"Not really, but I woke up feeling hungry," Astarte threw a disdainful look at the food the others were eating. "I was wondering if I could go to the Menos Forest briefly and eat a Hollow."

"I'm not your mother," Mortal said, "You don't have to ask for permission. Just make sure you come back in one piece."

*Aroma frowns.*

A"Why would you want to do that? We have food here. Food that doesn't look at you judgmentally before you eat it."

*The shark keeps putzing along, not giving a fuck. Euryale does a handstand, using Bringer Light to affix herself to the fish. Meanwhile, the dolphins are attempting to swim into their own shadows.*

"I'm sensing you've had bad experiences with eating other hollows." Sab said, though it was framed as more of a question.

Noctis is incredibly amused at what she has done to the dolphins.

A"I never liked being a Hollow--eating people, people trying to eat me--that's why I jumped at the chance when those two were making Arrancar. Although, now that I think of it, now I'm part of a mission to kill them. It's funny how life works...I guess...."

*Euryale falls over after noticing that the mother and child from before are in the hall, the girl pointing at them and the mother pressing the security button.*

"Who exactly turned you into an arrancar?" Sab followed up.

Noct grabs Euryale and poofs them out of a palm tree down the street where no one was looking. Noctis kind of giggles a bit, "Are you alright?"

E"Yeah...I kind of regret not having time with the dolphins, though."

A"I never got their names. One had slicked-back black hair...he was always really serious, didn't say much. The other was a blond man who was rather...let's call him outspoken."

Noctis giggled again, then realized that she didn't even feel weird taking Euryale through her shadow. The thought caused her to grin stupidly, "I love you, Euryale."

Mortal looked displeased, "Why would Malkuth, and Netzach go around making arrancar?"

A"I think they do it just to make trouble for you and Senthose. But it's okay, I'm sure Aamon didn't have anything worse for them to steal, right?"

*Euryale sits down on her knees and shins, putting her arms around Noctis.*

E"I love you too. And you have the most adorable smile ever."

Mortal just laughed, and went back to eating.

This caused Noct to flush red, then scowl a bit at the smile remark. Still she returned the hug. After a few seconds she offered the astute observation, "We're both really wet..."

A"I do not like the sound of that laugh."

E"Yes, I thought that drying off could wait."

"You shouldn't," Mortal replied, "So, what level of menos did you get to if you don't like eating hollows?"

"Yes, that is what I meant," Noct said, "I'm a bit disappointed... I just got these clothes."

E"They'll be fine once they've dried off."

A"I was an Adjuchas. My hunger usually got the better of me."

"I just thought I should let you know or something, since we are about to wage war," Astarte had waited for the others to finish talking before continuing herself. "...I will return soon."
With that she turned and opened a Garganta that led to the Menos Forest and stepped through, the Garganta closing shut behind her.

As soon as she set foot within the forest Astarte began scanning the area for the spiritual pressure of a Gillain or Adjuches.

*A bigass Gillian bursts through the sand. It is shaped like a normal Gillian, but its body is entirely made of crystal trees, with branches sticking out at odd angles. It looks down at Astarte & roars.*

<I cannot be defeated!>

Kira's lion tears apart and reassembles around Noah's body- setting him on fire- and then explodes violently. The other two lions are now regenerated and ready to move.
Meanwhile Kira keeps chanting intensely and then swings his hand back at the wave of feathers, firing a powerful Hiryūgekizokushintenraihō into it.
He is also twisting the blade embedded in Noah's hollow's face with one hand.

*Even if they could regenerate that fast, which is bullshit, they would just be blown away again by the pressure wave. So aside from being annoyed at his attack being countered, Noah is good. Some of the feathers also push through, where they release inaudible sound waves that cause Kira to become dizzy and ill. Noah flash-steps up to where he is, slashing at the hand he outstretched to fire his Kido.*

Astarte appeared to remain where she was, although there were several flurries of movement all across the Gillian's vision at different distances and within a moment Astarte was slicing her Zanpakuto in an arc that would cleave it's mask in two.

<Aaaugh! I'm bein' defeated!>

*The Gillian flails its arms around in a pointless attempt to hit her before falling over with a big crack in its mask.*

Astarte sheathed her Zanpakuto and flew down to the hollow, which she began to consume from behind.

Sab smiled, "Me too... So, how did you go about eating other hollows. It was pretty hard for me... since I was a sheep."

"A good wash will get the salt out too," Noct added, "So, did you have fun, you little trouble maker?"

*It looks at Astarte judgmentally as it is being eaten.*

*Aroma has a flashback to being a giant wormlike monster that trapped Hollows in silk before eating them whole. She loses a bit of color in her face.*

A"I'd...rather not talk about my Hollow days. It's kind of embarassing."

E"Yes. Very much. Did you?"

"I had an excellent time," Noct said, kissing Euryale again quickly.

"Uh, alright I guess."

ooc: they only take a few seconds to regenerate, and they didn't regenerate right next to him anyway. Only one got blown away just now.

Kira has already retracted that hand and drawn his blade out of the hollow's face (which might be gone by now?) and swings it to counter Noah's blade.
At the same time he releases a Haien at Noah's face with his free hand, mostly just to distract him half a moment before he flies backwards and one of the lions appears behind Noah to explode.

OOC: Several things are wrong with what you just said. Firstly, that whole post could be performed in maybe the window of one second. Secondly, it is a quote-unquote "massive pressure wave." It doesn't really care whether or not something is "right next to [it]."

*The lions all being gone, he makes no move to dodge what does not exist. If Kira looks down, he will notice that a large crack has been cut into his Zanpakuto. Without moving from his spot, Noah points the blade at Kira and jerks his wrist around, firing a blast of sound from a slightly different angle every half second or so. Meanwhile, his feathers go towards regenerating as much of his wing as he can.*
