| Aboard the Zermic The United Galactic Alliance Fleet Zermic is enroute to the intra-species colonial planet Rexil. Two weeks ago all communication with the planet ceased inexplicably. Fearing foul play from each other, the homeworlds of each species have sent teams to investigate. All rescue teams have gone silent once reaching Rexil space. The United Galactic Alliance Council is in panic and are making one last attempt to find out what is plaguing Rexil before drastic measure must be taken. Furthermore, what ever is disrupting communications has also affected the Mass Relay in the area, forcing the rescue mission to start in the neighboring cluster. The voyage has all ready taken over a month and the crew is getting restless. A feeling they must overcome as the planet is less than an hour away. The Zermic is the last hope Rexil has. ~Bridge~*Aether Operative Iliad Bell has been assigned to the bridge due to her piloting experience. However, much to her dismay, she was assigned to navigation by Captain James Polanis, a middle-aged war veteran that wears the scars of his battles proudly and is openly nontrusting of the mercenaries on his ship.* Cpt. Polanis: "Miss Bell, alter the projected course to swing past the Mass Relay, I want to get a look and see if we can see a malfunction before we head for the surface, then you can head down and join your company. Comms, try hailing the previous rescue parties, again." *Polanis continues his checklist for the approach to Rexil space.* ~Science Wing: Laboratory C~*Linox Benziti is working in his laboratory trying to reformulate a dangerous concoction that nearly blew up the entire Science Wing earlier in the day. Had he not added a nullifying chemical, the Zermic would have likely suffered hull damage from the blast.* "Too much sulfer. Need less. Or perhaps amplify concentration of uranium. No too dangerous. Could cause another reaction. Have to stabilize compound before adding --" *A young soldier dressed in a standard onyx Earth Fleet uniform enters the room and salutes the Salarian.* Soldier: "Dr. Benziti, the away teams are mobilizing. You have been requested to the Flight Deck, sir." "Flight Deck? All ready? Chemical compound not stabilized. Could attempt a quick finish, but could be dangerous with pressure. Okay, I'll finish it later." *Linox pours the nullifying agent into the compound again and follows the soldier down to the Flight Deck.* ~Flight Deck: Staging Area Armory~*The ground teams are preparing for the drop. Collecting gear out of lockers, endulging in one last fraternization with their comrades, or praying they don't end up like the rest of the rescue crews. Soldiers of nearly every Fleet under the United Galactic Alliance command is here, including Humans, Turian, Asari and Salarian. There are also dozens of mercenary bands that have signed on for the substaintual paycheck the Council has signed, including Noct T'Slisi and members of her Aether company. After a month on the ship, tensions are high even amongst friends. Some members of the Blue Suns group have taken to a fist fight over lockers space right in the middle of the armory.* ~Flight Deck: Briefing Room~*A United Galactic Alliance official has called in two soldiers of the ground team, a Turian Fleet member by the name of Ryder Farressien and an Earth Fleet soldier, Mortal Dulces. With them are two younger females, neither looking like they are much for combat.* UGA Official: "Farressien, Dulces, we have a special task for you while on the surface. These two are highly capable Biotics both under direct Alliance supervision. You are to stick to them like glue. Farressien, you're with Jade Montierro and Dulces, you are with Syril Alshqweull. However, I suggest you two work together, it may be easier. Dismissed." *The UGA official leaves the room, leaving Ryder and Mortal to their new babysitting gig. Both are less than happy to their assignment.* Ryder: "I didn't sign up to babysit. This is...what do you humans say... bullshit?" *Ryder addresses Mortal. One of the girls walks up to him. She has a strange shade of blue hair and is wearing a full jump-suit, probably Alliance issued. She whispers something to him that he almost doesn't catch and she never looks up at him.* Jade: "I'll try to be good."

