I have returned from the bleak world of Mass Effect 3 to confirm this. The happiest you get is Anderson living 5 minutes longer than he should, the Normandy crash landing on some random planet, the Mass Relays all destroyed, and Shep has a gasp after being knocked unconscious from something that kills her if the meter isn't maxed out. On a basic scale it boils down to kill all synthetics, including Geth, and presumably EDI, though it doesn't say that outright, but Shep dies in the explosion (unless maxed out); Control all Reapers, but Shep dies; Make everyone a hybrid synthetic, includes making Geth organic, but Shep dies.

| - Spoiler:
Ya the endings are crap. I'm trying to max it out so I don't lose Shep, but they just leave too much open. I at least wanted a consequence video about the future of the Krogan after curing the Genophage and many other tough choices that could have long run trouble. I haven't finished the game yet, but I don't care about ruined endings (I knew it was going to be rough), but it just seems like it is going to be so unsatisfactory.
Which leads me and many others to believe, this is not the end of the Mass Effect franchise, maybe Shepard. I'm expecting an MMO or a Special Forces focused game to be made.

| Its even more of a bitch because the creators have gone on record saying there will a definite golden good ending. | |

| Yea a "where are they now" would have been fucking great. As far as an MMO, I've heard the rumor as well, but how would they incorporate my choices into that? It would have to be like SW: TOR where they literally are forced to make canon stories for the characters, which defeats the purpose of the trilogy entirely. If they do make another game I wouldn't mind playing as Shep, or possibly another character, but I'd REALLY prefer they make it a single player experience, and something tells me they want it that way too, considering BioWare already has a space MMO with dialogue choices and a morality system. | |

| Considering all but the KOTR games usually end with a heroic sacrifice it was kind of to be expected. | |

| Kind of fucked up to give me two games and DLC talkin' about "A bunch of little blue daughters" for the fucking "father" to get offed. Seriously, a little "And this is what Liara did afterwards, and this is what Garrus did afterwards, and this is..." would have made me such a happy clam... | |

| Also apparently there's "one more story" to tell...
HMMMMMMMM.
Also also I want to know how Mortal and Quill's interactions are gonna go down in Pandora... cause you know, Quill's more or less mentally male. Its a bit more muddled for him than the rest of his species since he only chooses male for practical reasons and doesn't see the difference between being male and female so he... lit. has no gender identity lol.

| So basically OT3? Cause, you know, the whole not exactly sure what the concept of monogamy is with all of Quill's race. Not that it can't be brought up. | |

| Sab was barely okay with that shit in BRP, and it prolly only worked because Aroma is a Sab expy. Doubt it would work here. That, and I don't think you fully understand how much I love breaking Sab's heart. If Mortal, Noct, or Sab get offed in FFT I'll drop it, cuz my only goal in that RP is to break all of their hearts. Not so much Mortal's, but she is a key ingredient. | |

| Its more like, even if Mortal broke her heart Quill would let her fall on him/her for support cause, again, no concept of monogamy. | |

Knock that shit off. The point of FFT isn't to provide you with weird jerkoff material.

| It isn't jerk off material. I've already said fights don't bring me the same amount of enjoyment as the quieter moments in RPs. | |

| Technically Lesbian love triangle? nice.
hopefully they make a DLC or something for a better ending or at least a "Post-War" story. I want to know what became of the galaxy after all my choices. It is so unsatisfactory to have "every choice you ever make carry over and effect the ending of your game" but have all endings basically have the same fucked up outcome.

| I'm particularly sore about the "good guy" ending, considering I worked fucking hard to reconcile the Quarians and Geth. That said, if Shepard was considered "synthetic" the you probably offed the Quarians as well. | |

You sound like you're writing a trashy romance novel. Trashy romance novels are used as jerkoff material. Do I have to graph this shit? Point is, I don't care what you jerk off to, but there's more to FFT than what you jerk off to.

| There's apparently a golden ending actually coded into the game. People are pulling dialogue coded for it out. They apparently scrapped it.
I cannot facepalm harder at this.
