Astarte's face bordered on anger, "I think one of the others brought it."

"Mortal has it"

"I have it?"

"For the sake of the plot, sure."

"I guess you're right," Mortal pulls the thing out of hammerspace, "Now then, can you fix her, or what?"

OOC: Or Aroma could have had it wrapped up in silk, but I guess we can go with the stupid idea.

L"I don't know...I'm still relatively new at healing Kido."

S"I'm sure you can do it. You've invented a number of Kido already, have you not?"

*Lilith blushes.*

L"Well...I suppose I could give it a try."

[You're why I didn't want her around. You already tried to kill Rangiku, what's stopping you from going after anyone else? I was better off without you.]

[Idiot, if you were better off, you could have beaten me! You're nothing without me, & being a sore loser won't change that.]

[Without you I wouldn't have to avoid anyone. I could be at home or with Venezuela.]

Mortal noticed the rosy cheeks and snickered to herself. Sab elbowed her in the side to quieten her.

Astarte just waited for direction, her eyes flicking around the room.

L"Why is she so nervous?"

*Lilith generates a glowing Kido rod & jams it into the arm bone.*

L"Now we just attach the other end, put a barrier around it, & bandage it up. This might sting a bit."

"O-okay..." Astarte bit her bottom lip and allowed Lilith to continue with her healing.

Yue offered Astarte a hand to grasp.

Astarte didn't even notice the hand since she had closed her eyes and was taking long, calming breaths.

Mortal snickered again at Yue, as Sab told her to stop.

Lulu takes this time to scurry from the sofa into one of the rooms, but Sab shoots a bala at it, barely missing. Lulu stopped in her tracks, as Sab let out a panicked gasp, "Holy... that thing scared the hell out of me!"

"Meow!" -You're one to talk bitch!-

Mortal walks over to it and picks up the shell shocked fur ball by the scruff of its neck, "Its only a cat, whats the big deal?"

"Meow..." -Don't eat me, don't eat me, don't eat me, don't eat me, don't eat me...-

Mortal put her back on the ground, scratched her behind the ear, and walked away from it.

"Meow!" -You didn't eat me! Make sure no one else eats me!-

With that Lulu goes over and hops up onto Mortal's shoulder as if she were Noct. "I don't see what your issue with her is, she seems friendly enough."

*Lilith glares at Lulu as she jerks her arms back & slams the construct into Astarte's arm socket. The shoulder soon becomes surrounded by a blue, oblong barrier.*

L"Fine. Let John take care of the stupid cat. I knew staying here was a bad idea."

*Euryale suddenly takes a deep breath.*

"Have you tried not chasing it? It might think you want to hurt it if, well, when it is hiding your reaching into a sofa to try and drag it out, probably by whatever appendage you manage to grab." Mortal said.

"Yea." -Meow-

Noct looks to see what she was doing.

L"You picked it up by its goddamn neck! You know what? No. This conversation? It is not happening. I've fallen to a lot of lows this past week, but justifying myself to a flea-ridden animal is not one of them."

*She pulls a sheet of paper out of a drawer & begins writing a note.*

L"I ought to go back to the Soul Society anyway."

*Euryale continues meditating for about an hour before standing up.*

I hope she intends to finish healing me first... Astarte thought, opening one eye to see what the fuss was about, unless it is somehow finished...

"Yea, but that doesn't hurt it, though I agree, I have better things to do than argue about cats with you," At this Lulu hops off of Mortal and goes over to Senthose, and begins to nuzzle herself against his leg.

Noct lets out a small yawn, but doesn't say anything, once again, not wanting to interrupt whatever Euryale was doing.

*Euryale turns around & jumps.*

"Oh...Noct...how long have you been standing there?"

S"You shouldnn't ignore people. It isn't nice."

L"I just have one question before I go. Why do you even have me on the invasion team? I can't outmaneuver Mom's Yggminsul, I can't outrun Netzach, I can't defeat the ice-user, & I sure as Hell can't overpower Keter. You must know that."

Lulu purrs.

"Meow." -I'm not ignoring her, its just that she scares me...-

Noctis, who was sitting, shrugged, "Few hours, I think. I was enjoying the view, and I liked being close to you. What were you doing?"

*Aera grins and violently pushes him down the dune.*

Aera: <Then start thinking of a way. No wasting anymore time!>

*Iris falls to the bottom and gets up, rubbing his head.*

Iris: <Ha. Well I'll try, but in the meantime we need to figure out what to do next.>

Astarte went to speak, but once again caught the words before they passed her lips. She continued to sit in silence.

*Senthose does not speak cat.*

L"Hah! Must be a small talent pool."

S"You do realize that your mother leaving has as much to do with your combat ability as the cat?"

L"And what would you know about that?! If you ever had a mother, you probably ate her!"