| "Eat this one's sex organ Turian" an incredibly feminine voice announced his/her equal contempt for having to be baby sat. Ok maybe s/he was an ex-pirate... and a criminal... and probably should be watched but damn if it wasn't insulting as hell. Syril moved an errant strand of hair from his/her face and stood. Syril was dressed in a navy blue g-suit that hugged tight to his/her form. The g-suit was meant to be worn under a pilot suit. It was something only someone with extensive experience with piloting a starcraft built for dog fighting would wear casually like this. At the moment Syril's form was male since breasts made the g-suit uncomfortable; not that it was easy to tell since, even for an eantelli, Syril was abnormally androgynous.
"This one was hoping that this one didn't need to be "babysat" and could do this one's job. Piloting a fighter. This one doesn't do grunt work. This one suggests the turian can shove his head up a Vorcha's vagina."

| Mortal had saluted the official as he gave the assignment, and walked off, then let her shoulder's droop. When Ryder spoke up, Mortal had to agree, "I was hoping being of importance here would help me out in the long run," Mortal said, after Syril's 'vorcha' line, "But I can see that I was expecting far too much for myself."
With a small shake of her head, Mortal walks over to Syril, shoulder's squared, and demeanor rigid like any good military dog. She extended her hand to the... thing, "Mortal Dulces, Earth Fleet," She said in an even tone, "Here's hoping things go smoothly."
"So," Mortal said louder, signifying she was talking to everyone present, "Does anyone actually have a mission, or are we sitting on our thumbs waiting for someone to point us in a direction?"

Iliad was starting to hate being called 'Miss Bell', and she was starting to hate the Captain's voice as well. He could have congratulated her on piloting the ship through the hole in a needle, and she was sure it would still come off condescending, and with a general air of contempt.
Perhaps she was just spoiled, she never worked in the military, and the god awful "chain of command" was starting to wear on her. At Aether the best were given the job they were best at. Apparently not here. Here one had to work under someone else barking orders at you. What made things worse was the fact that the guy didn't even like her, or her allies. He basically said as much in the introductions. At least that is how Iliad saw it.
After a while of complained grumbling to herself, Iliad did as she was commanded, "Course rerouted to specifications." She then stood up and headed for the door. She thought briefly about saluting, or... something, but then decided that it wasn't up to her to make peace with the untrusting prick, so she simply continued on her way down to meet the rest of Aether.
--
Dura had been pulling on a combat suit when she noticed Zell's excited face practically beaming excitement at the Blue Suns and their squabble. Dura let out a small sigh and continued putting on her suit when Zell gave her a look, "No Zell, we will no join in," Dura said, "We're on a job, odd as this one may be, and we can't just go around causing a ruckus."
"Dammit, how did you know what I was going to say?" Zell asked, shoulders sagging with disappointment as she began to suit up as well.
Dura chuckled, "Perhaps it is the fact that I've known you for all the time I've been in Aether, or perhaps it is the fact that this wouldn't be the first time you asked me to help you out in a fight. Its a toss up really."
Zell smiled, "Come on, you know it'd be funny. Two girls thumping out a bunch of hardened mercs. I'll even treat you to some drinks after this is done," Though seemingly innocuous at first, the offer at the end left Dura with a look of startled realization, as if remembering a bad experience. When Zell saw the look she mirrored it perfectly.
"Hey guys, whats up?" Iliad asked, finally making her way down to her friends. Zell, and Dura's demeanor worsened.
"Uh, nothing, Zell just made me remember something," Dura said quickly, with a shake of the head.
Iliad shrugged, and began to get ready as well, "Okay then. So, have you seen Noct? I figured she would be with you guys."
"She is here somewhere," Zell answered, "She said something about meditating, you know how she likes to clear her head before going out."
--
And so it was that Noct was off in the far corner of the room, sitting cross legged, meditating. She seemed to glow blue sightly as well, given her biotics.

