Claus: <Oh crud.>

*He drags Guilmon outside of the alleyway and ducks, hoping for the best.*

*Allina giggles*

Allina: <Seems like I'm flying there.>

*Aquilamon rockets forward full speed, headed towards the enemies*

*The Flarelizarmon unrolls itself at the edge of the sidewalk and turns around, a trail of flames from where it started rolling quickly die down.*

Flarelizarmon:<Blaze Buster!>

*Flarelizarmon fires a hail of flame bullets from its mouth at Guilmon.*

Zarek:<Just keep going straight and you'll get there in no time. Also don't try to catch any of the "snowflakes". They'll make you sick. And with that, I'll be back when/if you defeat LadyDevimon.>

*Zarek disappears in a portal. Gatomon looks at Piddomon then looks away embarrassed.*

Gatomon:<Ummm, thank you for saving me.>

*In front of them at the base of the castle wall is two Cyclonemon. One fires a beam from its mouth at Aquilamon while the other extends its right arm at BlackGarurumon who blasts it with a Fox Fire trying to redirect it*

*Piddomon looks away as well*

Piddomon: <O-Oh, that was nothing.>

Allina: <So, Hitomi, Gatomon, need a lift?>

*Allina sits on Piddomon's left arm, holding on to his shoulder. He stretches his right arm towards Hitomi*

Tae: <Right and forward! Blast Laser!>

*Aquilamon dodges to the right and rockets forward, blasting the attackers*

*Guilmon claws a little hole in the ground to dodge the attack*

Claus: <This thing won't let up...>

*Civilians are running about screaming at the sight of a weird, flaming, lizard thing shooting at another weird lizard thing that dug a hole in the sidewalk. Flarelizarmon doesn't let up with its attack and approaches the hole in the sidewalk, embers bouncing from the sidewalk and into the hole.*

Gatomon:<Didn't you get a Digimental from MarineDevimon? I bet whatever Patamon turns into would have an easier time transporting us all.>

*By some miracle Cyclonemon's arm is knocked to the ground by BlackGarurumon's attack. The arm retracts and both Cyclonemon and BlackGarurumon fire at each other the blasts intercepting and the two being stuck maintaining their attacks trying to overpower one another. The other Cyclonemon growls as the attack hits and swings its right arm at Aquilamon.*

Allina: <That's actually an awesome idea. I remember when you used yours to turn into a fish shark serpent thingy, it was so epic. So... I click here. And then...>

*After jumping off, she clicks the Digivice's side arrow causing the Digimental of Hope to pop up and points the Digivice at the degenerating Piddomon*

Allina: <Digimental Up!>

*Patamon's enveloped in light and his body and legs grow longer. He grows a neck and actual wings, turning into... Pegasusmon!*

Allina: <PATAMON!>

Pegasusmon: <Oh my god, I look so awesome, don't I?>

*He starts kicking around and winks at Gatomon*

Allina: <Okay, okay, let's get going, pony!>

*She climbs onto his back and holds on to his neck*

Pegasusmon: <Off we go, ladies.>

*Aquilamon contracts her wings and dives backward, darting back up and slashing at Cyclonemon's head with her talons*

Claus: <This thing is getting annoying!>

*He grips his Digivice tightly.*

Guilmon: <RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!>

*He blindly goes on the attack once more.*

*Flarelizarmon stops firing and charges Guilmon, grabbing its hands/claws/whatever, the flames searing Guilmon's flesh.*

*Hitomi picks Gatomon up and places her on her shoulders and gets on Pegasusmon holding on to his sides.*

*Cyclonemon blocks with the horn on its head. BlackGarurumon digs his claws into the ground as Cyclonemon's attack overpowers his and he begins to slide back before being knocked over by the attack. Taiyo falls off.*

BlackGarurumon:<Taiyo!>

"It's okay... I'm not dead yet. I'll hang back, you go tear its head off."

*BlackGarurumon nods and charges moving from side-to-side firing short bursts of ice-fire stuff. Taiyo winces and places a hand on the wound on her side, taking note of the scrapes on her arms*

"Oooh, my firmly toned mid-section."

Guilmon: <Ouchies!>

*The singing of skin isn't pleasant to Claus' ears.*

Claus: <Jeez, leave us alone!>

OOC: Since I'm being ignored anyway....

*Betamon Armor-Digivolves & takes Tsune to go look for Euryale.*

*Pegasusmon bucks Euryale off lightly*

Pegasusmon: <You didn't.>

Allina: <Hop on, Euryale!>

Tae: <Drop me!>

*Aquilamon dives down and Tae jumps off, landing by Taiyo. Aquilamon flies back up and rams the Cyclonemon*

Tae: <Taiyo, are you okay!?>

*Flarelizarmon roars, it sounding more like a shriek like from the velociraptor's from Jurassic Park than an actual roar as it begins to push Guilmon towards the hole it made in the ground.*

Gatomon:<Did you forget about BlackGreymon? I'm no expert on pack animals, but I'm sure Pegasusmon has a maximum weight capacity.>

*BlackGarurumon slams into the Cyclonemon Aquilamon was attacking/being attacked by. The other Cyclonemon fires a Hyper Heat at Aztecgodmon.*

"I'm fine."

