiro's pragmatism about the subject. Conning people with a smile into electing Shu, then giving them a grade, and worth behind closed doors.

What I don't like about the scale system is that the powers are not like DBZ. DBZ's power system was useless, but at least you could imagine it was gauging the same thing for everyone. Over 9000? You shoot a stronger beam, punch harder, and fly faster than that guy who isn't. But how do you compare a sword and a gun that can open anything? Or rocket boots and a bandage that heals any wound. I mean, subjectively you can apply a worth (personally I'd take Hare with me fucking everywhere), but the whole point of ep. 11 (?) was to show that, though different, they all had their time and place.

Also, funny how Inori had an "Over '2000'" joke in there. Also of note: we agree that drawing a void is tantamount to sexual intercourse, at least in looks and... everything minus child making, so can we agree that Tsugumi got gang raped?

It was probably planted by Segai to sow discord and yeah that was a bit uncomfortable. Shu's gone full badass though.

Honestly, it wouldn't have surprised me. I didn't expect Hare to die, of all people, so seeing Souta off'd would have seemed almost logical.

I didn't ether but then again she's very... Shirly esq. She was in the way of Shu and Inori's true love.

Also I was kind of hoping Shu ended Souta right then there because Souta's kind of a useless character.

I was wondering how they were going to resolve Hare "getting in the way", but I never thought they'd actually off her. Mostly because I didn't think they had the balls to. Gai is one thing, he is a dudebro, and the girl who got KillSat'd is also different cuz you didn't get to know her, but we've been with cute ol' Hare since the start.

As for Souta, his Void really isn't. I think he got shafted with his rank. His gun literally opens anything. Useful as fuck if you're trying to, oh, Iunno, get ANYWHERE that has locked doors, no matter how complex the lock. The fuckers who should have been ranked F were the ones with dumb shit... like the fridge.