| "This one is called Syril Alshqweull, 'former' space pirate. This one didn't know military types wanted to shake hands still with criminals" he didn't shake her hand. "This one suggests something more intimate than a handshake however if one wants to call this one by this one's preferred name of Quill." He then winked and wandered over to a computer terminal and input something drawing up a map on a large screen.
"This one suggests we make this point the drop zone" he marked a big orange X over the point. "Records indicate this part of the atmosphere is thinner. Easier to enter without atmospheric friction dealing unneeded damage to the ship's hull. Especially if the esteemed commander has his head up his ass as much as you do, Turian, and decides to actually have us go in via orbital drop. This one is okay with that however. Not the first time this one has been required to do a personal orbital drop."
He put his hands on his hips, "This one sees the ship's computer systems have faulty security. This one suggests one of you military grunt types bring this up with the commander." He then wiggled his quills a bit.
"Ether by ship or orbital drop, this one suspects our mission is merely a matter of sending us out and watching us fumble around in the dark in the interest of 'recon'."

| Mortal literally had to wage an internal war with herself to calmly bring her hand down to her side, and not use it to wring Quill's neck. Which was rare, considering Mortal wasn't one for open anger. With a shaking fist, Mortal replied, "I knew mercs would be optioned, but a damned pirate. We're inviting trouble in," She said, sparring no hostility in her voice. Her eyes darted the room, until she found a seat. Quickly she took it and sat down, trying to steady her nerves. It seemed to work for all of a minute until she had a horrible realization, "Oh god, you propositioned me for sex, didn't you?" Mortal shook with visible disgust, "I'll be fine without, Quill," lacing the individual's name with as much discontent as she could muster.
Shaking her head, knowing prolonged thought of the previous topic would only lead to grotesque mental images, she gave Ryder a quick look, "What do you think about this? Certainly you can't actually be okay with serving aboard this ship with a pirate."
"And you, don't touch anything you don't have clearance for," Mortal quickly added, though she did make a mental note to bring up the issue latter, along with her concerns about working with someone like Quill. Giving said person one more look Mortal tried to imagine working cohesively with Quill, whether in combat, or aboard the ship, and simply could not envision a scenario where Mortal wasn't reminded of the fact that pirates had sacked her ship, and most of its crew, killing her parents in the chaos, within the year.

| ~Bridge~ Captain: "No damage to the Relay. What could have happened?"
Helmsman: "Captain, the Relay is not generating any power.....Engineering is reporting a decrease in output from the engines."
Captain: "Reroute secondary systems to make up for it."
~Flight Deck: Briefing Room~ Ryder smiled at the young creature's arguments. He had recognized it as Eantelli, with the way it referred to itself, and had known they could be quite outgoing. He found it quite humorous to see Mortal's reaction to such a proposition.
Ryder: "Obviously, you haven't run military operations enough. The away team is going to take shuttles to the surface while the Zermic remains in orbit."
Ryder watched as Quill wandered over to a machine and pulled up a map interface and plotted a good drop point. Ryder walked over and nudged her aside.
“Looks good, I’ll forward the memo up to the bridge.”
Ryder had caught Mortal’s question about orders. She had a dry sense of humor, one that he wasn’t very fond of. But, then again, most Human humor escaped his understanding. Jade seemed amused by it, but it may have been more of a nervous tick. Then she got serious and addressed them all.
Jade: “I was hired to look for the Colonial Council, specifically the Asari Matriarch and the Krogan Warlord.” She eagerly pulled out some folders from her pack and handed them to each of the members. Ryder looked over the paperwork quickly and sighed.
Ryder: “Unbelievable. We really are babysitting, this is her operation and we are playing bodyguards.”
~Flight Deck: Staging Area Armory~ As the crews finish gathering their gear, a team of UGA soldiers run in and break up the Blue Suns brawl taking place. A sharply dressed commander walks in and addresses the crews.
Commander: “We are minutes away from the drop zone. You have your orders, once reaching the surface you are to break into your teams and search for survivors. They are your priority. Secondary objective is to keep an eye out for the source of this. Maintain radio contact at all time. Good luck down there. Now get to your shuttles!”
The commander walks out and the UGA soldiers bark orders to move and the mercenary and Fleet marines scramble out of the armory and into the Flight Deck Hanger to board their shuttles. One of the Aether ships is in here and waiting for her crew. An excited looking Salarian is running towards the Aether ship looking around with a rather confused expression.