*Passing over the castle courtyard, they fly over the gate with the many Devidramon at the top of the battlements. The Devidramon try to take flight but only get a few feet in the air before the shackles around their legs yank them back. Tsune's crest glows through her shirt and jacket and for a brief moment flashes to another symbol. The Devidramon attempt to take flight again only to be yanked back again, but refuse to give up. Two manage to rip their shackles from the battlements and chase Tsune*

*Euryale gets on Pegasusmon.*

*Quetzalmon roars. Suddenly, clouds gather & begin raining hailstones on the Devidramon, making flight much more difficult.*

OOC: Another group of Plot McGuffins? Why does this remind me of Crystal Crusaders?

*Guilmon attempts to bite its way out of the FlareRizamon's hands.*

Claus: <This is just plain ridiculous.>

*Pegasus falls to his knees*

Pegasusmon: <Yeah, three girls and a beautiful kitten is too much.>

Tae: <It feels as though all we ever do is fight. Well, all our friends ever do.>

*Aquilamon flaps her wings, blasing the enemy with a Laser Gust*

*The flames darken slightly with each bite, Guilmon's mouth burning with each bite. Flarelizarmon pushes Guilmon into the hole and fires flame bullets at Guilmon. Claus' digivice glows, the word digivolution scrolling across the screen.*

*Gatomon looks away with a "Hmph!"*

Gatomon:<Stupid Pegasusmon. N-n-noooooo.>

*Hitomi scratches behind Gatomon's ear, a slight smile on her face.*

"I bet we'll have a nice reunion with everyone soon... Or sometime."

*BlackGarurumon blasts a Cyclonemon with a Fox Fire then lets out a loud yelp as he's blasted with a Hyper Heat. The first Cyclonemon growls in pain and swings its right arm at Aquilamon.*

*Devidramon shrieks and beats its wings creating a gust of wind knocking bits of hail away from it while the other one continues its flight towards Quetzalmon.*

*Quetzalmon flicks its tail, tossing the Devidramon aside with a mighty gust of wind.*

A<Maybe we should leave the armor behind?>

"Never."

Pegasusmon: <No! And you can't make me!>

*Pegasusmon raises its front legs so as to force Euryale to get off and takes flight*

Allina: <That was mean.>

Pegasusmon: <B-but--she could at least have taken off the armor!>

Allina: <I'm sure BlackGreymon can catch up.>

Tae: <Yeah... So, how did you get BlackGarurumon to digivolve?>

*Aquilamon is knocked back but flies back up and claws at its head*

*Hitomi and Gatomon remain silent during the whole ordeal, Hitomi having stopped scratching Gatomon's ear.*

"I... I don't know."

*Cyclonemon lowers its head so its horn is pointed directly at Aquilamon.*

BlackGarurumon:<Wolf Cry!>

*BlackGarurumon howls at the Cyclonemon that attacked him sending a shockwave at it. It digs its claws into the ground, weathering the attack.*

*The Devidramon shrieks as it falls to the ground flapping its wings to slow its fall. The still airborne Devidramon rockets towards Quetzlamon an arm extended, its claws glowing.*

*Black Agumon & Euryale are jettissoned back onto Pegasusmon's back after Euryale sits on his head & he Digivolves & de-Digivolves in a jump.*

"Fuck you, I'm not giving you treats later."

<I call it catapault-digivolution.>

*Quetzalmon just blasts it with a gust of wind as well & continues on its merry way.*

*Unable to sustain the weight, Pegasusmon starts falling towards the ground*

*Aquilamon flies back and blasts the enemy with her laser rings*

*Hitomi holds on to Pegasusmon tighter and gasps as Gatomon's claws dig into her shoulders*

*Cyclonemon keeps its head down and digs its claws into the ground, the attack still pushing it. It rears its head up and fires a Hyper Heat at Aquilamon. BlackGarurumon jumps on Cyclonemon's back and bites teh back of its neck causing its attack to miss Aquilamon*

*The Devidramon crashes to the ground and stands up letting out a screech that's soon cut off as a set of claws tear into its throat followed by several slashes. It falls to the ground gasping as it slowly dissolves into data which is absorbed by the Devidramon that killed it.*

Devidramon:<Devidramon digivolve too... Gigadramon!>

*Gigadramon takes off in pursuit of Quetzalmon.*

Quetzalmon<Hold on. I have to take care of this.>

*Quetzalmon turns to face it as hail pours down out of the sky all around him.*

Quetzalmon<Well? I don't have all day. Make your move.>

<*Sniffle.* That was beautiful....>

Pegasus: <...Oh...god...not...again....>

*He continuously flaps his wings, delaying the crash*

Allina: <Well, in my defense, we needed to cross that ocean and holding on to your legs seemed like a good idea at the time. Euryale's just violent.>
