Sab giggled again, felt bad again, and decided to leave to room rather than face any more unfortunate implications.

Mortal braces against the lightning with her arms, and lets out a small sigh. As the burns on her arms begin to heal, she walks over to Astarte and rubs her back. "Come on, lets get you back to your room so you can rest," She said, "Can you walk, or would you like me to carry you there?"

"I could walk..." Astarte's manner was soft again, her mild personality returned. "But I'd rather not..."

S"When do you suppose she'll realize that this is her room?"

E"Do you think sharks can get FullBrings?"

Mortal scooped Astarte up, bridal style, and began walking off towards the mansion. "You weren't bad today. You should be proud of you level of skill."

"Uh, maybe?"

"Thank you..." Astarte allowed a slight smile. "But I am still far behind you, I am a little afraid of becoming a burden."

E"What do you think is important to a shark? ...Water?"

*Senthose heads off to the entrance hall.*

"Their nose?" Noct said with a small giggle.

"You're not a burden at all," Mortal said, "And don't sell yourself short, you're behind us, but I'd wager Senthose and I are the strongest arrancar, at the very least we're the most dangerous. It says a lot that you can keep up, let alone contend. Plus you're not running away. You're going to get better and stronger because of that. I can't begin to express how admirable I find that."

*Senthose walks in on this exchange.*

"Excuse me, but where the Hell was Miss Self Help Seminar when I was trying to bolster Lilith's confidence in us?"

*Euryale laughs as well.*

Astarte blushed quite heavily and started chewing her nails distractedly.

"I was always the same person," Mortal said, "Lilith just got what she gave, which was mostly insults. I like to think we're past that stage now. That aside, it has nothing to do with how I treat Astarte." Mortal finished, walking off towards Astarte's room.

S"No. I am completely offended."

A"Didn't you almost kill her like twenty minutes ago?"

S"But I wasn't RUDE about it! I tried to kill everyone!"

A"Right...I'm gonna go with Mortal now."

*They wander into the hall with the octopus tanks. Noticing this, Euryale covers Noctis's eyes.*

"You don't want to look! There's bad things in here! I will lead us to safety!"

Astarte stayed silent, as was her usual reaction to most situations.

Noct plays along, "Alright, lead the way."

Mortal continued carrying Astarte to her room, and laid her down in her bed, "There you are, try to get some rest."

Sab found Senthose, alone, "Hey, where is everyone?"

Astarte found that suddenly the bed wasn't so uncomfortable to her and she sunk quite happily into the mattress.
"Thank you very much."

"Lilith is asleep. Mortal and Aroma just went to take Aroma to bed. To carry her to her bed, to be more exact. It looked like Astarte was enjoying it. I guess I probably wouldn't mind someone heaping praise about how strong and admirable she finds me, either. You know, I did find it odd that they didn't breathe a word asking about you. Odd. Anyway, I'm going to go get food."

*Senthose strides into the kitchen nonchalantly.*

*Aroma stands at the doorway, saying nothing.*

*Euryale steers her out of the room, shuffling along as fast as she can without causing Noctis to fall over, or anything.*

Noct is led along.

Mortal smiled a bit, "It is no problem." With that, she begins to leave the room.

Sab follows after Senthose, "You're just trying to get in my head. Mortal would-- Aroma wouldn't!" Sab paused, "Then again, Aroma is the first other woman... what if-- No, I shouldn't think that about them. They wouldn't do that."

S"I have no idea what you're talking about. Why don't you play Solitare, or some other one person game, and let me enjoy my kebob in peace?"

*Euryale then lets go of her eyes.*

"We're good...but I wouldn't recommend looking back. You'll miss...uhh...."

*The hallway they now found themselves in was mostly storage closets.*

Sab paces around the room, lost in thought.

"Where exactly did you take us?" Noctis asked.

Astarte closed her eyes and would appear to most to be asleep. In truth she was considering what hell would be like and wondering how much fire would be down there.

A"So, what's going on?"

*Senthose is cooking shish kebobs.*

"Oh, Euryale, you're my saviour!" Noct said with glee, "What would I have done if I was subjected to such sights. It is chivalry like that which will get you all the ladies."

Mortal puts an arm around Aroma's waist, and left the room, closing the door behind her, "Nothing much. What is going on with you?"

Sab is still pacing.

*Long silence.*

E"...Are you making fun of me?"

A"Nothing at all, I just got done talking with Senthose, and wanted to see what you were up to."

"I was making a joke on your behalf," Noct said, pulling Euryale into a hug, "I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to insult you, just joking around."

"Oh, okay. Is Lilith alright?"

E"Awww, I can't be upset with you. Least of all not when you're all huggy."

A"She should be fine. I was worried she wouldn't be healed by tomorrow, but Senthose says she can fix the rest with Kido. You know, I think today is the first time I've ever actually seen Kido. Do all of those binding spells hurt?"