| Taking a deep breath Syril decided to stop being mockingly polite.
"No, I did not proposition you for sex" He then turned to Ryder. "No, I obviously haven't because I have never been in the military. What part of 'space pirate' did you not understand turian?" He sighed deeply and walked back over to Mortal then sat down.
"I don't intend to go back to being one so you have nothing to worry about Ms. Mortal. It was fun while it lasted but the group got more violent and brazen when I was on board. I guess having an ace pilot made them too cock-sure. So relax... unless you need 'help' relaxing?"
Ok this time maybe he did proposition her.

| Ryder hadn't laughed so hard in a long time. It was obvious that Mortal was a little more sensible than most Humans he has ran into in the past and he could only imagine how uncomfortable someone like Quill could make her.
Ryder: "I have no problems with pirates. Just remember I was the one that brought down Ceris Larnik on Yregil, so a little uni-sex pilot like you won't be a problem if you do decide to cross us."

| "I'll keep that in mind turian. Just remember I won't double cross you if you don't double cross me. This is a relationship of mutual honor. If you get me off I'll get you off. That sort of thing" he highlighted this by making some sort of obscene gesture probably related to mutual fellation like he described.
He then made an observation about Mortal that was most likely to make her uncomfortable, "You have beautiful hair. White is an usual color for humans. It suits you well."

| At the revelation of her orders Mortal let out a humorless laugh, "Amazing..." Was all she could muster, under her breath. Quietly, she leaned back into her chair and just tried to relax. This changed nothing, working a babysitting detail, working with a 'reformed' pirate, it all changed nothing. Mortal would still use this to her advantage, she had to. Quickly she was reminded of a quote from an old Human, civil rights activist, 'If you are called to be a street sweeper, sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. Sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, 'Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.'' With a little nod of confirmation, Mortal opened up her eyes.
She had been vaguely aware of what was being discussed, outright ignoring the second proposition for sex, but was surprised to see Quill mimicking blowjobs to highlight a point. Quickly, however, she resigned herself to her fate. She was working with a perverted ex-pirate, getting flustered over it any longer would interfere with her duty. Still, knowing that couldn't stop her from shaking her head, and giving a small sigh. She was then put a bit on the defensive as Quill complimented her on her hair. She had it up in a bun at the moment, being in uniform and all, though she usually wore it down, or in a ponytail. Mortal stood up, "Thank you. It is a medical condition, I didn't see a need to correct it," She said, before adding, "And it isn't 'Ms. Mortal', its 'Sgt. Dulces', but for simplicity's sake, just call me Mortal."
She then opened up the folder that she had been handed, and began to go over the finer details. Mostly looking for any information that would lead them to the Asari and Krogan, where they were last seen, where they usually went, where they worked; that sort of thing.
--
Ily, Zell and Dura listened as the orders were given, and nodded to each other once the speech was over. "Anyone else find it a bit off that our main goal is to find survivors, and not the source?" Zell asked, as the group began to head towards the hangar, and their ship.
"Not really," Dura said, "This is a rescue mission. I won't deny that they're probably being a bit hopeful, and perhaps a little naive, but I can see where they are coming from."
"Yes, 'Look for people who totally are not already dead, and worry about what totally didn't kill them and the multitude of search and rescue teams that were sent after them later', it makes perfect sense," Ily added with a smile.
"You know, you bring up a good point, Einstein said that the definition of insanity was doing things over and over, and expecting a different result. Every race has already tried this search and rescue thing, and it didn't work well for them, what makes anyone think it'll work now. We should have gone into this looking for the source of this issue. It would probably have led us to the pile of bodies anyway," Zell replied.
"Wait, who is Einstein?" Iliad asked.
"You can't be serious, even YOU have to know who he is!"
"Hey, it isn't--"
"Both of you be quiet for a second," Dura interrupted, "Who is that Salarian running towards our ship?"
--
Stepping out of said ship, Noct gave the Salarian a quick look before asking, "Is there something I can help you with, Dr. Benziti?"

| ~Bridge~
Helmsman: "Captain, Secondary systems are all ready offline! Engineering reports power at 50% and dropping."
Cpt: "What the hell is that?!"
~Flight Deck: Briefing Room~
*Mortal can see information pertaining to the Colonial Council in her folder. Given the estimated time of loss of communcation, the C.C. was likely in the UGA Headquarters in Rexil's capitol city. Besides the addresses of their homes, there is little other useful information.*
Jade: "Something doesn't feel right..."
Ryder turns back from the console and gets a good look at Jade. She appears to be an average female Human for her age, but her personality doesn't fit. Even her voice reminds him of a child. How important could a mentally unstable girl be? Or was it that he was so unimportant that it was all they would give him.
Ryder: "It's just nerves, every team that has gone to Rexil has disappeared. We could be next." Ryder hesitated on the last encouraging detail. The lights began to flicker for just a moment before they went out completely. Within seconds, the emergency lighting comes on, leaving an eerie red glow around the room.
Ryder: "Well...that's a good start..." Jade grabs on to Quill's waist and holds him/her tight as she screams out during the darkness. She only loosens a little when the emergency lights come on.
~Flight Deck: Hangar Bay~
Mercs and soldiers alike scramble to their assigned shuttles and ships. Linox arrives at the Aether ship and is appoached by it's Captain as her crew approaches.
Linox: "I...I got turned around I think. I was assigned to the Aether crew, but I must have the wrong ship."
Linox starts to step back slowly and trips over himself when the lights flicker and go out. Seconds later the emergency lighting comes on. The red glow is hardly enough to light the massive hangar and it is impossible to see 50 yards away let alone the other side of the bay. Linox climbs back to his feet and looks around the room.
Linox: "Strange...Power loss? Malfunction in the engines or perhaps stealth systems engaged? No, ship too large, first option most likely."

"Well that was ominous. Maybe I should get changed into something more resistant to bullets."

| Mortal flipped through the folder for a bit, making simple assessments, and trying to formulate a rough game plan. Turning towards Ryder she opened her mouth to ask a question as to whether Rexil's capitol had a emergency center, someplace the civs would head in case of an emergency, but was cut off by the power outage, and Jade's lovely windpipes.
After pulling her hands from her ears, and letting out a small sigh, she said, "It looks like there is an issue with the engine system." She recognized the emergency lights, and narrowed down the probable causes before stating the most likely scenario. Experience gained as an XO aboard another ship. "This isn't exactly the best way to start off the mission, I'd say. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this delayed the situation."
--
Ily, and Zell looked a little agitated, "Alright, so what now?" Zell asked, looking around.
"Nothing," Dura replied, "We're supposed to be getting out of here anyway. I'm sure they'll have the situation worked out by the time we get back."
Noct waved to her ship, "No, you've found the right place. This is the Aether ship, the Anchorage, that is the crew there, and I am Noct T'Silsi."

| ~Flight Deck: Briefing Room~
*Jade collects her things and sticks close to Ryder's side. A strange mist starts to flow in to the room from the ventilation systems. Even in the red filter of the emergency lights, the mist is a shiny black.*
Ryder's mandibles twitch at the sight of the strange mist as he backs up towads the door.
Jade: "What is it? It's kind of pretty."
Ryder: "I think now would be a good time to join the rest of the shore parties." He says. He bumps into the door and quickly turns around. It won't open with the power out. One of the curses of everything being automatic and electronic these days.
~Flight Deck: Hangar Bay~
UGA Cmdr: "Everyone on board your ships! Continue the mission."
Pilot1: "The Vercon isn't responding, we can't take off!"
Pilot2: "Same story for the Herald."
*The ships are also not functioning and the Hangar erupts into confusion and concern. This no longer a malfunction with the Zermic. Furthermore, a strange mist has started flowing out of the vents into the Hangar. Even in the glow of the red emergency lights, the mist is apparently a shiny black.*
Linox listens to the pilots shouting out their problems. He ponders as to the cause when he notices the mist that has begun to cover the floor.
Linox: "Strange. Obviously not a problem with the Zermic's engines. Must be something more at work here. I don't recognize this."
Linox picks up some of the mist which falls right out of his hand and back to the floor as any mist would do. Besides its color and its presence, there is nothing odd that Linox can determine.

| "Move" Quill says then makes sure everyone gets the hell out of his way before facing the door. He holds a hand out and the door literally begins to crumple under its own weight before being torn off its hinges then being crushed into a cube. The cube slams the ground with a metallic thud. The cause of such a violent display becomes a lot more evident once the door gets smaller. Quill had called forth the biotic power of singularity inside the door itself.
Looks like he wasn't kidding when he said he was a powerful biotic.
"Been awhile since I've used that. I'm rusty."

| Ryder: "Well, that's impressive."
*Ryder leads the way through. The otherside leads to the Staging Area Armory.*
Ryder: "Now this is my kind of place."
Ryder tries to open his locker, but like everything else, the automatic door won't respond. Frustrated, he punches his fist through the thin metal and yanks it off its hinges. He pulls out his sniper and holsters it on his back. Then he pulls out his assault rifle and activates it. A smile crosses his face as he grips the rifle.
Jade: "You like guns..."

| OOC: Had this done a while ago, but apparently I didn't hit send. So if it doesn't make total sense it is because it was originally meant to come after Seraph's post.
Mortal let out a contented sigh, she didn't have to tell one of the three biotics there to tear down the door, as one of them was smart enough to do so on their own. "Right, lets get out of here. I don't particularly trust that gas." With that, Mortal exited the room, making sure to take one of the intel folders with her, just for reference later on.
Once at the lockers Mortal made way for her's and wasted no time breaking it open with two, simultaneous, palm thrusts directed at the hinges. The door practically popped right off. She pulled on her combat suit, and strapped on her weapons before making way for the exit. As soon as she stepped out of the room however she bumped into an Ovisian, "I'm sorry, I wasn't looking at where I was heading."
The girl shook her head, "No, no, it is fine, I'm just glad I didn't poke you with my horns, or anything." She said with the hint of a smile, "Oh, would you mind helping me out? I would appreciate it if you could point me in the direction of the hangar, I was supposed to head there to join up with a marine shore party, but I got kind of turned about, and then this happened," She pointed towards the lights, "So now I'm even more lost."
Mortal nodded, "We were headed there now, feel free to follow along." With that, Mortal began to make her way to down the hall, checking to make sure Ryder, Jade, and Quill were in tow.
--
Noct goes back into the ship, and rummages around for a second before returning with a plastic bottle. After scooping up some of the mist she caps the bottle and observes it through the clear container, "Odd. I imagine you may want to study this later, doctor."
Ily, having ignored most of that, rushed aboard the ship and made way for the cockpit to see if she was out of commission like the other ships in the hangar.

| Ryder: "Right, let's get moving, those ground teams are ready to go." ~Flight Deck: Hangar Bay~*The Anchorage is unresponsive like the rest of the vessals, comms, power, nothing works except emergency systems.* Linox takes the jar and examines it closely. Soon the mist starts to rise and takes the shape of some kind of creature. It snarls and slams against the jar trying to break out. Linox: "Fascinating. It seemes to have a sapient intelligent design. This is not good." Linox notices the mist at his feet is starting to disappear. *Ryder, Mortal and the others enter the Hangar Bay to see the situation is still the same as the Briefing Room. The mist is forming into various little clumps and then building up into strange shadow creatures. Instantly, the shadows grab the nearest marine and drag them down into the mist where they both disappear.* Ryder: "Woah! That's not good." Jade screams out as one of the creatures forms behind her and grabs her. Ryder swiftly spins around and shoots about 10 rounds into the creature. Holes form and then fill with each shot and the creatures is unharmed. As it starts to drag her down, fear overwhelms her and her body radiates with biotic energy. The shadow creature cries in pain until Jade finally goes nova and lets out a blast of energy, knocking everyone around her to the ground and destroying the creature. *Across the Hangar Bay, a creature has grabbed Linox and 2 others have formed around the Anchorage crew and are quickly closing in.* | |

| Quill goes flying but lands on his feet with knives drawn. He spins them then lunges for the nearest shadow creature with a biotic fueled charge. "Damn what are these things!?" | |

| Ryder ducks as one of the creatures appears in front of him and charges his fist with his biotics. He activates his Omni-Tool's blade and stabs into the chest of the monster. Or he would have if it didn't just go right through like his bullets. Jade throws a ball of biotic energy, causing the creature to disintegrate.
Ryder: "I don't know, but they keep coming..."
*Mist continues to pour out from the vents and fill up the room. Two creatures spring up and grab Mortal by her arms and start dragging her down.*

| Quill doesn't even turn around and a singularity opens near Mortal sucking the shadow beasts in. | |

| After being tossed, then grabbed, then subjected to an all too close encounter with a singularity, the woman with no biotic powers staggers to her feet. With the amount of adrenaline coursing through her system things seemed to crawl to a snail's pace, helping her notice a few important tidbits. The only method of attack that had seemed to work so far had been biotics, but even then, she couldn't be sure if they were just temporary fixes, as either the same creature reformed, or a new one took its place instantly.
Looking around, Mortal took notice of the fact that they were in a hangar, "If we can get the hangar doors open, perhaps we could flush the mist out of the ship and into space," She suggested, "So long as everyone stays in their ships, it shouldn't be an issue."
--
Sab was quite frankly freaked out by the monsters, but tried her best to remain composed as she launched an Incinerate, more or less a firebomb, from her Omnitool at one of the shadows.
--
Dura uses a lift to levitate Linox, and the creature. Noct uses a gentle pull to bring him aboard the ship, and as the creature was floating in the air alone, Dura hit it with a biotic throw. Zell, quickly tried her best to freeze solid one of the creatures with a Cryo Blast. Should the monster actually freeze she unloads a few rounds into it so that it'll shatter.

| *Sab's Incinerate attack covers the creature in flames, but they soon disappear as it absorbs the attack and even grows a little bigger. Zell's Cryo Blast has the same result, before the monster fully freezes it absorbs the ice and grows a little bit. The creature threatening Linox slams against a wall and bursts apart.* Ryder: "It may just work, at least worth a shot!" Ryder tosses a Warp attack, sending a large biotic force slamming against one of the creatures. He pulls out a clip with a purple aura around it and tosses it to Mortal. Ryder: "Careful, it's experimental, but it may be useful." Jade encases a creature in a biotic aura and throws it against the wall. She then grabs the two nearest hands to her own, Sab's and Quill's and starts to drag them to the nearest ship, a small UGAF frigate class ship and runs up the loading ramp. *Across the Hangar, the creatures are getting tired of the Anchorage crew, nearly two dozen have appeared around the ship.* Linox: "We should get on board and seal off the ship! Maybe we can keep them out..." | |

| "On the plus side, at least now we know what caused all those disappearances." | |
